An extraordinary scuba diving cruise in the Komodo National Park which is undoubtedly the most beautiful we have done. The Adelaar is a superb boat, modern, comfortable and offering safety and all the desired amenities. The crew, always smiling, always looking out for us, is very professional and, above all, very kind. Finally, a huge thank you to Reto and Lorine, those in charge of the cruise and also our diving guides. Very experienced and constantly attentive to our needs, they contributed greatly to this idyllic stay. Thank you, thank you and thank you again.

Magnificent sailboat that takes us back to childhood as soon as we arrive: feeling like a pirate!:) the whole team is great, smiling and always in a good mood, super friendly, we take care of you from start to finish! The cabins, meals and everything on the boat is perfect.as for what happens underwater.it's hard to dream of better! Reto and Nick take us to magnificent places on each dive! The only problem with this cruise is that it makes you want to come back very quickly!

One word - EXCEPTIONAL. I joined Adelaar as a marine biologist and guest for a 10N/11D "Manta Ray Special" trip in Komodo National Park. The trip was nothing short of ocean perfection. The ship itself is a work of art; a spacious deck, the interior design and cabins are stunning. The food was delicious food (with exquisite attention to detail from the most thoughtful host, Nyoman!) and the crew were so warm, friendly and attentive. Komodo is home some of the most fantastic diving in the world and the Adelaar dive guides allowed us to explore this to its full potential. If you are looking for an exceptional boat with an incredible atmosphere and the highest class experience - then it doesn't get much better than this. I miss it already & can't wait to return to the Adelaar for another adventure!

As a travel writer and photographer, I am privileged to meet with a broad scope of products and businesses around the world, so I believe it's so important to give credit where credit is due. As a diver and frequent liveaboard traveller, if you are looking for a luxury and extremely intimate diving experience, Adelaar Cruises is at the top of experiences. With only 4 cabins for guests, it feels very much like your own private sailing boat, stopping at some of the world's most spectacular dive sites. The food is brilliant, staff like family (some have worked on vessel for 25 years which says it all to me), interior polished and elegant, and if interested in the finer details, the air conditioning was a huge thing for me. I normally resign myself to annoying air conditioning on every vessel I go on - it just goes with cabin life. It's either hot and stuffy, blowing in your face, musty, freezing, whatever (a sore throat ensues). But not on Adelaar. Upon stating this, I was told there was indeed some intricate different system, that obviously works amazingly. I have nothing to fault about this entire experience and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a first class diving adventure. The location of Komodo within the Coral Triangle, also ensures that the diving you will do will be some of the most bio-diverse ever experienced. Our trip on the Adelaar exceeded all expectations! Diving was wonderful, food was delicious and our room was amazing. This boat has something for everyone and even partners of non divers will enjoy being on board. We will definitely be back again!
