BEAUTIFUL! Husband and I went at 9am and were the only ones in the entire place. 150k entry fee is very reasonable for the amount of beautiful artwork to view inside the museum and the surrounding grounds area. Definitely worth checking out if you are an art guru like myself.

The traditional Balinese art pieces collected by the Agungrai couple are truly worth seeing.

The ARMA is a really nice museum. I'd recommend it for sure for the art lovers. There is a lot of canvas, drawings, you can meet and see some painters! Or maybe I was just lucky. 150k IDR to enter, includes a free tea/coffee. The souvenir shop has a limited choice. Overrall a nice collection.

Have no complaints for the museum and the art; they’re all stunning!
but we do have bad experience with their cafe; the carrot cake wasn’t fresh and we can tell from the smell and the taste that the cream is rotten ugh.
Please, if you cannot serve fresh food, better just keep your refrigerator full of frozen food. That would be better for consumer.

The collection ranges from traditional to contemporary, including classical Kamasan painting on tree bark, masterpieces by Batuan artists of the 1930s and 1940s and the only works to be seen on the island of Bali by 19th century Javanese artist Raden Saleh and Syarif Bustaman.

Prominent are works by Balinese masters such as I Gusti Nyoman Lempad, Ida Bagus Made, Anak Agung Gede Sobrat and I Gusti Made Deblog.

This is the best museum. The paintings presented have a personal touch. Most of the paintings on display were painted in the early 90s, and some are even from the 80s, one of which is Raden Saleh's work.

The museum has an extensive collection of modern Bali artists together with some International artists. It has also a section dedicated to the German painter Walter Spies with some reproductions of his most famous paintings and one very special original. The museum itself is connected to a Hotel and restaurant and you can have tea and local sweet treats included in the admission ticket.

The museum in itself is beautiful: the choice of art is really great to see the evolution of the iconography in Bali.
The café is amazing and the food is also very delicious. The whole garden is an experience in itself. Don’t miss this art foundation!

The museum, which is one of the famous tours of Ubud, has a large collection of famous painters, both local and foreign. Some of the paintings here are displayed permanently or temporarily, which means that one day they will be moved to another place. The Arma Museum is recommended for those of you who want to travel while studying in Bali.

The land, which was intentionally left uneven, was transformed into a beautiful garden, a place to place museum works, and so on. This soil can turn into a suitable place for anything if it is properly cared for.

In addition, the museum building has two main buildings, namely Bale Dajah and Bale Dauh which have an area of ​​3,300 and 1,200 square meters, respectively. Both are built adjacent to a pond and fountain, as well as a beautiful terraced rice field.

The architecture and the gardens of this museum are legendary and show what many newer building try to achieve, but fail. The artwork is meager, very local and not in a good shape. The exhibition is dark an chlaustrophobic. Over all it is a nice place to get the Balinese feeling for life.

Agung Rai is one the friendliest gentleman I've ever met (and one of the few Royals). He possesses true hospitality, wit, knowledge and grace on an island full of shining souls:)

I spend the entire afternoon walking and admiring, and that was not enough time to enjoy the art. There is so much to see.

The garden of peace. Right in the heart of Ubud, we were pleasantly surprised at how tranquil this place was. It's a large compound, and the artworks are spectacular. They cover a range of styles and elements of the history of Bali, including some western influence. 100k entry fee each, which includes a free tea or coffee. They have a cafe with food if needed. You can pick up some hand carved items too, courtesy of Suaka, who has incredible craftsmanship. Come spend some time in peace.

Pretty place. Chilling and comfortable. Most pictures do not impress but some are really nice. Lighting in museum is not sufficient for some pictures. Still worth checking imo.

Cool museum with an awesome collection of art. Can be a little confusing navigating throughout, knowing which buildings you can actually enter, even with a map. But it's definitely worth it for the architecture and the art. Entry is 100k and you get a free tea/coffee. Like most art museums, no photos allowed inside the gallery.

This place needs better maintenance of Art works because it's really hot inside the building and several paintings and drawings look bent and warped, viewing from the side. Also, no proper storage of works not on display. Very sad.

Other than that, very nice and diverse collection. A must to visit!

Came here on a Monday afternoon to see their traditional and modern collection. I was one of probably 10 people in the premises so it felt a bit scary for me to go around the big space of the museum but the art itself is finely curated. Talked to some of their resident artists who offer private classes if you want to schedule with them. Then enjoyed an iced tea and rice cake and explored the area some more. Worth the fee and the place is really well planned and beautiful

A wonderful place for a visit. Some art, some nature (take a walk down to the pond and over a bridge), some food and drink - all you need to recover from the hustle of the busy streets of Ubud.

The best art museum I have ever been to. It doesn't end there. It has a paddy rice field and as you walk around this entire property, you would not want to come back.

Great collection of traditional and contemporary pieces. The ticket comes with a free tea/coffee redemption and there is a beautiful garden in the back.

Several galleries include traditional/local and contemporary works. All are nicely displayed. Museum is also connected to a resort so there are a few places onsite for a drink, snack or meal.

Best Balinese structure and landscape architectural for a museum. Recommended for a good day enjoying art and having conversation with the artist.
