One of the best meals in bali, and Bintang, Robert and the staff were superb - friendly and professional without being too in your face like some other places. Half pecking duck and seafood fried rice is a must.
The food taste are terrible. Out of 12 items we ordered, only 2 are good. But the price are the most expensive in Bali for Chinese Food. They need to fix it.
We were in Bali for the Bali Major Dota 2 competition. This is the nearest resto aside from the one inside the hotel that has slow service.
I remember saying this is where I tried my best congee. It's just so good I finished 3 bowls. Their dimsum is also quite good. It's not cheap but it's all worth it. If you are in the are this resto is a must-try.
If ever given a chance to visit Bali again, will go back to this restaurant.
Nice restaurant with very friendly service that can consult us about the food in this chineese restaurant, that seems pretty authentic, at least to us as europeans.
Also Took very good care of the gluten intolerance of my girlfriend. Don't trust the card about this and ask for a specific course if they can do it if you fancy it. Often they can make it possible.
The Food is tasty as well. If you Visit: It's probably the coldest place in the whole resort, bring something warmers to wear for people that freeze fast.
The dim sum chef has changed and Dim sum tasted different. Definitely gone down hill. Disappointed. Rice rolls were especially bad.will skip next time.
For a restaurant in *5 hotel, this restaurant is a bit average. While you can enjoy authentic dim sum (not fusion), they didn't taste that good. Steaming taking a bit too long. And the atmosphere isn't that good either, almost minimally decorated. Their service was great tho, as expected of restaurant in *5 hotel area.
Thoroughly enjoyed our experience in Ah Yat Abalone. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding! Special thank you to BinTang who made my birthday special and fun!
I've lived in HK for most of my life and the dim sum in this place for afternoon yumcha is equivalent to the best I've ever had. The egg custard bun in particular is a must get. The sim mai and prawn dumplings are dense full of seafood. Overall everything I've eaten here was top notch. My comment (not negative) is the dimsum size is on the smaller side. But you can just order more! Pricing is also good value. Even if you don't stay at rimba (or ayana hotel chains), make an effort to come here if you want good sim sum. Atmosphere is relaxing and quiet (which I prefer)
Tempat yg Luas, Bersih dan Nyaman. Makanan nya juga Enak. Disana juga menyediakan Ruangan VIP yg sangat Bagus sekalii. Staf nya juga ramah tamah dan murah senyum.
Amazing! @ food service was fast, all food was tasty 305krp with tax. Best custard bun ever and I don't even like custard. A lot of options to enjoy, go ham it's a buffet, don't go with people who eats reservedly You have to risk maybe not finishing and paying extra per dish. But that's not worth the trouble if you're on holiday
Nice and fresh seafood, little bit pricey but worth it. You don't really want to eat super cheap seafood and end up getting food poisoning or stomach problem right
Dim sum, yum cha, call it what you will, but this restaurant has some of the best I've had anywhere in the world. The dumplings had the most delicate wrappers, and flavoursome and tender fillings. Everything was super cheap. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely worth the trip out here. Highly recommend if you need a dumpling fix while in Bali.
Came twice during our holiday, despite not staying at Rimba. That's how great the meal was!
You come here for two reasons:
1) probably the best dim sum in Bali. Also affordable, about 45k per dish. There is also a dim sum buffet (order from menu) at like 240k, but not worth it unless you are really hungry
2) you want live seafood, cooked Asian style. Good selection, from crabs to prawns to lobster, sea mantis, and grouper fish. And compared to cheaper places on the island (eg Warung Laota) the prices are actually the same or just slightly higher, for a much better dining environment.
Why the 4 out of 5 stars? It is still a pretty pricey meal at the end of the day, for Bali. If you're not fussed with (1) or (2) you can get higher quality meals for cheaper on the island.
