My husband and I are in Bali for our honeymoon. Came here for some authentic Lebanese food like back at home in Lebanon and it is exactly what we got! The look and taste of the food brings you back to our homeland. Everything was beautiful and the atmosphere is so warm and inviting - friendly staff, beautiful owner, absolutely incredible restaurant. Highly recommend coming here for a Lebanese taste!
Overpriced and the meat is over cooked and service is horrible as they’re are rude on top of the they’re expect you to smoke outside with mosquitoes and No aircon
I order chicken Kofta and Hummus and the chicken is really disgusting and very very very salty and it's not real chicken. I don't know what I ate. For the Hummus is good. I'm really disappointed. For the atmosphere is nice and it's in second floor
I ordered from Anda grilled meat, ribs, tabbouleh, and all kinds of appetizers, distinctive and delicious If you desire feathers, do not be far from him
Excellent service and the chef and owner is amazing. Great food, don't hesitate to try the mix grill plate and any salad is great as well. Presentation is fabulous and staff are very welcoming and helpful.
Famous Restoran di Bali, makanan khas Timur Tengah yg luar biasa enak Makan makanan khas Timur Tengah di Aldiwan restauran Bali bikin nagih dan nagih lagi?
The food not like before. It is taste like frozen for long time. Quality of the food is disappointing. I will not come again. I used to visit this restaurant every time i visit bali.
The service and the food was great the only problem that I have with this restaurant is the creamy mushroom soup I’m convinced that it was can soup with chopped mushroom but the kebab and the rice was great.
We ordered lentil soup to start followed by the Al Diwan Mezze and 2 extra mezze dishes. The food was very tasty, in generous portions and left us very full. We sat outside and were lucky to have a cool night with a beautiful breeze. Nice to dine overlooking the hustle and bustle below. Service was friendly and the price was comparable to other establishments. Would recommend this restaurant if in the mood for decent Lebanese food.
We had dinner 28.12, and in the morning had severe food poisoning and go to hospital. At the dinner we have different food: Lamb, grill meat, soup, salads and etc it was okay for taste.
After that we don’t have any food, so it’s definitely after this place.
We told the server we need to get to the airport before ordering. They said they can make it in 15 minutes. Been waiting 45 minutes, received juices and appetizers only. (Our server said sorry they are busy. The fact they have like 3 tables besides us) We want to cancel the food we never received. They denied and offered us take away. That means we still have to wait for the food or pay for something we never received so we can catch our flight.
P. S.the food is either too salty or no favors. The best part is the watermelon juice.
The food was so delicious, full of flavour and fresh. Had a big group and so we each got something different from the menu and everyone was super happy with their meals. I haven't tasted authentic and tasty lebanese food like this in Sydney. It was so good we actually went back a couple times during our time in Bali. Staff and chef super nice and friendly. Definitely would highly recommend.
The food is good, not the best Arabic food or super tasty, but it's good, the staff are friendly and the songs are Arabic. Prices are not worth the quantity.
If you want to discover the middle east flavors and enjoy the traditional warm welcome don't miss this place. The food is delicious the service is awesome. Enjoy the mezze the Lebanese traditional reciepies and start a journey in the middle of Seminyak.
Fancy looking joint with very average food. But outrageously overly priced. Got charged AU$8 for water (!) AU$6 for plain rice (? !) (neither were informed when we ordered) - it’s scandalous and will not recommend anyone!
Wow wow wow I'm from Australia Sydney and this place is hands down nicer then all lebanese restaurants in Sydney it's fresh Amazing and the chef and staff are so friendly ️️
Most beautiful dining experience at al diwan. Highly highly recommend coming! The food was absolutely sensational and authentic. The owner was lovely and you can tell he has a passion for good food. Great vegan + GF options too. & the best felafels I’ve ever eaten in my life! ️
If I could give this place a Higher rating I would! The service, atmosphere, staff, and food was absolutely amazing masha allah. Also met the chef who was lovely. If you are looking for authentic Lebanese cuisine while in Bali Al Diwan is the way to go. As an Australian who has access to Lebanese cuisine in Sydney this place is just as good if not better then what we have back home.
Keep up the amazing work! Have recommended to everyone I know and will continue to do so!
Chic chic chic! We LOVE this place! The MUST-GO Lebanese treasure in the heart of Seminyak. They say Lebanese hospitality is unprecedented for as a culture and what a treat it was to this drink delight courtesy of the owner Hassan! The interior design is so eloquent and the food is nostalgic! A MUST try in Bali
Food was kind of ok yet not close to true lebanese recipes, rice tasted bad, chicken shish tawouq was good, nothing so tasty in this resturant but it remains a choice on an island with so limited good choices of restaurants
Didn't have the food we wanted that was on the menu everytime we have a question we need to wait for the waiter to go back inside the kitchen and come back. The power all turned off on us so we just left
The worst lebanese restaurant I ever ate. The kebab was almist burned the quality of the meat was very bad. The labneh was totally far from what real labneh taste. I think the owner should really modify the kitchen team
Being of Lebanese origin I know and understand what Lebanese food should be and unfortunately this restaurant falls well below my standards, we ordered quiet a bit of food a selection cold mezza and 2 mixed grill platters and we found all the food to be quite bland and really under seasoned, the Shisha was ok but definitely not the best in Bali if you know where to go, having said that the restaurant really presents very well, is clean and the staff were really pleasant.
1) good Lebanese food 2) shisha is of acceptable quality (especially for Bali) 3) waiter are very polite and well dressed 4) beautiful classic interior
Good service and food! (especially the moutabbel). Granted its not the same as eating in the middle east but its the closest thing to it. The shisha is also done well as you can find a lot of places offering shisha in Bali but not as good as this place.
My partner Tarek is of Lebanese heritage and when we spotted this place on our trip to Bali he said we had to go. And go we did 4 times in a 7 day stay. On our 2nd visit we met the owner Ahmed what a chracter he is and so passionate about bringing traditional Lebanese food to Bali. That second visit for dinner Tarek ordered nearly everything on menu what a feast it was Ahmed was eating something not on the menu but made just for him which he insisted we try and share with him beautiful home cooked Lebanese cooked to perfection. We could not eat all the food we ordered but it was packed up and s9ent home with us which we than shared with the staff at our villa who were amazed at the wonderful food. We were also asked to be his guests for the Friday night when he discovered it was my birthday again an exceptional meal followed by a truly decadent cake which he had one of the staff source. Not only is the food amazing but the friendly service from the staff who you can tell enjoy there jobs and aim to please. If you find yourself in Bali you have to visit Al Diwan for a truly memorable experience and dont forget to also check out the rooftop you wont be sorry. And yes visit number 4 lunch before we had to head to the airport and home to Melbourne we know we wont get such terrific Lebanese till we get back to Bali for another trip so had to make another visit to hold us over till next time cant wait. We wish we had something like it at home but what a great excuse for another visit.mmmm
Absolutely impressive in quality and taste. It’s a finer dining atmosphere which I didn’t expect, but thanks for having this type of food here and doing it so well.
Perfect location, excellent decoration, delicious food, halal food testy, but have liquor and alcohol, one of the most expensive restaurants in Bali, portion size more than enough nice view from the window, parking is not easy
This place is just fabulous, we enjoyed it very much. Food was incredible (cuisine is full of fresh ingredients and fantastic taste), not to mention the drinks! The atmosphere was great, and the service was perfect. The shisha lounge is charming (décor is marvelous) and the shisha itself if one of the best ones I have ever tried (double apple). The rooftop is also amazing, having a great view every time of the day. An absolute must visit if you love authentic Lebanese cuisine. Definitely, one of the best places to visit in Bali, highly recommended!
Great place to eat delicious Lebanese food. Lovely atmosphere, very kind owner (Ahmad). I’m just in love with this place. Whenever i come back to bali i’ll visit this place for sure!
Hands down best restaurant in Bali, food delicious, best service like ever. The owner Ahmad supervising the restaurant, he is such a nice person also he gives us recommendations for places to visit.
Great Lebanese food option. Mixed grill platter was on point, flavors were good and meat cooked perfectly. Had the beirut mezze platter and everything on it was delicious. Only downside was both the appetizer and mains came out at the same time, so I would suggest to specify timing if you're particular about that the way I am.
The best Lebanese Cuisine of all Asia even in all Bali. The same like turkey. I felt at home the serving and the peoples were awesome. Friendly. Also the decoratıon was amazıng and the place was super clean. Thank u very much.
Just celebrated my Birthday in Al Diwan, The food was outstanding, we were blown away with the falafel, the lamb Shish kebab was to die for. Thank you for making my special day a great and memorable one.
Outstanding, Bravo to the staff and Owner, Ahmed who showered us with their love and care
Apon having dinner here, I was dissatisfied at the lack of authenticity for Lebanese cuisine. They do not have any idea about Lebanese rice with fried spaghetti, only serve basmati rice. Kibbeh balls were dried out, most likely microwaved on order. Vine leaves not to my liking, not what I’ve grown up with in a Lebanese house. The cucumber yogurt is very watered down.complimentary Leb bread was stale and very thin, You may think complimentary means unlimited, sadly not at this establishment. You will be charged for any extra slices after the first free piece. They only receive two stars for their garlic dip mujaddara. Find another restaurant
