Alas Kedaton

An interesting place in the jungle, which in theory is not that far to travel to. We traveled through the picturesque and varied cozy streets of Balinese settlements among endless temples and rice fields.
At the entrance there were already monkeys sitting right on the road. The navigator led to a closed gate, and the entrance was a little further.
Admission for adults is 30K, for children 10K. There is a huge parking lot and authentic images.
At the entrance we were already greeted by a guide with umbrellas for the whole company. Helped with parking and storage of helmets. We went for a review. Amazing trees, banyan trees, children's playground. Under the canopy, we fed the monkeys by hand; with their soft paws they took peanuts from our hands (the guide takes them with him for free).
Then the excursion continues along picturesque paths among the Shiva temple and ancient trees like in Ankor Wat (Cambodia), which are more than 300 years old.
And the trail leads to another area where you can see bats live. You can feed them, give them delicious tea, take a photo with them yourself or in costume with a professional camera for 70K (they give out very beautifully designed photographs on cardboard). The mice are allowed to fly, and you can have close contact with them. The children were delighted and did not want to leave. The trail then returns to the main buildings. And the guide asks to go to her store, you can buy some souvenirs as a souvenir.
We really enjoyed it, a lot of the kindest and most pleasant memories

Tidak sempat masuk ke area sie. Hanya motoran saja di jalanan alas kedaton karena si adik takut (hehehe). Di jalanan saja monyetnya sudah banyak yang berkeliaran.

Untuk pemerintah kabupaten tabanan tolong lebih di tata lagi taman di perbaiki agar lebih bagus lagi buat kegiatan yang menarik selain melihat monyet agar turis asing tidak kecewa

We were afraid of the aggressiveness of the monkeys and mass tourism at the Monkey Forest in Ubud so we preferred to come here, without regrets!
We were only 2 couples of tourists in the park at the same time, and our tour lasted about 1 hour with a guide who gave us some explanations and accompanied us in our approach to the monkeys.
We saw dozens of them (big ones, small ones, babies) and up close because we were able to feed them.
Indeed at the end the guide took us to her shop and we just bought a little thing to thank her for accompanying us. We actually feel a little “obligated” but at the same time it was normal to do it for us. Finally with our two entries at 30,000 Rp each + the trinket at 50,000 Rp we still get away with it for less than at the Monkey Forest!

Ada pura di tengah kawasan dengan arsitektur kuno, hanya bisa dilihat dari luar. Ada jalan melingkar keliling pura. Ada lokasi outbond dengan atraksi flying fox dan sepeda gantung. Liburan alam murah untuk keluarga

Very nice location if you wanna get closer to monkeys and have nice pictures. It's small park but worth to visit. There are almost no tourists and the monkeys are not aggressive. The staff is friendly and the price affordable. The only negative point is that the way there is a bit complicated to find and there are no street signs.

You need to experience the monkey forest and interactive with monkeys. Do not look the mokeys in the eyes and I won't advice you to feed the monkeys.

Sure you can go to see/feed/take photo with monkey. Lots of them and also cute bats to cudle. Nice though don't be surprised when your guide will turn into pushy seller at the end of the trip.

Tempatnya asri, luas, parkir terjamin yahuuu. Akses masuk mudah pelayanan ramah terus cocok buat keluarga yang ingin menanamkan cinta lingkungan pada anak.atau bahkan waktu keluarga.hanya saja toilet kurang tersentuh dan perlu perawatan agar lebih baik dan banyak lagi dikunjungi wisatawan lokal maupun internasional. Loads of monkeys, also can have a photo with tame fruit bats costing you 60000. You get shown around by a lady with a stick. She leads you around then into her shop & locks the door. No prices on items & try to sell us a fridge magnet for 100000. Would avoid this place very run down, you can see why it wasn't busy.

Its supposed to be fun, but we are keep warned by the guide to be aware with the monkey, and the monkey are a lot.so it little bit scary.we cannot enjoy the moment

And the monkey are scary too, not friendly.hiks

Masuknya bayar 20k perorang, trs nnti ada tour guide yg mendampingi kita, setelah mendampingi, kita di haruskan membeli barang yg ada di toko ibu tersebut, alasnya kecil, cuma bnyk monyetnya

Not that much too see. Then you have to go into the shop. We had to purchase something just so we could get back out.

Pada jamannya tempat wisata ini sangat ramai. Tapi sekarang sudah mulai ditinggalkan. Mungkin karena wisatawan lebih memilih mengunjungi tempat wisata sejenis di kabupaten lain.
Kondisi alas kedaton masih bisa dibilang bagus, beberapa kios pedagang souvenir masih bertahan dan sebagian lainnya sudah ditinggalkan.

Awesome place to see rambunctious monkeys (beware of your belongings, especially glasses as they will jump on you and try to steal them). We also got to see fruit bats and reptiles, with the opportunity to hold and feed them for a small price. They seemed well looked after. If a local offers to take you around, go with them as they'll protect you from the monkeys haha - just make a small purchase in their shop afterwards out of courtesy:)

Tempat wisata yang asri dan alami.recomended untuk wisata keluarga kesini.sayang tempatnya kurang perawatan kelihatannya.

Tempatnya cukup dekat dari pusat kota tabanan
Dan sangat cocok untuk refresing dan juga bisa ngasih makan monyet
