Best surf school I have been to! Nico came to pick me up at my hotel and took me to Padang Padang beach for the lesson. I didn’t have to prepare anything, they landed me the rush guard and the board. The lesson went brilliantly, Nico gave me valuable advice that other schools had failed to give me. It was thus a great, fun, and productive surfing session! Nico stayed with me the whole time observing how I took the waves and tailoring his advice so I could do better each time. At the end of the lesson, he gave me a coconut to drink from. I highly recommend Aloha Bali Surf to any beginner, intermediate, or pro surfer out there! Felt safe the whole time.

If you are looking for a surf camp where you want to feel afterwards, this was worth every penny and want to do it again, then you have come. You create a contact network on whats up with all the surfers on aloha and you can ask anything then they will be there. Aloha surfcamp is professional friendly and sets up with everything. The accommodation is cozy, the food is varied and good but above all, the surfing is excellent. They constantly adapt based on conditions so you get the most out of the surfing.

If you are looking for an authentic Aloha feel in Bali, look no further.
I chose Aloha Bali Surf after receiving Tommy's response to my email, "We are not a school but an experience as surfing is a feeling and a journey more than its levels or a ranking, surfing is pure and an art that is different with each individual. If you're gliding down the wave and smiling that means you're at the top level. " That was exactly what I experienced with Tommy and his team. I felt like i was surfing with my friends more so than with a surf school. Amrul, although relentless, provided very detailed and useful tips especially for beginners. He taught the beginners and reminded/corrected the intermediates on paddling techniques. While sitting and waiting for waves, he taught us not to "wait" for waves but rather how to "search" for the right kind of waves. Danyel provided good instructions on positioning and timing - when to paddle into unbroken waves and how to turn. All in all, I had tons of fun while learning lots. I also got to touch my first wave while riding it. I must say my surfing grew heaps within a single week.
