Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort

Stayed here for 5 days. On top of a cliff, stayed in hotel room ocean view suite. There are lots and lots of stairs.pool was at bottom of stairs! Food was great at the restaurant and the bar.

So its a very very expensive hotel!
Its clean and good service but sometimes to much they want to know everything and ask alot of questions and always trying to sell there spa option or restaurant!
Also when they say on book they give free drinks and food from 12-5 pm not true they give at 12 pm one piece for pineapple, one piece pf watermelon and one piece of the yellow water melon
And then just water not juices
Then a 2 then at 4 and then at 6 pm
But its very small and not alot of options vegetarian!

Amazing! Views were spectacular, rooms were massive and luxurious, staff were so friendly and helpful. Would come back here in a heartbeat

Booked the suite with Jacuzzi.
Very large room and bathroom, complete with all kits, accessories and coffee machine, perfect WiFi reception.
Very kind staff always with a smile, they welcomed us with a welcome drink at reception, a bottle of wine and Balinese specialties in the room.
Top breakfast, a wide choice of savory and sweet dishes, with table service of hot drinks. We ate at the all you can eat Balinese barbecue and Tappanyaki dinners, which were excellent

Very beautiful view from the room, top service, the buffet breakfast was incredible, possibility of renting a scooter from the hotel and very good location, nothing to complain about!

We had been to Bali on numerous occasions but usually to the Nusa Dua area.

We had the privilege of spending five days at this magnificent hotel from 19 June to 23 June 2023 and am writing to congratulate the hotel for the magnificent service rendered by staff starting from the front office manager, Mr Setiawan.

Through his dedication and hospitality he had indeed made our short stay a very memorable one indeed.

Stunning sunset at Anantara Uluwatu ️

If you're in Bali, then you must visit Anantara Uluwatu and experience the sunset. The place offers stunning view of the sunset from a cliff of a mountain.

Delayed check-in for no reason. Except for the inconvenience of having to pay for meals separately at the bar with a billiards table next to the pool, you can see the surfing sea properly and the food is delicious. The price is expensive.

The view of the ocean from my room was fantastic. The cleanliness needed to be improved. I’m allergy to dust. I had a runny nose and sneezing all the time while staying in the room, especially on the bed. Nice staffs with great service.

A must place to stay on. Though their best quality equal to the price but it's worth to stay even just for a night! Free shuttle to some places and free photo session with their photographer. I was staying 3 nights and have no regret. Will come back again if I have the chance.

Great service and rooms, but in dire need of some renovations. Food options very limited, and breakfast a lacklustre affair. A perfectly fine experience, but doesn’t live up to the Anantara brand, or the 5 star promise.

Great place. The lift to the beach doesn't work so you have to walk which is a shame. Rooms are fantastic, breakfast is great and staff are wonderful

Amazing view and best place to relax after exploring the island. Fine food and pool side lounging with the best endless ocean view. Best to stay here towards the end of Bali trip.

If you want to be treated like a king or queen then this is the place, your kids would feel as if it's there house. The staff is so friendly and warm, they really make you feel at home.the rooms are very big, yes very big and spacious. You have 180degree ocean view and this includes the shower. My wife and daughter really enjoyed it. You have your own spa bath also with ocean view.

Anantara Uluwatu Rocks! The Staff are super attentive and simply amazing to be around. Problem solving is a skill and they have it down to a fine art.

Unreasonably overpriced. Good location and beautiful view. We stayed from Jan 6-9. There was no access to the beach. The only elevator to the beach was broken. Staff had different stories/lies to tell, some said not operating elevator due to high tide, some said the elevator part coming from overseas etc. They provide free shuttle/vehicle for a small overcrowded public beach called Padang Padang just 4-5 minutes away that too is not free. You have to pay to go to the beach. Daily tropical fruits as mentioned in our booking were served only the first day. TV reception was bad. We were not happy with the breakfast as well. Oceanview Room and Oceanfront Room is the same thing. Just created a variety by calling two names and jugglery of words. Not worth the price we paid. Disappointed.

If you're looking for high end, luxurious and professional service then this spa is a solid pick. Attended with a group for a hens, booking in a 90 minute Balinese massage and manicure/pedicure. Probably the most gentle, attentive and lengthy manicure I've ever received which even included a foot mask. Massage therapists were skilled and excellent communicators. It obviously comes with an appropriate price tag, and there are definitely more affordable experiences with similar quality service but without the luxurious setting for those searching for alternatives.

This is my sixth Anantara Vacation Club experience, the great points including the fantastic infinity pool with a 180 degrees view into the ocean. The room also including a jacuzzi with the view as well.

All three restaurants are very good, but the Teppanyaki restaurant would be the best, a little bit of show and fire everyone loves it.an improvement can be the menu, it should be more towards a Japanese teppanyaki way of selection of food.

The bathroom does feel a bit old and bad air ventilation therefore an over four star for this beautiful resort!

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was amazing. The staff are extremely friendly and are willing to do anything within their power to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The food within the resort is amazing and is similarly priced to dining out in Sydney.

There are two pools with an amazing ocean view, as well as an elevator down to the beach (which is amazing).

The resort is approx 10/15 min walk to Padang Padang. You can find a large number of cafes, restaurants and bars to relax at if you’re looking to venture outside of the resort.

We will definitely be returning to Anantara as soon as possible!
