Anusara Luxury Villas

Small hotel, original concept; the rooms are all small villas with their own private pool. The restaurant is quite limited in their food options. The hotel does provide a free shuttle service to Ubud center, which is a 10-15 minute drive. The manager and staff is very friendly!

Came here for our anniversary they gave us an amazing villa and a cake and the place was beautiful, staff were very nice and it’s away from the hustle and bustle. Beds comfy.

Private pools are very cozy and loved the bath tub as well.

Highly recommended as a first stop to arrive, Anusara also offers free transit to Ubud.

The travel tours can also be used from there, the guides are local and will accompany you on the tour and explain each spot.

A bit off the beaten track, but that is the beauty of it, quite and serene. There is a limited shuttle service to Central Ubud or the desk will organise a car or use Grab.
Our villa was enormous, large living space and bathroom. The pool area is also huge, backing onto the forest with complete privacy. The restaurant is adequate for breakfast, but only serving 7 villas it has a basic menu.
Staff are fantastic. Will definitely come again.

We stayed in Anusara for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. The villas were clean and modern. Staff and service was excellent. Dewi was especially nice and told us a lot about Bali and Ubud area. We would definitely recommend this place for people looking to relax and to be well looked after.

Our 6 nights stay at Anusara has been amazing. Located a short distance from Ubud city center, you really get to enjoy the true Bali. Everything from the food, the service to the shuttle service worked perfectly.

We absolutely loved our stay here! While it is a bit remote, that's actually a plus since it is really hectic down in Ubud city center (the traffic is unreal!). If you're looking for somewhere quiet to relax and unwind, this is the place to be. The villa itself was beautiful and while the private pool was a bit smaller than I expected it was more than enough for me and my spouse. The bed was comfortable and being in your villa felt very secluded (i.e. No shared interior walls and high exterior walls between you and the neighboring villa).
The staff was really what made this a 5-star stay though. They went above and beyond to meet your needs and make sure you felt welcome and comfortable. On our first full day there we accidentally left our bug spray in our driver's car (I highly recommend hiring a private driver to take you around - I meant it when I said the traffic is hectic!). We went out on a limb and asked the front desk if they had any bug spray we could use and they gave us a whole bottle to keep.
They do discourage the use of grab delivery drivers for food, which initially put us off, but the restaurant that they have on site was so good and reasonably priced that we wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere else for dinner anyways (the rib eye and chicken cordon blue were excellent!).
The ant situation is real (you are in a more rural area) but if you're careful not to leave food or drink out you should be fine.
It was a bit more expensive than our other hotels on this trip so we only stayed two nights, but it was well worth it and I wish we had stayed a third night! There's so much to do in and around Ubud.

Yes, yes, and yes! Just book this place and be done with your worries. Our favorite hotel during our stay in Bali. The kitchen is amazingly talented, and we loved our in-room dining experiences. Excellent cuisine, quality ingredients, meats cooked to juicy perfection, and delivered hot. The management, staff, and shuttle drivers were outstanding. We did not want to check out. Aside from the fact that we highly recommend this place, let's mention a few potential drawbacks. Please note that there's active construction next to one side of the Villas. This led to an obstructed view for us, as opposed to the jungle and rice terraces that we thought were part of the experience. Instead, it was a tall bamboo wall. For us, the entire Ubud region had natural beauty. We, therefore, were not too upset with the construction, but we wanted to mention it. Last, but, not least, the location is a bit of a drive from Ubud center, but their shuttle service will take you back and forth with great care. If you book this place, you will not regret it. These villas are amazing! Very clean, quiet and peaceful! Location is surrounded by rice fields making it excellent for a nice morning walk or photo shoot! Rooms and pool are big and clean as well. Staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast is perfect to start the day. They make everything fresh including lunch and dinner! Would definitely come back and stay here again!

Had an amazing week here! Very private and really friendly and accommodating staff. My flight was late and they made arrangements so I could get in after hours. Thank you so much team for a great week will definitely see you guys next time!

My wife and I stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon and we couldn't recommend Anasura enough. The room was absolutely stunning with a spectacular view of the rainforest from the private infinity pool. The food was also delicious, but the thing that really stood out was the staff who were incredible throughout. This was especially true of Wayan who was so friendly, frequently driving us into and back from central Ubud and even spent half the day with us giving a guided tour of the surrounding area, telling us all about the history of the sites and the meanings of the ceremonies and statues in the temples, it was great. If you're looking for a luxury stay in Ubud your couldn't do better than Anasura.

What can I say - from start to finish we have received nothing but 5 star service from them.
If I could I would rate them even higher. Ourr flight was late over an hour, arriving at midnight and our driver Agung patiently waited for us. All the staff were incredibly proactive and remembered every little detail. Food is cooked fresh every morning, all delicious.

Room is stunning! On top of that the massage they provided is top notch too. We will stay here again - please do yourself and book this for your next trip to Bali!

Staying in your villa with a private pool a great experience. It's in the midst of paddy fields, being with nature. Great family time you can have.

Myself and my husband recently stayed for 4 nights. We absolutely loved the Anusara villas. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. The staff are wonderful and will help you with anything you need. The room, the comfortable huge bed and private pool were all great, clean and exceeded our expectations. The setting in amongst the rice fields and jungle makes for a very relaxing, beautiful trip. Whilst a short drive out of central Ubud there is a regular free shuttle and taxis are very cheap and super easy to sort or you can hire a scooter. We very much hope to visit again and would highly recommend to anyone.

This place was amazing! The private pool villas are absolutely beautiful and you won't want to leave you room. The service was excellent, from the moment you walk in they take care of you.

They offer plenty of shuttle times to get you in and out of Ubud and they have tours you can book. They also offer bike rentals

Only problem is the food is just OK.

What is best is that with 8 fantastic private pool villas, the staff get to know you by first name, and are waiting with your key when you return to their lobby which includes a scrumptious restaurant serving western and Indonesian foods. This is a must stay hotel if you're lucky enough to get a booking. Very exclusive, yet surprisingly light on the wallet.

An amazing villa with the nicest friendliest staff working at all times. The villa is gorgeous and the jungle view from the window in the early morning and relaxing pool side cooling off is so relaxing

There was absolutely nothing to do in the area, and the place was very far from any city or attraction. This place would be great if you are just looking to hang on the resort, but if so their food was also very sad. We were the only people staying there at the time which gave the place an eerie feeling. It was weird to us that no one at all would be there as we were staying during the busy season. Most other hotels were completely booked. Also, they use an iPad system to order food and no one answered our orders or requests. Luckily I caught one of the staff walking outside after an hour of waiting, only to find out they did not see our order.

Really loved our stay here. The people are amazing and the rooms have plenty of space and privacy. We ordered room service just about everyday and the food was excellent.

The outdoor shower is amazing, plenty of water and plenty of water pressure.

Very clean and very comfortable beds and nice and quiet.

Highly recommended.

Amazing location, and near ubud center. The people are very friendly and cooperative.

They believe that small lizards should be in each house to protect them from insects and bugs, so don’t be afraid if you hear noises in the evening because they are not harmful and they wont get anywhere near you

Absolutely amazing quiet location. We arrived late but once we got to the airport the transport service had our names and were ready to take us to our resort. The drive was about 1.5 hours to get to Anusara. Once we arrived we were greeted with fresh juice and access to our room. We even arranged for our massage. The room was exactly as the pictures. Huge bed, outdoor pool, 2 outdoor showers and a large soaking tube. We immediately felt the vacation begin. In the morning we enjoyed traditional Balinese breakfast and fresh juice. We headed for our day excursion. Upon return the pool was rrefreshing and the westher was perfect. Usman and the staff were excellent and I would highly recommended this location of you are looking to get away from the crowds and enjoy the serenity of Bali.

The villa is perfect, very comfy bed, nice swiming pool and the staff are trully outstanding, all of them are so friendly and attentive and care about you having good stay with them, the food in the restaurant also very good.

The view of the rice paddies was incredible. The pools and rooms were clean, and the staff were incredible, helping us with every step of our holiday! There was always cold Bintang available, and the food was wonderful. Breakfast was excellent (try the nasi goreng), and dinner was wonderfully prepared. If you have any questions, the front desk (as well as all the staff) were very knowledgeable!
