Super delicious food has here. Have been to I I’d many many times and always walked past this place … was so surprised by the selection and quality of the dishes.delicious
I went to this restaurant following reviews because the menu seemed original. We had the meat and vegetarian satay menu. In the end, it's nothing special. It's rather tasteless, the place is a bit of a tourist trap and it's quite expensive for what we are served. There are other restaurants around that are more worth eating there.
We sat down for a happy hour, in all the bars where they have happy hour you pay for a cocktail and get 2. The waitress tells us that to take advantage of the happy hour we have to have either daiquiri or caipirinha, even if we wanted another What. When paying I discovered that with happy hour we had to pay for the two cocktails and we would have the third offered. In short, I paid for the two cocktails even though I couldn't choose what I wanted.it was misleading communication in my opinion, nothing serious, but I left dissatisfied.
We just keep coming back here. The food is the best in Ubud. Best saté by far. Great place for dinner or appetizer and a drink on a hot day. The price is very reasonable for a tourist.
Great food, especially the satay. The butterfish satay was exceptionally good. Service was excellent and the ambiance was wonderful with the ability to peer out on to one of busiest intersections in town but far enough removed you don’t feel up in it
Sizzling hot stone sate. Fantastic cocktails, and on rainy days a dinner show (across the street) featuring balinese dance and full gamelan orchestra. The food at arang is amazing. Try the sate sample plaster for an assortment. But order and extra butter fish. 10/10. Having or second meal tonight.
Needed some snacks before my massage. I had a few small portion of sates and sparkling water. The sates were amazing to be honest. But the vibe wasn’t there. I’d love to try next time if I wasn’t a solo traveler
Food and service was amazing. I came back for a second time because I wanted to try all the items on the menu. Highly recommend the tuna nachos and dumplings platter. If our trip wasn’t cut short, I’d come back for a third time!
Not as good as before. Food is cold, need to warm up using hot stone. Price wise, it is More expensive.if the food is good, it’s okay. But the standard dropped.
The food was excellent. We went here twice. The first night they forgot one dish and thus came out a late. I might have over reacted and started to upset when some of the staff denied not having forgotten it when it was clear they did. The manger came out and apologized and explained they were understaffed as the tourist only recently picked up. We returned the very next day and the service was excellent and they were properly staffed. Good to see the people working hard to improve. I had the ribeye and my wife had the grilled fish. Both were excellent. Prices are reasonable for such high quality food and service.
Absolutely delicious food - had the sate platter because I was looking for some awesome flavors and they did not disappoint. The platter delivers tuna, duck, steak, fish, chicken and pork belly with 4 sambals! To close the night we couldn't resist the coconut creme brule.one of our favorite meals in Ubud.
Cool spot on a bustling street. Tried the satay platter for variety. Meats could have been cooked better. Also got a pitcher of some coconut cocktail, no flavour, just trying too hard with some edible confetti in the glass (vanilla coconut, charcoal lemon slice).
Best food in Ubud! Really well cooked steak and the ribs fell off the bone it was beautiful. Amazing value for money too! $38 total for drinks, steak and ribs! Highly recommend
Delicate dishes and flavors. The staff is highly trained in service. Try the duck and as many other dishes as you can. Those flavors will surely be unforgettable to me. Congrats to the chef!
This is awsome place. Every sate was taste really good. Especially the seasoning was wonderful. Tiny different of seasonings brought so much delicious dishes. The "Tuna noodle" was the taste of heaven. If you visit here, please please try the tuna noodle. You may not regret!
What a great place to beat the heat with some shade, delicious satay and nasi goreng. Super friendly staff and did I mention the amazing satay. I had a lamb one and it was yummy. I was there on a nice Saturday afternoon and they had live music. Super cool hearing some Johnny Cash Ring of Fire all the way down here. Definitely will be back.
Was pretty good. Would stick to sate selection as it was great and they even bring a hot block to cook it more if you want. The appetizer/starters were heavily fried and not worth getting. They also had some love performer singing, but he was way too loud to have a conversation with people around
Tempat kecil, staf ramah. Td saya pesan sate arang isiny aterdiri dr sate bbi, ayam, udang, salmon, bebek, dagng sapi. Tp bebeknya kosong.digntng udang.klo ga bs makn bbi, kt jg bs mnta gnti. Penyajian baik, bersih dan cantik. Untuk rasa standart. BUKAN rasa yg ketika kita makan akan mau lagi dtng dan dtng lagi. Harga 190 rb isi 6 sate +nasi disajikan dengn 3 jenis cocoln. Ada kustikannya ketika st dtng jam 5 sore.suaranya bgus.
Stopped by for lunch, the frozen berries sangaria is amazingly refreshing and fruity after long burning walk around ubud town. Food are also in great quality, very satisfied meal.
Ate too many Sate here, they were all delicious. Great happy hour drink deals too. A little bit expensive, but it’s elevated Sate, so to be expected. Enjoyable to get to experience a local taking Indonesian cuisine and playing with it a little.
Really enjoyed the Sate platter and crispy roast duck. Now the sambal sauce was a little bland, so we asked for the hot stuff, which they did indeed have in the back and was too hot for me. But by mixing the spicy sauce with the other sambal sauces, that hit the spot.
Food was decent and tasty without blowing taste buds away. Few of the sates were a bit dry The cooling system wasn't great either, and prices were tourist price.
Great food and there was an awesome street artist when i was there who made the experience even better. The staff is nice and friendly and danced on the music the entire night!
This is a great place. Good service and good food. A point of difference related to the branding is the wall of old photos. I was especially impressed with the photo of the first President Sokarno with US President JF Kennedy.
Satay with a twist. It's tasty but it's definitely more expensive than the street satay. I still prefer my street satay with peanut sauce. The sweet potato chips are lovely. Ordered the octopus salad, pork belly sate, pork sate and the chips.
