Arma Museum & Resort

Amazing resort. It is so big and has all these little wonderful places within it. You see something new every day staying there. The villa we stayed in is amazing and so beautiful. I highly recommend staying at Arma.

Beautiful property in the traditional style in the center of Ubud. Great service with breakfast delivered to your villa. The room felt a little too small for the price compared to other properties in Bali. But if traveling with little luggage and don’t spend time in the villa it works bc the location is very central for Ubud. But if you are looking for enjoying some relaxing time in the hotel I think this is not the best option.

Tempat ini bener2 alam banget.kalo tempatnya sih bagus, hijau dan alam banget.

Tanpa pembatas apapun langsung ke alam (sawah) trus dalemnya juga luas banget.

Tempatnya bagus, indah tp untuk aku org indonesia yg takut serangga dll panik duluan.model kamarnya Balinese modern gitu.

Very nice hotel. The pool villas are very large rooms and the pool is beautiful.
All very Balinese.
It is somewhat far from the center of Ubud (about 25-30 minutes walk from the monkey forest).
Rooms somewhat neglected (some chips)

Clean rooms, fresh bedding. Bathroom (tropical countries, so it looks a little different, the fight against fungus is still ongoing). Amazing place. Although in the center it is quiet and peaceful (only the cicadas are loud:). Worth recommending.

If we could give more stars we would. Service and accommodation on a different level. Complex is outstanding with free afternoon tea and superb restaurant. There is absolutely nothing negative about the arma. Stunning.

It is worth staying here at least a day, as the property is incredibly beautiful and relaxing. The staff is also very friendly.

I love this peaceful spot in central Ubud that feels like you’re not in a busy city. It’s such a beautiful gem and their villas are FABULOUS. I’ve returned here again and again and just booked my latest trip there. Ihighly recommend it

Amazing museum, best in Bali for sure. Been there more then 10 yes ago and then again in 2022. Perfect maintenence by the staff, which is welcoming, private exposition well displayed.

Words cannot express enough how magic, unique, beautiful, true Ubud this resort is. The grounds are just amazing, something incredible everywhere you look from the rivers, rice fields, 2 x pools, statutes, restaurant. Location is amazing with yummy restaurants in close walking distance and close to sightseeing spots. A beautiful buffet breakfast. The staff are incredible, nothing is too much and they are always willing to help. I wish everyone could stay here when in Ubud. Just a beautiful resort. Hope to be back really soon.

My wife and I went to Bali for a 10 day trip and this was by far the best place! Its such an amazingly beautiful place! Its in the heart of Ubud just a few minutes walk from the Sacred Monkey forest and nearby all the other tourist attractions like the Tegenungan waterfall and the Tegallalang rice terrace. But even better is that this place itself could be a tourist attraction. Its rich in culture, has a great restaurant, good pools and has its own rice patties. When you stay here, you also get free admission to the Arma Museum as well. Definitely go check it out, its worth seeing. I highly recommend booking your stay here. Enjoy!)

UPDATE: This place was so great we ended up coming back a second time!

This was the best stay during our 2 month honeymoon in Bali! There were so many amazing things about this hotel, here's a list of our favorites.

- The villa with the private pool was a STEAL for the price. It was just divinely decorated, spacious, and very private. Certainly made for the most romantic nights of our honeymoon.

- They left us beautiful honeymoon details, including a decoration with a heart felt note!

- The grounds were incredible! Everywhere felt peaceful and ancient, it felt like being in a relaxing retreat in the past.

- The Museum attached to the hotel and free of charge for guests was a beautiful surprise! We got to see live artists working on their craft, and some incredible works or art displayed all over.

- The staff was extremely helpful and just wanted enjoy our time with us. Everything felt genuine, they even wanted to take photos with us because of how much we were enjoying our time there. The owner and founder of the museum and hotel walks the grounds constantly tending to the plants, he never says that he is the owner, just likes to pass as a simple gardener, but then engages you in passionate conversations about how nature is art and art is nature. You can tell that this place is the joy of his life! We also spend the whole day with our driver Katut, who was just such a joy and generous man!

- Finally the food and drink prices for the hotel are of the highest quality and very competitive with the rest of the nice restaurants in Ubud, we reccomend the candle lit dinner and the floating breakfast, along with all of the meals made to order directly to your room.

Seriously, we will remember this place forever and will rave about it to anyone visiting Ubud!

The hotel was definitely beautiful but was not taken care of at all, it might’ve been the management or something to do with the time we went but it definitely felt like it was not well taken care of even though it was in a beautiful location the place felt historically balanced but I would definitely not recommend staying here. The room was very dark the floor was slippery they were insects everywhere mosquitoes all night the bathroom was full of ants and the staff were not very helpful regarding any specific dietary needs also their main restaurant was closed.

One of the best hotels i ever being. Beautifull. A litle paradise into ubud town. And into bali. Out of the tipical tourist route. Big rooms very nice service. And for not many people. So it is like to be in your own paradise. We being almost on our own most of the time. They have taci service.and a beutifull museum that helps to balineese artist

Museum lukisan yang luar biasa, tempat istirahat dan tempat makan serta tempat yang bener bener BALI

Quite possibly the most beautiful place I've ever been to. We had our wedding here, and not only was it handled superbly by the team, the whole resort itself is incredible. Staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. The museum has some fantastic and interesting pieces, you must at least spend an afternoon here, and if you can stay here as well.

We stayed two nights for our exploration of Ubud. On the plus side the location is outstanding. The grounds and gardens are superb. We loved the artistic vibe and the Arma museum/gallery is by far the best in Ubud. The pool was lovely, the breakfast very good and the service excellent. On the downside, the room was a little spartan - little room to unpack - and most bizarre of all, it only had a bath with a ‘telephone’ shower that didn’t even reach high enough to stand under it. I called reception upon arrival to ask for a room with a shower to be told that they were all like this. Perhaps the villas in the grounds are more modern? But for us in the humidity and heat of Ubud where you want at least two showers a day this was a significant omission. The extras, such as drinks and the spa were overpriced but excellent alternatives are freely available in town so this wasn’t an issue. Overall though it deserves its 5 stars. It is an oasis of calmness and serenity. We would go back.

Interesting art, lovely grounds, good tea. Especially enjoyed the modern collection. Worth the price of admission.

Terrible place to stay, AC didn't work and we had to shift 4 rooms to finally find out in which room it works.

The workshops are great and educational, art exibits are wonderful, nightly shows/folklore are lively and entertaining, nice grounds, and to top it all, staff members are very friendly and polite. Love this place!

Almost like a set from tomb raider - very unusual place with otherworldly appearance. Nice breakfast and free afternoon tea with pandan pancakes. Very nice.

A sprawling place that includes a museum and many secluded spots for quiet contemplation. They also host the "Ubud Jazz Festival" here each year.

A little pricy at 100000IDR per adult, but entrance fee includes a cup of tea or coffee. The real value in visiting this place goes beyond the art, it's the magnificent gardens and tranquil setting that I enjoyed most

Tempat ini sangat luas sekali, sudah bertahun-tahun menjadi venue untuk event Ubud Village Jazz Festival. Untuk museum nya diisi dengan berbagai karya menarik yang mungkin bisa dibilang “memanjakan” mata. Untuk area parkir juga luas.

Fun fact: tempat ini pernah didatangi Mantan Presiden Amerika Serikat Bapak Barrack Obama beserta keluarga saat berlibur di Ubud, Bali.

This place is very spacious, has for years been a venue for the Ubud Village Jazz Festival event. The museum is filled with a variety of interesting works that might be considered "spoil" the eyes. Parking area is also wide.

Fun fact: this place was visited by former US President Mr. Barrack Obama and his family while on vacation in Ubud, Bali.
