I recommend with my eyes closed! Easy appointment booking by email and they respond quickly, communication was clear and friendly. On the day of the tattoo I was very well received and the result lived up to my expectations! Very fine and precise work which was done very gently. In addition, the team wrote to me a few days later to get news of the healing and that's rare, we don't have the impression of being a simple number like in many tattoo parlors. In summary; you can trust them and go there with your eyes closed!

I was met by the manager, a girl who didn’t tell me her name.

and as soon as he left, she began to be rude for no apparent reason, since I asked standard questions
For example, is it possible to see what tattoos were done by master Nastya?
and saying that choosing a master won’t help me, and no one will help

When I said that I then need to talk to a higher manager because she is not doing her job as a manager and is rude to the client, she said that she would not tell her name, she would not tell any other managers

I said that I would write a review about this case because both masters, clients, and studio owners should know about it
She called it terrorism)

I wanted to take a picture of her because in a public place managers who provide services to clients can take pictures and film

Would highly recommend Babayaga if you want to get a new tattoo while in Canggu! Great communication before the appointment, very clean shop, friendly people. They take a lot of time to talk about your ideas and to create the design. The tattoo artist is amazing in creating little pieces of art with the finest lines. Even the aftercare has been well thought out!

It was my first time getting a tattoo and I can't think of a better studio than Babayaga. Dennis was the artist who patiently worked alongside me to conceptualise the design from scratch while keeping in mind aesthetically what would look the best on me. It was a very complex piece of art that he worked on in under an hour which I liked on the very first go without needing further iterations. He was mindful of the timelines as I had to take a flight the same day without feeling rushed. The studio is clean and use high quality products and they also give you aftercare creams and instructions - they also stayed in touch to check in on me on how the tattoo was healing! If you're in Bali and want to get your first tattoo, I would highly recommend Babayaga.

I followed their account on insta for the last couple of months and just got two fineline tattoos with Pasha.he was just amazing. Listened to my ideas attentively, took his time to propose designs with different sizes and locations, and then was done with the tattoo in no time. Very pleasant guy as well. Highly recommended

I have many tattoos from different countries and this has been hands down the best art work I have had done to date. Including the best service and experience in getting a tattoo, so professional, hygienic and all of the staff were so welcoming, making me feel at ease with the process. I could not recommend this place more highly, anyone staying in Bali should go to Babayaga tattoos, attention to detail and quality was impeccable and outstanding, could grasp my concept and deliver exactly what I had in my mind…. Dissapointed and upset about the experience I had today at Babayaga. The receptionist was rude, impatient and unkind. She was only interested in the overpriced 2.6 million minimum price. Just some advice for you - you and your attitude represent the whole business and based on the interaction I have had with you today, you are tainting the beautiful balinese culture.

Yesterday I had my appointment for small swallow tattoo. The shop was great. Very clean, no problem to make some adjustments and good aftercare information. I love my tattoo as a memory of my trip to Bali. Ksenya is a great artist

I've never been spoken to as rudely as I was when I walked in here and enquired about getting a tattoo. So disappointing as I'd researched them and was excited to get tattooed here. No chance, the receptionist was the rudest person I've ever encountered and I literally tossed the business card in the bin the moment I left. Getting a tattoo is a big deal and it's a privilege to permanently mark a person. You are grossly overpriced and need some serious lessons in customer service.

I can highly recommend this studio! I went in there not exactly knowing how to describe how I wanted the tattoo to look like and I got exactly what I had in my head. All of the artists are very skilled and patient and will help you to get exactly what you want. The studio is very clean and in a central location. Would go back for sure!

Had a design made up by Max at Babayaga. It was so good to get something designed by someone so talented. With all my Tatts I’ve wanted the artist to add their own niche to it. I am not an artist so it’s great having this advice.
Anyway the tattoo is brilliant and I love it. If you’re looking for one of those cheap bali tatt joints, this is not the place.
There’s a minimum spend which is a fair bit higher than anywhere I know, both Bali and Australia. However the artwork is definitely worth it. The fine lines and dot work are amazing.
All the staff were exceptionally friendly. The place is sterile and nice and cool inside. They use surgical wraps instead of glad wrap (well for mine they did anyway-it was only small). You get a small tub of cream to use once the wrap comes off and instructions on the back of the bag. It was a very professional outfit that’s for sure. I’ll be back!

I walked into Babayaga today unannounced and mostly unprepared, with only a vague idea of what I wanted to get done. This was my first tattoo ever, so I was also quite nervous! The team at Babayaga were amazing from the very first moment, fitting me into their schedule in only 30min and being very attentive and answering all of my questions. Pavel was super patient and listened to me carefully, he took his time to work on the design and discuss the size and placement with me until I was satisfied. The tattoo itself was quicker and less painful than I expected, and my shark looked perfect after it was finished. I absolutely loved the experience and can really recommend this studio! Thank you!

If you like the Siberia coldness, this salon is for you. The guys are good at what they do, but you will not get a smile or a talk around your tattoo.
First time an artist don't give me suggestions even when asked for, anyway, great tattoo, bad experience.

Today I went to Babayaga Tattoo Studio in Canggu, Bali. When I arrived I met my tattoo artist, his name was Denis. He was friendly and kind, he helped me to find the best design of a palmtree as a tattoo on my back. After one time drawing it was directly the perfect one for me. It was fine lined and a very beautiful design. When we decided to do the design, he put the tattoo on my back, so that I could see how it looks like. It was absolutely perfect and I decided to do it. He prepared all the stuff very good and it was all very clean, that’s what I like, because I think it’s very important to see that a tattoo shop is clean and nice. Denis started with my tattoo and he was finished in 30-40 minutes, I looked in the mirror and I was so happy with my new palmtree tattoo as memory of my big trip to Indonesia! After we were finished the shop took some pictures of it and they explained how to care correctly for the tattoo, they also gave me a aftercare package, what was included in the price.
