Babi Guling Bu Ari

First time since I'm move to Bali, babi guling bu Ari, the first babi guling I eat. I love that

This store has a very large space with a very large parking area as well. The taste of the food is also delicious. The price of food here for one portion is 25,000. But I suggest the owner to adding a toilet door and also cleaning it so that visitors feel more comfortable and safe. This place is also easy to find with good road access.

Comfort bali food, if you bored with babi guling you can try this one. Its a bit different and the crispy pork was delicious also.

The taste is not bad. A lot of locals come here too
But I have a hard time chewing the part of the fried meat haha.
Since it's local, you have to take hygiene into consideration. Still, it looks clean. I paid 20k for it.

Karena makan malam, jadi kulit nya udah habis, walau tanpa kulit gak kalah enak dengan warung babi lain pada umumnya,

Pelayanan bnr2 ga ramah, merendahkan pembeli. Kl emg ada minimal order, kasi aja tulisan, daripada hrs merendahkan pembeli

Super first try of babi guling. Whilst travelling around over the last few days, I had noticed the golden pigs in glass cabinets, presented to the streets as we scooted by, so I needed to sample some for myself.
There are a number of places dotted around Ubud so, without a recommendation, I relied on the next best way to find good spot; check if the locals are eating there. I spotted Buk Ari, already with about 10 scooters parked up in the ample parking area - bingo!
I ambled past the already familiar swine cabinet and in to the dining area, large communal tables with bench seating. After some awkward motioning, I finally got the message that I take a seat to be served and I chose the ‘special’, which arrived in minutes.
I was not disappointed - the portions were more than adequate, pork roasted and fried, a fresh ginger and chili sambal, blood sausage, herb salad, a small bowl of broth plus rice, and two types of crackling.
At 45000IRP/4.50AUD it is quite reasonable and very satisfying. Add a bottle of water for 5000IRP/0.50AUD and that is an inexpensive meal-deal or get it to go for even less (very popular with locals).
It will not be for everyone but it is a great experience outside the comfort zone, provided you like pork. I loved it.jP

Arrived about 6pm, place was empty except for a few take seats to be served. Service was awful, hygiene suspect (food served with bare hands, no washing between customers, lid left off massive rice barrel, properly mangy dog wandered in and up to our table). Meat was tough, sausage like cardboard, skin like plastic. Very disappointed - something has changed dramatically here based on other reviews

Makanan enak, porsi pas harga bersahabat. Sempatkan mampir kalau main ke ubud. Recomended kuliner!

A definite miss. Have to completely disagree with other reviews here I’m confused if we went to the same restaurant. Tiny portion size, cold meat, rubbery skin, couldn’t take more than a few bites. Much better places to go. Dirt and rubbish all over the floor should have been a giveaway - won’t return

It's really good because it's a lot authentic than the Babi Guling Oka in Ubud. Local Balinese comes here to buy takeaway as it is cheaper to buy takeaway than to eat there.

Good, with a very local feel, inexpensive and of course fresh and quick.it’s not my favorite but it’s quite good.careful with the chili!

Babi gulingnya enak sekali, terasa sangat rumahan. Kuahnya gurih, dagingnya lembut dan empuk. Ada sosisnya juga. Harga cukup murah untuk porsi yang mengenyangkan.

Warung Babi Guling dengan tempat duduk yg luas dan parkir yg lumayan luas.
Rasa makanan lumayan enak, seporsi lengkap dengan kuahnya jika makan disana serta pelayanannya ramah.
Cuma untuk Toiletnya kurang bersih dan tidak ada pintu.

One of the best be guling i ever tried in Bali (which I haven't tried that much) the soup tatier than other warong and they give generous amount of meat if you order the special selection. The difference among the menu is the amount of meat added.

Is a local Warung, very clean, well set out with inexpensive traditional and tasty Babi Guling. Bottled non alcoholic drinks and some in house juices. Nice to experience local food.

I tried the special one, portion is great, but taste is average. Place is huge, parking lot is also spacious, located on the main street easy to find. Price is quite fair.

Nice warung, perfect for some guling while coming back from the ricefield. Owner does not speaks English, but considering the small menu it has not been an issue. Good place and tasty meal
