We had quite a weird experience in the ceramics class.

Our teacher was a very friendly guy who normally worked in the cafe. He showed us once how it was done, and then let us on the wheel. After we did one try on the wheel- where he gave a bit of guidance- he went back to working in the cafe for the remaining 1,5 hour of the class and we were left alone. When we asked at the end of the class why this was, he told us a colleague from the cafe was sick that day. Of course we understand this, but then the class could better have been cancelled, because it was not really a class after all but just self practice (which is impossible when you do it for the first time)

During the full 2 hours, the owner (?) of the shop was talking to some other people in the cafe very loud about crypto, investments, and huuuuge amounts of money. It was hard to concentrate on the wheel, and gave a weird and awkward vibe.

Good to know it took almost 4 weeks until the pieces were ready for pickup and the glazing was a bit messy. But they packed the pieces nicely so a gojek could pick them up for me.

Cool vibe ceramic studio. Everything you need is there! Make sure to take a porridge and a matcha! They also sell some nice pieces to add to your collection.

I spend a wonderful time there, learning how to create nice coffee cup with clay. Owners are amazing peoples who love sharing, smile and spread love together, hope I will be back soon cause moments likes that are just so good for health

The best ceramics class i've ever been to! David is entertaining, interesting and intelligent. Not only did we create some beautiful ceramic cups, but we played the guitar, enjoy local bali coffee and yummy pastries. I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn ceramics from a true master and have lots of fun as you do it!

We decided with my friend to do a ceramic class while in Canggu and we are so happy we did. David is a nice host and teacher. Would recommend to anyone wanted to learn the basics of pottery and have a try in something new. Sampa Jumpa!

Worst experience. The class was good but then they said it'll take 2 weeks to color our pottery but it's already two months and they are not ready! Total disappointment

A creative experience with a passionate guy Dave in a setting conducive to creativity. This aint your usual ceramics class. Its authentic, genuine, original and unique, just like the wizard man who leads it! Daves’ small classes with his original approach to ceramics made it an informative memorable space in time walking away with our own pieces forged. BONUS!
