Bali Dynasty Resort

Nice amenities and location. Room is quite dated, not sure with the other types. Clean and comfortable. Venue is family friendly so expect lots of kids in the area.

We stayed for 5 nights as a family of 4. Fantastic resort, has multiple pools and a separate kids pool with a large slide. My 2 kids had a blast every day playing there, life guards were attentive and we could order drinks/food there! Live music played every night and they have themed dinners, we did only 1 night and was good. The only reason I took 1 star out is because of the indian restaurant which is shown to be part of the resort, it is managed separately and we had specials where if we had meals in the resort restaurants, kids would be 50% off and under 5 would be free. Problem was, this place is not considered for this.

I came here for the pool, but compared it to Water Bomb. The hotel itself is also average. Bunk beds may be fun for children.

I’ll get my one complaint out of the way. And it’s a small thing really, because it about a program most resorts don’t even have: a kids stamp collection thing. But getting the stamps was kind of confusing and annoying because the descriptions makes it sounds like you can get them from using any motel service in any area of the motel. But later were told it’s only for services you pay for but then you don’t even get a stamp at that location, you have to go to the front desk or restaurant. And the kids loved the ice creams but we’re disappointed by the final prize (they were hoping for a toy or treat, not water bottle and bag). But despite my lengthy description of it, it really was a very small matter compared to how awesome the whole rest of the resort was. Cool, clean rooms, great pool and water slide, prime location, great breakfast selection and tasty food for the most part (weren’t super impressed with the Chinese restaurant Sunday lunch). And fantastic spa and a *free* kids club to supervise the kids while you get a massage! Also, a free photo shoot with 1 free framed pic (you can pay for more, and that isn’t very cheap but the quality is very good). We enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely stay again!

An amazing resort which provides comfort at your fingertips. Packed with amenities it is the perfect place to unwind and relax while on vacation. Highly recommended

The food in all restaurants is delicious. Staff are very friendly and the location is close to shops and restaurants.

Ablsolutely loved Dynasty. Our kids where more than happy to hang out at kids club apposed to hanging with the folks due to the great activities available. Situated inside Kuta and walking distance to all amenities like malls and the water park is just down the road. I don’t like bartering with the Balinese as they haggle far to much for my liking and it becomes annoying after a while unlike other parts of South east Asia. However I would highly recommend Dynasty resort for a staycation if relaxing by the pool and chillaxing is totally your thing. The breakfast buffet was impressive also boasting plenty of onsite restaurants to choose from. Or you can walk into Kuta in just five minutes and find something that suits if you don’t feel like dinning in. Lovely tranquil surroundings very well maintained facilities set in traditional Balinese prestige with lovely indoor outdoor flow, very charming indeed. The staff and service provided was nothing short of A+ you can book drivers to check out the Bali sites as well, Dynasty has it all.so it’s a big thumbs up from us

The Resort facilities are good enough for you to maintain healthy life. Kid clubs activity are interesting and very fun. Don't miss the good chinese resturant, call 'Golden Lotus '. The quality of rooms are base on new renovation or not. Some room can be very old and a lot of insects around. I paid extra money to up grade my room to executive suite and family suite. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room service just ok. The fried rice are good but not the pizza.
The Resort need to do the big work of maintenance and pets control. Location is closed to Lippo mall and discovery mall.

Tempat nya keren, suasananya asyik banget. Dekat dengan area hiburan Mall Bioskop, pusat kuliner dan sejenisnya. Pengalaman menginap disini sangat luar biasa. Dari Balkon kamar view nya bagus. Semua kamar non smoking dekat dengan kolam renang dan tersedia arena bermain bagi anak anak. Pada saat saat tertentu ada pertunjukan tarian api yang sangat memukau

The beds are too hard, there is not enough elevated lounges around the pool for older people or people with bad backs. The elevator on our side of the building was not working. Other than that the staff were friendly and always very helpful. The resort was clean an tidy with plenty of places to eat and drink.

The hotel is quite nice but I wouldn't say it's a five star resort. It's really a four star place in my opinion. That's not to say it's bad. There are multiple restaurants and bars including one in the pool which is a nice touch. There is also an adult area with a pool and chairs that children aren't allowed to enter. Enjoyable stay and great location.

This place is great for families and so close to shops and restaurants. I've been here 4 times now. Buffet breakfast is very good too, with huge variety.

New Gracie Kelly's Irish Pub is fantastic. Try a pint of draught Guinness and some of the authentic Irish dishes.

Good hotel, lot of activities, for kids and adults. Nice swimming pool. Location is perfect between two malls. Friendly staff, clean room, good food.

Spacious property. Professionalism and Class is lacking. Rooms are acceptable. Vegetarian food spread for breakfast is manageable.
Stayed in Courtyard by Marriot in Seminyak just 30min drive, much cheaper and excellent. Would not come back to this place. Location is close to Kuta Central. Surrounding is ok.

Location: premium, literally you can walk from Airport, through kampoong street less than 2 km

If you are going with the family and kids I must say this is a perfect stay.
What different here.

This has magnificent 3 swimming pools and also many individual splash pools.
Best part is that the kids pool had a slide and kids just love it.
They conduct many events whole day for the kids.
So parents and kids enjoy at their leisure.

Just outside the resort is also a great Indian restaurant.

The restaurants in the resort are also nice.
Do try their fresh cocktails.

The location is also good as it's on the main street only.

The beach is walkable from resort but you would not see anyone inside water as the beach here is full of stones.

Hotel bintang 5 dengan kamar yg tidak semewah hotel2 bintang 5 di jakarta. Tetapi, hotel ini begitu nyaman. Suasana masih asri dan tenang. Hijau. Pelayanan juga bagus. Benar2 memanjakan pengunjung. Tiap hari selalu menanti bentuk handuk apalagi yg akan ada di ranjang. Es batu juga tersedia di mini bar yg ada di koridor hotel. Pinjam mangkuk dan sendok diantar ke kamar jg dilayani dg cepat. Pinjam payung buat dibawa jalan2 seharian jg boleh. Pinjam sepeda buat sepedaan jg bisa. Habis check out, nitip koper dulu baru diambil malamnya jg bisa. Bisa kasih makan ikan. Atau cuma duduk2 santai di gazebo taman hotel. Tiap rabu dan jumat, ada kegiatan hotel utk pengunjung. Hotel yg ramah buat keluarga, terutama klo membawa anak kecil krn di hari rabu ada kegiatan utk anak2 jg yg free. Ada family room dg 2 kamar di dalamnya. Enaknya, setiap kamar punya balkon, jadi bisa bersantai duduk2 di balkon dan menikmati pemandangan hotel atau kesyahduan suasana. Swimming pool selalu ramai dan ada pool bar, jadi klo mau makan atau minum tinggal duduk aja di kursi2 yg disediakan di dalam kolam. Ada akses langsung ke pantai di belakang hotel. Klo kesini pokoknya wajib menyusuri pantai di belakang hotel. Makanan selama di sini, karena saya datang dg rombongan kantor yg mengadakan acara di sini dan kami mayoritas muslim, makanan tidak ada babi di restoran. Rasa makanan juga lumayan enak. Klo gak mau makan di hotel, sekitaran hotel jg ada Discovery Mall yg bisa kita kesana lewat jalan depan atau jalan belakang (menyusuri pantai). Klo mau makanan murah dan halal, ada juga warung muslim dekat2 situ. Kekurangan yg ada mungkin masalah air kali ya, karena dekat pantai, kadang air kran keruh atau agak bau. Dan lantai jg gampang lengket, jadi tiap hari minta di pel. Bau kaporit di kolam renang jg lumayan menyengat klo kita jalan di dekat kolam.

DO NOT STAY HERE WITH YOUNG CHILDREN! I I know a family who have stayed here recently this week who had a horrible experience. Their teenage boy was physically grabbed in the private area by one of the workers who was kindly walking with him back to his room. Their son was very much in shock and embarrassed to tell his parents straight away and when they did find out and reported it to management, they did not want to listen. Conveniently their cameras “did not work” in this certain area when the parents told them to watch the footage. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and response from the management. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

We have had a great time at this resort. There are an abundance of activities at the kids club and baby sitters are available for hire to enable parents to have their own time. The pools provide options for both the young and old, and there are a couple of kids slides. The location is handy, being in the heart of South Kuta and a close taxi ride from the airport. My only complaint would be that there is a degree of rust in the kids pool which sometimes stains their swimmers. The staff are friendly and treat the kids like kings and queens.

Kids loved it, not great if you want peace and quite though
Stayed 2 nights at Bali Dynasty during a recent 5 night break in Bali.
Positives:
- Family Executive Room was large, clean and well fitted out with a kitchenette and lounge/tv area, almost full size fridge, separate generous sized parents room with TV, KS bed and full size closet (kids beds were the sofa’s which were converted into beds in the lounge area), bathroom with bathtub and shower.
- The aircon was fantastic, really quiet and effective and also had separate controls for the parents room and the kitchen/lounge area.
- Room (#191) was on the ground floor right on the corner between the main pool and kids pool with direct access and a small veranda overlooking the main pool. Very convenient and a nice outlook
- The pool is closes from 10pm to 7am (otherwise I don’t think we would have got much sleep).
- Caters well for families with kids, my 2 boys (4 and 7) loved the waterslide and kids pool area. They didn’t use the kids club but it seemed pretty well set up with heaps of activities on offer.
- The staff were all really friendly and accommodating, especially the restaurant staff. My son has a food allergy and they were very diligent in looking after him, making sure food was freshly prepared or advising me what options from the buffet were safe for him.
- Hotel is very central, walking distance to Lippo Mall and Discovery Plaza and lots of other shops, restaurants etc.
- The day spa was very nicely presented and not too overpriced for a resort.
Negatives:
- The décor was nice, but in general everything was a little tired and showing signs or wear and tear. Dynasty is a fairly long established hotel though so you have to expect that.
- Room was really in the middle of everything so quite noisy and next to a smoking area.
- The main pool was really cloudy (you couldn’t see the bottom even in the shallow area) and also really deep. If I stood on the bottom with my arms stretched straight above my head, only my hands reached above the surface. Even the shallow area was too deep for my 4 year old to comfortably reach the bottom. The depth meant is was not that enjoyable swimming with the kids because I was constantly trying to keep my head above the water instead of just being able to stand up.
- The pool water smelled odd, not at all like chlorine, more like bore water. It actually stained our swimmers pink.
- Not a lot of vegetarian or vegan options on the menu, particularly the dinner buffet. The Piazza café and Sen5es restaurants were a bit better and they were more than happy to modify things for us, but still, choices were limited.
- H2O restaurant gets packed out for breakfast, there were actually families standing around waiting for a table. Go early!
- No drinks are included in the dinner buffet and only black coffee and tea were included in the breakfast buffet. Barrister coffees, herbal teas etc were all extra.
- At $25 a head with no drinks included (not even soft drinks), I thought the dinner buffet was pretty pricey for Bali, even if the kids did eat free.
- The day spa has lots of rooms and is quite busy so a little noisy sometimes. I could clearly hear the client and therapist in the next room. The therapists must also get paid by commission or get a lot of pressure to sell treatments. They were very friendly and everything, but also quite pushy about booking treatments and trying to get you to come at times that suited them. They actually go walking around the resort asking people to come and have a treatment if they don’t have a client.
- WiFi was completely useless.

Although family friendly, the resort is also definitely aimed at the Aussie drinking/partying crowd. Combined with the location it doesn’t lend itself so well to rest and relaxation. That said, if you like being where the action is, you’d probably enjoy the Dynasty. If you are looking for some peace and quite, or are a non-drinker or vegetarian, I would consider somewhere else.
