Bali Zoo

We had a wonderful day bathing elephants.
Apparently the elephants are doing very well there and were treated well by the staff.
You can go into a mud bath with the elephants, feed them, wash them and then go swimming in a river.
If an elephant didn't want to, he could stay outside and wasn't forced to do anything.
A highlight was the cute baby elephant.
One elephant is enough for about 8 people to clean, so we had enough time with it.
I recommend this excursion to anyone going to Bali.

Breakfast with the Orang-utans.
Wonderful experience, close up with Mum and bub. He was a character. Food excellent - lots of choice and options for all.

Bali Zoo is wonderful! So many beautiful animals to see upclose.

Kemarin dapat promo utk pemegang KTP Bali harganya IDR 110,000, anak2 IDR 85,000 kalo ga salah.
Untuk feeding animal harganya msih terjangkau.
Area luas, bersih, ada shuttle kalau mau lihat gajah juga. Anak saya senang dan semua staff nya juga ramah2 sekali.
Food court nya banyak pilihan dengan harga terjangkau.
Yang agak mahal pas di foto2nya IDR 280,000 untuk cetak 1 foto.
Pastikan membawa topi dan baju yang nyaman juga sepatu karena agak lumayan panas ketika saya berkunjung. Tapi disana juga banyak toko yang menjual topi jadi tidak perlu khawatir.

Awesome zoo, feels very close to the animals and wide open spaces. Great presentations throughout and the elephant ride was a highlight!

Bali Zoo is a delightful spot for families! We visited on a weekday afternoon and it was perfect - not crowded, peaceful, and allowed us to truly explore at our leisure. My kid had an absolute blast seeing all the animals.

Ke tempat ini sudah sore, atraksi sudah habis.tapi hewan sedikit sekali, papan informasi kurang informatif sehingga cukup membingungkan.datang kesini sore dengan harga segitu tidak worth it sih, kalau bisa pagi/siang sehingga bisa menikmati atraksi hewan.harga cetak foto sangat mahal.

Did a booking online got charged and got the confirmtation e-mail. When we arrived they told us the booking wasn’t there and we should come back another day! Drove 1 hour for nothing! Totally disorganized and unprofessional

A lil bumpy but it was worth it listening to the tour guide tell the story on how he raised his elephant from a baby till now is touching

The half day with the elephants is incredible, we feed them, brush them, we take the shower with them, we bathe and play with them in the water, it's downright magical! Not to miss! For the zoo itself, it is not very big and few animals.

Breakfast was an interesting experience, very crowded though. The zoo as a whole is okay. A small bus drives on the premises. We went there with our children, otherwise you can see in many places that a zoo is just a zoo. Tigers running in a circle etc.

The first time I took my daughter to the zoo to identify the different animals here, my daughter was excited and interested in the animals there. The place was clean.

Don't come if it's raining. Except the deers near the entry gate, only a few animals were in sight. Not sure if they are hiding because of the rain, or the numbers of animals are actually lacking. Birds show cancelled because of the rain. Unclear direction inside. Their photo booth staffs insisting visitors to buy the most expensive package without explaining what other photo packages are there. When we decided not to buy the photo, only then she revealed the cheaper options.

They have a lot of animals. But they haven't wheel chairs so please be considered if you bring an old person or disabilities.

We come a bit late so we dont get full experience, but its all nice especially the animal feeding time.my kids loved the bird show as it peovide live interaction with audiences.a bit far from where we stay in Kuta but we got the ticket discounted during pandemic

Waspada hidden fee.begitu masuk, disuruh foto, loket kedua, scan dulu gelang putihnya (kirain bagian dari prosedur entrance), begitu scan, suruh milih foto, ujungnya bayar.kenapa tidak diberikan informasi soal biaya cetak foto, pampang di depan loketnya.

Very good place! Have to go there with kids! Big green territory, a lot animals, a lot of spots for food (price is OK). Take money to buy food for animals (25K-45K to feed every different animal). My daughter wanted to feed elephant, it was great. Take please swimming suite for you and your kids when you are going to BaliZoo. There is a small water park. If you have Kitas, the price for tickets is less.
Highly recommended to go there. We really enjoy to be there with kids

Kebun binatang yg mengutamakan kebersihan & kenyamanan pengunjung.berbagai macam binatang yang dirawat dengan baik.

Sangat bahagia bisa melihat beberapa hewan langkah dan masih di pelihara dengan baik disini. Liburan yang menyenangkan bersama kekasih

Good to spend your family vacation here. Entrance Fee are more affordable if you bought it online and trough agents. Well maintained and they just opened their new Sahara/dessert animal section.
To pity that their famous "Jacky" the Orang Utan, has to be closed to public due it health conditions.

Love this place. You also can touch deers here. There is orang utan so smart name "Jacky", you better bring banana/peanut in bag for giving/feeding Smart Jacky.

Trek nya uda bagus, cm kurang atraksinya. Yang plg seru dan gk boleh dilewatkan adalah kasi mkn singa.utk harga sering2 promo KTP Bali yaaa.hehe

Very nice experience. The animals are kept in good conditions. If they stop the riding on elephant riding I would be happy.

Dari taman safari prigen, jatimpark, bali zoo paling ku suka, binatangnya kayak lebih terawat, tapi sayang cuma sedikit.dan gak tau kenapa harga cetak fotonya mahal sekali

I had a great time visiting the Bali Zoo. Also, I had lunch with animals view which is my first time. The environment was pretty good.you can also feed animals.

I had so much fun here! Ive been here choosing breakfast with orang utan, and foods was so good, and lots of choices. You can photograph with orang utan also but must on the queue according to queue number.
The toilet quite clean.

I love zoos. Bali zoo's animal collection is fewer than I thought, but the venue is clean and not smelly. We have double deck bus shuttle too but it's clearly not a safari ride. The restaurant was also worth checking!

Rekreasi sambil belajar. Sudah 2x dateng, Tapi untuk yang sekarang tata ruangnya lebih kerennn. Banyak bgttt spot foto yang keren. Tapi masukan Dan Doa.moga Bali zoo lebih laris lagi biar binatangnya lebih terurus Apalagi yang tinggal sendiri tanpa pasangan Moga cepat diberi pasangan/temen. Mohon maaf karna saya Pecinta binatang (semoga covid segera mereda)

Lumayan banyak variasi hewannya, dan lumayan melelahkan anak anak, lumayan bersih tp msh ada beberapa sampah bekas makan pengunjung. Beberapa kandang hewan mungkin perlu dibersihkan

It's amazing improvement they did in 2 years since last visit. Everything in great order, great staff and delicious foods. We'll be back more often.

Lumayan si sesuai harga, tp saat feeding satwanya mungkin satwa nya sudah kenyang ya jadi saat kita yg feeding satwanya kurang semangat ya nyari dagingnya.

Bali Zoo offers diverse animals that may come from different parts of the world. This comes off as a surprise as they are rarely seen in Bali. Not to mention the birds show performance that is also fantastic to witness. Unfortunately, some part of the zoo are out of maintenance or flat-out completely missing. It's also worrying that the ticket doesn't cover at least 1 photo session (that cost a quarter of million Rupiah EACH) with the animals showed in front of the gate. Really misleading and scammy.

Satwanya hampir kendekati lengkap. Kita bisa liat buaya, gibon, kuda poni mini macan, singa, rusa, berang" banyak deh. Suka banget sama nuasa hijaunya

Simple and small area, but feels homie.but for me the price for photos souvenir is too pricey.use comfort shoes because you will explore the entire zoo area by foot.

Good place with your family. Have a good swimming pool for kids and recommended place if you go with your family.

Photo souvenir not recommended, i took higher package with 3 hard copy + softfile

i pay more because of expecting soft file photo result with my family, but at the end i need to download from snapps.com and i found that the file are low resolution.

Good place to educate the kids about the wild animals. They was very happy and had lots of fun in the zoo. I hope Bali zoo can improve more and has more animals in the zoo

Kebun binatang yang cocok untuk joging, beberapa hewan tidak di sangkar karena jinak dan bisa memberi makan hewan dengan tambahan biaya

I would not recommend visiting this zoo, Here you can ride elephants and bathe with them, But anyone who shares any concern for the dwindling elephant population or captive elephant abuse should work to end these tourist attractions—not fund them.

Tempat wisata paling kek tai yg pernah gue datengin. Orang lain bayar sekali buat semua foto sedangkan gue diminta bayar lagi tiap spot disuruh milih cuma 1 mau yg sama burung atau gajah. Mungkin karena gw orang jawa kali ya bukan orang bali atau cina. Bikin saya kapok datang lagi ke bali. Rasis!

You can touch animals and feed them, all animals look happy and clear, healthy and friendly!

Locally referred to as ‘Kebun Binatang Bali’, is the only animal attraction in Bali using ‘zoo’ in its name. The zoo is set over 8ha of lush tropical gardens in the village of Singapadu, Gianyar regency. The zoo is a convenient stopover before Ubud on tours from the island's south.   Bali Zoo is home to various tropical plants and an extensive collection of fauna ranging from mammals, birds and reptiles. The zoo is shady and pleasant to walk through and also features a range of experiences, such as elephant and pony rides, photo sessions with animals, as well as outbound adventures.

We only went here for one purpose: the elephant ride. What I was pleasantly surprised with was the first part of the zoo where the deer and kangaroos were roaming around and you could pet and feed them. There is a decent variety of animals, including tigers and caimans. Apparently TripAdvisor says this is a top 25 zoo in Asia. There's also a new elephant experience where you can roll around in the mud with them. Not my cup of tea, but it's an option.

What's a bit annoying is the shuttle bus bottleneck that takes you from one part of the zoo to another. During peak season you may have to wait in lines and you cannot choose to walk even if you are able.

We just LOVED the Elephant Mud Fun! We recently tried out the brand new activity at Bali Zoo - ELEPHANT MUD FUN. I must say this is one of the most memorable experiences we have ever had. To be so up close and personal with these gentle giants was quite surreal!

The elephants seemed to absolutely adore being bathed in the mud and water. They didn't seem worried by us around them at all. They loved being fed constantly throughout and were happy to lay down and receive their mud baths.

The great relationship they have with their keepers is obvious. It won't be something we forget anytime soon!

The tower still maintaining, I hope it will done soon. They also still maintaining some other places for new animal [giraffe <3] and other animal. I came at 9 am, and all animal was still sleeping until I came back around 11 they're awake and played. The sun bear really enjoyed with the waterfall. I joined the bird presentation, saw the attraction, played with the eagle.such a golden memory to me now. I surely will come back on April 2019, and see the result of your renovations. Thank you!

Pernah nyoba ga sih kalian main lumpur bersama gajah? Pasti pada takut nyobain, takut gajahnya ngamuk yaa haha. Kemarin aq berkesempatan untuk nyobain atraksi “ ELEPHANT MUD FUN” yang ada di Balizoo. Disana kami diberi kesempatan untuk bermain, memberi makan, berinteraksi sampai dengan mengambil foto bersama mereka, Seru banget. Nah, Kalian ga perlu khawatir bermain atraksi ini karena ada Mahout yang akan menjaga selama atraksi ini jadi sangat aman banget.

Fakta Unik:
Pada musim panas gajah gemar sekali berkubang didalam Lumpur. Mau tau kenapa? Ternyata Gajah tidak memiliki kelenjar keringat dimana kelenjar keringat ini berfungai sebagai pengatur suhu tubuh. Untuk mengurangi termometer internal mereka, makanya gajah berkubang dan menguling-gulingkan badannya kedalam lumpur. Selain itu, lumpur berfungsi melindungi kulit dari serangga dan kutu.

Semakin bagus sekarang, dengan renovasi dan penataan tempat yg rapi.parkir luas. Perlu dikasih tulisan exit yg besar di area parkir depan, karena sempat bingung kemarin keluar lewat mana, karna tidak ada petugas yg jaga area parkir.

It's fun at from the entrance until you reach the parrots. The main attraction Jackie the orangutan was very sad and depressed and kept banging on the gate to be freed. Was very heart breaking. She only had leaves to occupy herself with.

Sharing breakfast with orangutans and elephants and birds was an amazing experience.personal photo opportunities and to experience some play time with the orangutans is something I'll never forget. All the staff were so helpful (as usual in Bali!), and the presentations (in English and Indonesian) were fun and full of interesting facts. Great to see so many different animals in the zoo too, and lunch sitting next to the hungry eye lions is a must too!
Only downside with the rest of the zoo were many enclosures seemed way too small for such a large site.

Starting jam 08.00, Morning Tea dulu, menyiapkan makanan gajah, memberi makan gajah, meluluri gajah dengan mudah di sawah, membilas tubuh gajah selama 30 menit, setelah itu kita bisa pergi ke sungai, mandi dan setelah itu ada shower lagi buat gajahnya.bisa taking picture di sana

Selanjutnya kita mandi di shower room dan ada Lunch juga.dan paket tour nya selesai.
Setelah lunch kita bisa jalan-jalan melihat binatang yang ada di Bali zoo sampai sore.
