The whole thing lasts about an hour and a half, it's a bit pricy but it is well worth the money and the time. It's a charming experience.

Second-class Balinese dance performed for tourists. More of a pensioner's idea or something for culture freaks.

It seems that there are several types of performances that take place at this venue. I watched the morning show. A lot of people mention this being a traditional Balinese experience. I have no way of verifying this as I am not Balinese. There were definitely almost all tourists in the audience. As a tourist who often frequents performing arts shows in other countries, I found this quite unentertaining. It’s true that the costumes and music are great. The storyline was moderately difficult to follow. And about 20 minutes in, it was uncomfortably noticeable how antsy the audience had become. I believe most people, including us, stayed out of respect and not wanting to be rude. If your tour guide recommends this, I think you’re better off asking for an alternative.

This show was amazing. It felt strange to see a show at 10am, but the show was so good, it didn't matter. I would definitely go again.

Anyone expecting Balinese temple dance at its best will hardly get their money's worth. The majority of the performance reminded me of the comedy bar with a tavern brawl!

The show was nice but the chairs was made of bamboo it is not comfortable at all the show lasts for one hour i wished that it finished from the first 15 minutes because of the chairs, paid 150 k for the ticket

I was able to see a powerful stage.
At the entrance, they handed out explanations of the performances, so I was able to understand the synopsis while reading them until the performance started, so I was able to enjoy the story as well.
Instructions were prepared in various languages ​​such as English and Japanese.

Since it is outdoors, we recommend using insect repellent. The toilet was relatively clean as well.

It’s a must see if you are interested in local folklore. The audio quality is not great, actors speak Indonesian even though most visitors are from abroad. You are handed out a leaflet in English about the story. Restrooms are horrid.

Exquisite performances by the artists. Great way express the tradition full with culture, color and music. Really had fun watching the dance performance. Entry fee was like hundred thousand IDR.

A superb performance by Local Artists. This is a traditional Bali Program. Vibrant display of colors and music. I admire how they used the local instrument. Performers are also friendly. I had fun watching it. Really great display of Balinese dance, culture, tradition and beliefs. Costumes are also nice!

We went there June, 2019. It is a traditional Bali program ad and very popular for everyone. Local artists performed their drama with dance and music.

This is a religious dance of the people but not too much attractive because of the language and blur voice. But those who love the cultural and religious things they may find the interest.

Save your time and money. The show was poorly performed. No clue what was going on. The paper version was not reflected on the stage. Complete tourist trap. You're not missing anything in Bali culture by skipping this.

Didn’t even know we were going to this dance as my partner and I were doing a trip to Ubud. We had to pay about $10-15 Australian money to watch this which was fine however did not expect to pay this. The dance was very hard to understand and what I did not appreciate was the killing of a baby chicken at the end of the ceremony? I am against animal cruelty and don’t eat meat and I would NOT have paided this knowing this was going to happen. Snapped the chicks neck and threw it on the floor to die. Disgusting. Would not recommend.

Storyline on the paper looks good but in performance, we couldn't able to understand and co-relate.
Tickets were cheap though.
