BGS Uluwatu - Bali Surf Shop & Coffee Bar

BGS is part of my morning routine. Just walk across the street from Kala Surf Camp and get a warm welcome and very good coffee. The staff is very nice and the local vibe is still chill and easy going. Lots of nice local and expat community people, dogs create this nice atmosphere. My go to every day.

Very nice and beautiful place, surf tent-cafe! The coffee was good but the prices are quite high.

We were brought here by a friend who said he knew a beautiful spot, and he did not lie! This cafe is just beautiful! The food is gorgeous and the staff are wonderful, and it’s really not expensive either, 10/10 recommend!

Great flat whites. Even better people. Go and sit out the back for a quieter, vibey spot.

Always spend an extra half an hour here sitting and chatting after I’ve finished my coffee.

I tried an espresso - single shot and it was pretty bad, very basic flavour, mainly chocolate and overall quite bitter. It feels like they did not clean the machine for a while, so you can really taste it in the finish, really unpleasant. They served a bottle of water but in 5 min when I finished the shot already, also the water was warm, but the glass was chilled. Not sure how it works. I tried a biscoff cookie and it was absolutely delicious so kinda mix feeling about this place. The vibe was definitely good, while I would probably not come back for a coffee.

Their almond milk it’s just perfect.
Tried also Krakatoa smoothie bowl and it’s pretty good for their price point.
They also have decaf coffee which is a really good thing since no much places can offer that.
Will come back for sure. Staff is very friendly too.

I come from Bandung, West Java, when I visit Bali I always take the time to come to BGS Bali because the coffee tastes so nice?

I really like the atmosphere, best coffee in uluwatu, and nice interior. This is a good place to study or chill with friends.

Nice place to hang out and get coffee. They open till 10 pm! Best deal to keep you stay wake up. Stella is really nice. She made my coffee and my day! Two thumbs!

Best almond milk on the planet, not exaggerating. I'm usually a long black guy but I have almond flat whites every visit now. The vibe is always on point, good music and cheer. Service is super helpful and friendly. I don't have coffee anywhere else in Bali now.

Best coffee shop in Bali, hands down. The vibe, the staff, the coffee/matcha, the ALMOND MILK.immaculate. They've cultivated such a strong community, and make you feel like you're part of the family. Easy to make friends, work, read, chill, or just pound some caffeine and head for a surf.

Friendly accommodating staff and good they assisted by making space for us on the bench seats which were highjacked by 2 female euro posers bare footed legs up lying on the furniture. A good example of poor cafe seating design and allowing layabouts take up valuable cafe realestate from a better class of customer. I will also add - posers dogs should not be sitting on the cushion bench seat where humans sit.

Their Iced Almond Milk Latte with homemade almond milk is the best Latte I ever had. The smoothie bowls are tasty but nothing super special - if you want a snack with your coffee they’re def a good option.

I’ve been twice, the food ain’t good. Coffee with almond milk is yummy other than that there is plenty of other places way better and cheaper.

I was blessed with very kind and friendly staff (Stella and her buddy) who helped me a passerby. I was in bad luck that day, but her optimism and passion about life encouraged me a lot for the rest of my journey. Though I was unable to meet them again thereafter, I hope virtues can be passed down to more people visiting the store.

I just bought a board a couple of days ago and I had such a good experience there. The guy who help me to buy the board (Alex) he was so good in his job he was helping me with everything I wanted! Thank you very much!

The employees are not polite to customers there is one guy who has tattoos on both of his hands, I am annoyed to see him, no manners, unfriendly and unprofessional work too, very disappointed

Ordered an espresso. The notes were very average. Very little to write home about. The place itself is a bit unwelcoming with hardly any service to speak of. The staff seem busy among themselves

Coffee is good. Very friendly staff. Smoothies are like milkshakes though, not thick like a smoothie, not much fruit, hurt my stomach because it was so sweet. Nice they make their own almond milk but it’s super duper sweet.

I had a divine experience here while staying in Uluwatu. I was served a great almond latte, fresh almond milk with hints of cinnamon in the coffee. I relaxed out front for an hour or so, feeling completely at home with the employees and other people coming in and out. I will be back again, thank you

Best almond milk latte at uluwatu and the service was immaculate especially one of the staff called JAYA. He just deliberately pay attention and attentive while serving and welcoming us in the BGS. Obviously would come back and have more shopping experiences back in BGS uluwatu
