Billy Ho

I’m really thinking hard here. Nothing is not of place. And the food is as tasting the stars! I recommend the sushi since it’s is very fresh and made with Japanese sushi grade rice.

Billy Ho is an absolute gem! I've visited twice, always booking in advance, and the process is a breeze.

For my birthday, I requested a side-by-side seat, and they not only accommodated but made the entire experience seamless. The security even helped us park our scooter – a thoughtful touch.

The scallop and prawn dumplings were a taste sensation, fresh and soul-satisfying with the divine sauce. The chicken lollipops were a hit too, and we couldn't resist ordering the char siu pork belly along with another round of those irresistible dumplings.

Although we were happily stuffed, the waiters surprised us with ice cream, a candle, and a sweet birthday song. Thank you for all the staff!

Billy Ho's attention to detail and superb dishes make me happy on my birthday night.

There are a lot of restaurants in Bali that position themselves as top end. Billy Ho is one of the few that could actually maintain that boast on an international stage. Restaurant fit out is spectacular, the staff are professional and the best trained group we have come across in our travels to Bali, the food is really good, actually really good and even the wine list is pretty reasonably priced (for Bali).

It's not an inexpensive dinner but if you want to treat yourself, this place packs as much punch as anywhere on the island.

So far my best experience in Indonesia.
Excellent food inspired from Japan and adapted to local best ingredients.

Loved this place, food was amazing and so was the service. We did the feed me menu, would do it again but definitely go hungry it's a lot of food! The dumplings are the best!

Well executed of ambiance and presentation. Not a typical sushi cafe with Japanese atmosphere for it’s probably a fusion kind of restaurants. Among all “Japanese-ish” dishes that came, the crispy fried fish is the winner. Well seasoned and perfect dipping sauce.
The server is warm and welcoming.
One good choice for Japan night delicacy around Canggu area.

Great service, great ambiance, food a little hit and miss. Fantastic dumplings, best I've had for a very long time, the tartare also very good with a unique touch of smoked makrel in the bed of dip the tartare sits upon. The sushi roles on the ordinary side, the tempura a touch oily. I did enjoy the tamarillo duck. A solid 3.5 star. Not worthy of 3 so gets bumped up to 4.

Amazing food, easily comparable to some high end restaurants in European capitals.

Great asian foos with some nice vegetarian options. Even the basic sushi / sashimi is tasty, but they have some amazing main-dish options.

Perfect service, really high quality food, an extra vegan and another vegetarian menu. It's a bit pricey, but worth every penny, I'd say. I can recommend this place!

Restaurant was not good for sushi/sashimi. It’s possible the cooked food is tastier. The sashimi was not cut well (pieces of filament and other stringy bits) and the rolls were mediocre. We had the sashimi selection, the crunchy roll, spicy salmon, pickled mackerel, and oishi sushi toro with wasabi cream. We also had one cooked dish which was the water spinach and it was not particularly tasty. Most expensive meal we’ve had to date (~765k), and the most disappointing.

An upmarket Japanese fusion joint along the road. My palatte was given an epicurean experience. The chicken skin was cooked to perfection, buried in the potato puree.oooh lalaa.

The 3 grains fried rice was one of the best I had in a while. Do yourself a favour, have a treat.

We went back to this place twice whilst staying in Canggu it was that good. It is Australian owned and the owner knows asian cuisine like you wouldn’t believe.

We had dinner here and order mixed tempura, soft shell crab sushi, red snapper udon and fried rice. My favourite was the softshell crab sushi. The presentation was good and the staff were very attentive and friendly.
The atmosphere was very pleasant
