Blue Corner Dive - Nusa Penida

3 days ago I joined Susy and Cameron for a two diving session in Nusa Penida. Everything was fine and they are super, well prepared and easygoing.
Beautiful diving sites!

I’ve been diving with Blue Corner for one day and I had two dives! The communication was easy and the took good care of me. We’ve been to Malibu Point and Karangasem Sari. On the second dive we even saw a Mola Mola. My diveguide Jason has also taken photos of me with the Mola Mola. It’s a really nice dive school and I can recommend them with warmest regards!

We had a great time diving yesterday! Our instructor Julie (sorry we don’t know how to spell his name!) was fantastic. He was very patient and took great footage with our GoPro. Cameron was also very friendly and thorough with his dive briefings. We did a refresher the day prior with Cut who was great and helped make us feel comfortable again. We saw lots of manta rays! We were recommended Blue Corner by some friends and will pass the message on. Thank you!

What an experience we had with Blue Corner. The dive masters, Jason and Suso, were great teachers, really reassuring and professional, as well as being great fun too. I was recommended Blue Corner by a friend and want to pass the message on. As an experienced diver myself, this was the best diving experience I have ever had. A very good professional diving shop. The service provided by Jason and his team is exceptional. Laid back but you know you are in capable hands. They offer plenty of diving options and cater to your requirements. The Divemaster Cut, is an awesome dive buddy. She ensures you are safe and compliant and her local knowledge of the sites and reefs is perfect also. It was my first time back in the water in over 7 years which was a breeze thanks to Cut. Jason, Susi and the team made our experience so much better than I could of imagined. My daughter is 10 years old and she got her certificate for scuba diving with Jason. My fiancé did his refresher, and we all did 2 dives together as a family. Our first dive all together! It was incredible. Jason is top notch with kids and I hope everyone goes to this excellent padi scuba dive centre. We came all the way from Canada and it was worth it.

They have a great boat, they are not very busy with clients and as a result you get both attention and service at the highest level.

In my opinion this is the best club in Nusa Penida. Very professional customer service, reasonable prices, excellent service. The director does not impose places where there is nothing, but recommends beautiful sites. I have been on this island for a long time and I know everything here

We had excellent experience with Blue Corner Dive. We completed two beautiful dives north of Nusa Penida and saw amazing coral reefs and a lot of turtles and fishes.

The entire team was very helpful and lovely, but the special recognition goes to Mangush, who was our instructor. Confident and professional, and the fun at the same time. We truly enjoyed our experience!

We are experienced divers and are able to compare blue corner to other dive bases around the world.

It's a small dive base, very familiar. Nobody is snooty, from the first moment you feel a warm welcome. The base offers a 2 tank dive in the morning and a 1 tankie in the afternoon. The diveboats are very simple and start from the shore, they have clear signs of aging and are not really comfy. With more than 5 people it feels quite crowded and it's not so easy to find a safe space for camera equipment e.g. The crews are friendly just like everywhere else.

The dive guides are nice and friendly and give clear instructions for the dives and safety, sometimes the diveplans were a little strange (like diving over a plane sandslope and reaching the reef after 10 minutes) and didn't seem well thought. But, all in all they were motivated and committed.

The dive sites we saw in 14 dives where all brilliant and healthy, not crowded at all.

Between the 2 tank dive you are offered a very simple but super tasty snack (fried noodles, fried rice and egg) and coffee/water.

As we have been diving in the low season there was enough space on the base to rinse all the equipment and sundry it, but it was already quite busy. I cannot imagine how it might be in the high season.

We used the rental equipment once, which was a little old but well maintained. Everything worked well.

Considering the prices you get a discount if you do more than 6 dives and have your own equipment- if that's the case the price is really cheap compared to other top diving spots. But, the price you pay is that you don't have any service- you have to rinse your equipment yourself and set it up and change bottles by yourself, but that in my eyes has its advantages over more luxury dive bases where you always have to rely on others, that they set your gear up in the right way.

All in all a clear recommendation for blue corner dive if you like a familiar atmosphere and a small dive base with welcoming and warm people and top dive spots for a good price.

Had the best dives here, thanks to amazing team working there. Dive sites were wonderful but 5 stars is for the great team, equipment and setup who made the whole experience really unique.

Didn't expect to find another Bristolian this far away from home, I came away to escape them lot!

Awesome people, great communication, everything was so smooth and Suna is a great teacher. So happy I became an open water diver with their help. Will come again for more dives for sure!

Super diving school on Nusa! The communication with Jason via WhatsApp went smoothly, we decided for two dives and felt very well taken care of the whole day. The equipment and the briefing was all very professional and flawless. We saw up to 15 mantas at the mantapoint, it was incredibly beautiful. We had two great dives with our guide Manggus and can recommend the dive center 100%!

Blue corner is awesome. I got my open water here and go on fun dives here whenever im in nusa penida. Jason is a great instructer and i felt totally prepared to start diving after getting certified. I highly recommend

Hands down the best dive shop I have ever had the pleasure of diving with. Not only are they some of the most experienced and professional, but also simply the genuinely nicest people I have met in diving so far. If you want to have a great time and a safe diving experience, I can only recommend Blue Corner Nusa Penida.

Did my explore dive with Jason and the team which was beyond any expectations I had.

The team and net alone Jason was exceptional at explaining everything and each step to insure that we were comfortable and prepared for our experience.

I personally had a bit trouble defending at first but they were already many steps ahead and introduced me to other way which was very pleasant and lead to one of the most beautiful experiences I have had in nature!

All I all we felt really well taken care of and comfortable throughout the dives.

Any first time experience and introduction to something new should always be fun and lighthearted which this amazing team did in their own special way.

Kudos to you all and if anyone is around penida and curious about diving then this is definitely the dive center you should visit!

Would even encourage you just to drop by and grab a Coffe with the team who are all super friendly and excited to answer any questions you may have ;)

If you're looking to go diving or want to get your PADI certification, let me save you some time and tell you that you found the best place for that. No exaggerations. I'm a pretty picky person and can say without a doubt that the folks over at Blue Corner Dive in Nusa Penida exceeded all my expectations.

Before signing up for the open water dive course, I had a phone conversation with Jason who very patiently answered all the silly questions I had and provided useful information about how the course is set up and what I can expect. Right away, that put my mind at ease and knew I'm going to be on good hands.

Huge props to Nick as well, the best instructor I could have had. He showed tremendous knowledge about diving and the marine life while at the same time presenting the information in an easy to understand manner. I started out a little nervous about diving but his calm and friendly manner really helped a lot. He is attentive and patient which made me feel very safe at all times as well as comfortable with being underwater. I really can't thank Nick a lot.

They even helped accommodate a friend of mine that isn't into diving but wanted to do snorkeling. She had a fantastic experience as well and saw tons of cool stuff.

Overall 10/10 experience, extremely happy I did this. I booked 2 more fun dives after completing the course which were incredible. Saw a bunch of marine life, including mantras, huge barracudas, bunch of turtles and crazy-colored fish that Nick helped point out. Can't wait to be back!

Jason and the crew at Blue Corner Penida are total legends and total professionals. I needed to get away for a week and within 24 hours he had booked me a scooter, accommodation and six days of gorgeous diving. He even met me at the ferry!

We saw Mola, shark, dolphin, stingrays and so much more. We dived a variety of sites with and without strong current. I'm an experienced diver but I learned new things and felt very safe. Nitrox and everything else is available and I especially appreciated the thorough debriefing and fish ID sessions. Highly recommend.

Dove here 3 days in a row, doing 6 dives. Dove with three separate instructors: Rosie, Nick and Mangus, all of them extremelly professional, knowledgeable, with great diving skills. Also very friendly, and easy going.

Dive sites were always different, included: manta point, crystal bay, sental, toya pakeh, batu nunggul and suana. Saw mantas, turtles, lion fish, trigger fish, swimming moray etc.

Visibility was between 12-25m, so really great! Corals are in awesome condition in the North East of Nusa. Some drift diving which I always felt safe as instructors were very good in their briefings before dives, and always knowleadgeable to chose the right spots to dive into, taking current into account.

Always dived in small numbers, therefore great to have instructor's attention. All instructors make an effort to point out all fish with its corresponding name/gesture, which are then all discussed/mentioned again when logging dives back at the shop.

Equipment is in good condition. Lunch/brunch between morning dives is indonesian type food which is ligh enough so one can dive without being too full.

Jason the owner was great at replying to my messages before I came in, about prices and any questions I had, and the same continued whilst there.
He even helped me with logistics to get to Gili T (with kind help from Flo!), and suggested a few dive shops and sites to go to.

A very high standard dive company I have to say. You won't regret diving with this bunch.

Went there as a group of 4. Nick was very helpful and trained us, made sure none of us feared the ocean. The entire team was supportive. Had an amazing time.

I did my OWC refresher + 2 fun dives here, and my husband did a DSD, and what an amazing experience! Jason was responsive, patient and super helpful in making all the arrangements prior to the dive. Our instructor was Matt, and he was funny and brilliant! He made the whole experience super fun and even taught us some new (read: 'unconventional') dive signs! They provide good quality equipment, prioritise safety, and ensure fun unlimited! Unfortuantely, it wasn't the season for mola molas, and we spotted a few mantas but not a lot. So I'd suggest pick the right time to visit. But if you're in Nusa Penida, Blue Corner is THE team you want to dive with! Thanks Jason and Matt, hope to see you guys again:)

I cant even describe how awesome this place was, Nick was the best instructor I could have asked for and made it a fun and funny experience. I wanted to wait until I went to other dive places to decide if this one actually stood apart from the others since I recieved my certification at blue corner and now I can say without a doubt it stands apart. I've been to 5 dive shops since blue corner all with excellent ratings and none compare. The owner Jason is also a funny and nice guy. Cant recommend it enough.

Oh! I forgot to mention one of the best parts, they have a shop dog (very lazy and wont bother you if you dont show interest in case you dont like dogs) hes awesome and loves going on the boat! He even has an active instagram - @chucklesshopdog - add him!
