Blue Corner Dive Freediving Conservation - Nusa Lembongan

Very lovely place to do diving and dive courses. I just finished my DiveMaster training there and had a wonderful time there. The instructors are very professional, teach you a lot and are very friendly. The whole place feels like a family. Once you get into the program their moto is you aren't a customer anymore, you aren't a guest, you are part of the crew and that's what you feel. Also extra bonus is the Divemaster trainee community which made the whole training experience even better.

Also had a lot of conversations with customers who loved their diving experience. So if you're looking for a great experience in diving either for fun diving or training this is the place!

Beautiful diving, great instructors and good vibes only. Great facilities and what I love above all else is that they employ many local DMs and instructors and do a lot for conservation

I joined Blue Corner’s Freedive Course with Eugene and it blew my mind! I have always been fascinated by the
allure of the deep blue, a realm where silence reigns and weightlessness becomes reality. Little did I know that beyond the physical experience of gliding beneath the surface, free diving has a big impact on the mind. It was an extraordinary experience and Eugene’s knowledge, passion, professionalism and beautiful radiant soul made it unforgettable.

I think it’s safe to say I found a new passion and can only highly recommend to try this and also check out their The Fluid Focus retreats.

I had my first dive with Eddie, it was amazing. He made me feel so safe and everything was very well explained.

Did my wave 1 and wave 2 with them and learned so much in only a couple days, was able to hit 30m with them so comfortably, incredible people and beautiful facilities, when I was sick they just let me make up the missing time and had not problems with it, would 10/10 recommended to everyone that is interested in freediving. Also have a 20m pool for training

I recently had an incredible experience completing my Advanced Open Water Diver certification at Blue Corner Dive Center in Lembongan! From start to finish, my instructor Made was amazing - not only was he super professional, but he was also incredibly friendly and put me at ease right away.

As someone who had not dived in 5 years, I was feeling pretty anxious, but Made was always there to offer guidance and support, making me feel confident and comfortable in the water.

The facilities and dive sites were all fantastic, and all the staff at Blue Corner Dive Center truly went above and beyond to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

I can't wait to come back, especially during the Mola Mola season, to explore even more of the incredible underwater world with them!

Best diving center in town. Staff is super helpful, professional, fun and charming. Equipment was in great condition. And the diving around is gorgeous! Will come back!

I had the best time doing my Rescue Diver and Divemaster training with Blue Corner Dive.
1. The whole BC team is awesome and creates a very welcoming, professional and extremely fun environment. I loved learning from them and all of my fellow divemaster and IDC candidates.
2nd point - my fellow trainees. I met the most awesome people here. The shop just seems to have a great energy that attracts good vibes only, amongst staff, trainees and customers. I made friends and memories to last a lifetime. Magic.
3. The course and instruction. I got such great hands on learning experiences from these courses and all the instructors (extra shout out to Misha and Piyo!) My diving really improved and I learned so much about the ocean, about teaching, about Indonesia, and cheese alert: about myself
4. The facilities. Have you *seen* Blue Corner? More than once during pool work I had to stop and say to myself/whoever would listen "Look at this! How lucky are we? " Blue Corner is also home to the best dive and snorkelling boats in the Java Sea, and the best beach bar on Lembongan.
5. Bonus points for the bonus Intro to Freediving course with BC Freediving, which was included as part of the DMT training. I'm now hooked on another water-based sport!

In case it's not obvious, I highly recommend Blue Corner and can't wait to return! Whether fun diving or training, go here!

Extremely professional and knowledgeable, the Blue Corner staff goes the extra mile in any area you want to explore or hone your skills with their flexibility and agility. From the first interaction, the team went out of their way to help, from housing to understanding your goals, to everything else you'd need. You won't find better location if you want to advance your diving skills or get your feet wet in marine conservation. Nusa Penida and Lembongan are rich in coral and marine life - making the Blue Corner Dive experience one of the best. My only complaint about Blue Corner Dive and Conservation Center is I couldn’t stay longer.

I went for two fun dives with Davis, overall experience was great! And Davis was amazing and very helpful. He made sure I knew the dive plan and pointed out all the cool fish underwater that I nearly missed!

Completing my scientific divemaster with blue corner diving and blue corner conservation has truly been one of the best experiences of my life. The staff shines and fills the course with joyful learning and friendship. I’ve come to make great friends with other divemaster trainees, staff, and fun divers. I cannot recommend a dive shop more!

I cannot rate this dive and training centre more! Eugene was absolutely fantastic! The environment was so chilled, other divers were approachable & friendly, but most importantly, Eugene helped us achieve goals we did not consider were possible!
From diving to 7 metres at a push, we finished the course achieving a calm, and seamless dive to 16 metres! Incredible. Thanks again to everyone at Blue Corner!

Best dive shop of the island! We've done our advanced, rescue and now our divemaster here. Great staff, great courses, great food and drinks for after the dive and so on. Can't recommend it enough how nice this place it. Very happy that I can experience the place and the crew a bit more the next couple of weeks.

I have done multiple certifications and fun dives with Blue Corner and have never been disappointed. The owners are wonderful people that are always willing to help you and all of the staff are the most friendly people you will ever meet!
If you are thinking of doing your professional courses at BCD, you could not find a more professional, yet still exciting and inviting dive shop. I am now a certified open water scuba instructor, by the hands of Made P and Cody, and loved every minute of their course. It truly was a stress-free IDC. I love this dive shop (and restaurant/bar) and have made lifelong connections there.

I did my IDC with Blue Corner Dive and I couldn't choose a better dive center! Everybody was really friendly and helpful from the beginning, special thanks to Cody who had to deal with my technical difficulties prior to my arrival and also had been patiently answering all my questions.

My IDC mentors were Eugene and Made P.and I am glad to complete IDC under their guidance. Both of them are really funny, knowledgeable, patient, and just adorable people. Although I finished all my previous training with SI and my experience was mostly with shore diving, they guided me through the program without judgment and with the same approach as to other candidates. Thanks to them the IE was a piece of cake!

I can highly recommend BCD for your IDC. Except for the excellent teachers, everybody in the dive shop is really friendly, beachfront facilities are amazing, as well as their dive gear and boats, and the best part is definitely the tasty lunches provided during your IDC.

What a comprehensive, practical and magical Freediving course! The feeling of diving free of most equipment is blatantly unequalled. The guys at blue corner dive are friendly, encouraging and patient and answered any question that came out of my mouth. Shout out to Phil for encouraging me to achieve a 5 minute breath hold for my first session!

I learned to freedive at Blue Corner with Cam. He was incredibly knowledgeable and able to answer all questions. He accompanied us on every dive and made me feel incredibly safe at all times! I very much recommend this experience!

I did my IDC with Cody and Made and cannot reccommend blue corner enough. They were very detailed in explanations and could answer any question that was given to them both. They were professional and fun which provided a great balance throughout the days together. If you are looking to do your IDC or are wanting to do a few fun dives, Blue Corner is the place to do it.

Did the beginners freediving course with Phil. Loved every second of it. He didn’t focus on times and depth, which meant I was so comfortable and ended up achieving more than I expected. Can’t wait to come back and do more diving with them

I was lucky enough to complete my Padi freediver Cert with Cam at Blue Corner Freedive.

For someone who spends some serious time in the water i was blown away by the change of perspective offered by freediving. Cam and the team offer an amazing experience and i will certainly be back.

Coming from the Scuba diving side I did the Freediver course for beginners in order to learn proper technique and get rid of former bad habits for Freediving. After the first of the two days my expectations were already exceeded by far. It was nothing short of an eye-opening and truly mindblowing experience!
Phil and Cam are highly professional, patient and very skilled watermen in general. The theory was really interesting and made easy to comprehend by their presentation (also much more fun than Scuba diving theory). Pool and in-water sessions were exciting and to see how fast you can progress in this short space of time gets you hooked immediately! Pushing my limits came natural and always felt safe.
I would recommend this course for surfers, divers and even the occasional snorkeler (it will make your experience so much better) - basically anyone that likes to spend time in and around the ocean!

The freediving course was AWESOME! It taught me how to conquer my fear of being underwater for longer periods of time, and showed me the amazing potential of the human body. I also learnt how to relax and channel my inner mermaid! A must do!

I did the Level 1 freediving course with Phil and Cam. Great guys and very patient and supportive instructors with an obvious passion for freediving. We worked carefully through the training materials and had plenty of time out on the water to practice our skills. The class size was small which meant we all got lots of individual attention to work through any issues. I love the fact that they encourage students to come back for more dives to keep practicing. I would definitely recommend bluecorner freedive for anyone who wants to learn freediving.

Cool place, diving instructors are great with young People Who dive fast. Otherwise showing a bit of patience, even if time is money, could improve the tourists' expérience.

Blue Corner is hands down the best place to do your instructor training! Why was it so good? Apart from the obvious and well deserved PADI recognitions awarded to Blue Corner Dive and the staff, I would also like to recognize some other aspects. The location is world class, not that you need amazing diving during your program but pre and post course you will experience some of the most memorable diving around. I still close my eyes at night and see fish and corral whizzing past at Mangroves. Blue corner Dive sets the bar extremely high with every element of its operation from their training facilities, equipment, accommodation, Bar & entertainment, to the delicious food (especially the meals provided for the IDC candidates). Most of all, the atmosphere around the centre is contagious, you can't walk through the centre without making a new friend who is as passionate about diving as you are. Last of all, the staff are simply incredible. Everyone is super friendly and very encouraging; when I left for the IE I not only felt ready for the exams, but like I had a whole new family behind me cheering me on. I was extremely proud to represent Blue Corner Dive and I was so excited to return after I passed to celebrate with them all. I should also give a big tip of my hat to the resident course directors Cody & Made! They were exceptional and made me feel like they would do anything to help ensure that we were all prepared for the exams. When it came to the trip to Bail for the IE we got to meet Rosie from Blue Corner Dive Nusa Penida who is just more evidence of the supportive and passionate culture running through the veins of everyone you will meet. I can't thank the whole team at Blue Corner Dive enough for my experience and would highly recommend anyone I can to visit this truly amazing operation. Everything they do is first class, memorable, and for some life changing.

I recently completed my IDC at Blue Corner Dive, Nusa Lembongan with course directors Cody and Made P. I decided to take the 25 day course option - the whole experience was fantastic.

The first 17 days focused on perfecting our theory and learning how to teach skills in the pool and in the open water. Cody and Made P are enthusiastic and patient teachers, and work really hard to build your confidence as an instructor in training.

The remaining days after the exams were complete were spent on gaining our instructor specialty ratings. This included an epic trip to Tulamben, where we were dove the Liberty and Kubu Wrecks. Here I completed the wreck diving, night diving and photography specialties. We were joined by Blue Corner's in-house photographer Ollie for this - it was great to have a photographer come along to teach us.
This was a brilliant end to the IDC and an amazing bonus to the course.

Blue Corner Dive is the perfect place for IDC. Not only are Made P and Cody awesome teachers, the dive shop is set right on the beach and has an onsite bar. It's a beautiful location for relaxing after your day of study! Not to mention the diving around the Nusa Islands is AMAZING. Make sure you stick around after your course to dive around here some more!

Definitely the best choice for dive services and dive courses around Lembongan. I spent almost one month at Blue Corner, really enjoyed for every fun-dive and the training course. Staff is friendly and helpful, nearby dive sites are just stunning. Oh, don't miss out the bar.get some bottles to enjoy the funs.

An incredible 2 day freediving course for beginners. Our instructors, Cameron and Fil taught us all the necessary material and skills and gave us all the confidence to start freediving. Started with different pool exercises and quickly transitioned to the deep blue waters of Nusa Lembongan where they took us for gradually deeper dives. The progress we all made in these 2 days was astonishing diving to 16m and holding our breaths for more than 2minutes. I will never forget the skills i learned and the renewed confidence and calmness in the water i learned with freediving.

Did a freediving introduction course and it was an awesome experience! The guidance and support by Cam and Phil was outstanding (two instructors for three students). At any time it felt super safe and stress free. Definitely a recommendation!

Before taking the PADI freediving course, I thought freediving was scary. But thanks to our great teacher Cam, I had an amazing experience. He is very knowledgeable, patient and encouraging. I felt very safe with him and had a lot of fun!

If you are curious about freediving like I was, don’t hesitate and give it a go with Cam at Blue Corner, you won’t regret it. You’ll discover a new world and maybe a new passion!

Had an absolute pearler of a time on this course and cant recommend it enough. The location was incredible and the dives were amazing, saw some awesome underwater creatures like spotted eagle rays and marble rays.
All the staff and blue corner were so lovely and welcoming and always down for a beer on the beach at the end of a day of diving.
Cam was an incredible instructor and can’t wait to progress further in freediving and hoping I’ll be back sooner rather than later.

My husband and I tried free diving first time ever with Blue corner dive. (Freediving SS1,2-day program)
We had lots of fun with our instructer (Cam) and achevied some personal goals ;)
Before-dive session was very detailed and informative, his backgrounds of Marine biology studies helped a lot.
I guess if anyone who's expecting fun time with fishy and stuff, this might be a little bit challenging experience. It felt rather surreal being in the blue water and the team and us. We are glad we decided to go for it with blue corner dive.
Definitely would recommend to friends.

Spent a few days doing Scuba diving @ Blue Corner and I have mixed feelings.

The diving and the instructors were great. Eka and Fatima and the woman at the front desk were great. We had an issue with the owners, tho.

When we arrived, we were told they had double booked the room and we had to wait. We had already paid and had confirmation and they acknowledged the error was on their side.

We waited for about an hour and we were taken to the stay next door - Suka House and were told we would have to stay there. While we didn't have any issue, they were doing some repair work at the stay and was quite noisy, we didn't get wifi in our room (needed it to get our SSI courses) and when checked them online they were slightly cheaper. So we asked if there was a way around it and we were told the family of the owner was in one of the Blue Corner cabins and in order to stay there they'd need to kick her out.

We didn't think we needed to make that call and wanted to check with the owner first. After waiting for another hour or so, the owner, a European guy, told us his sister was staying at Blue Corner, and if we wanted to kick her out. When we replied that as guests we shouldn't be having to make that decision, but that if they wanted to move us to a different accomodation than initially agreed upon, general courtesy dictated that we should get some kind of compensation, he looked at us and said: "ok, but no".

Diving and dive masters were good (but bring your own equipment, you're getting very old gear and no computers).

So yeah, owner was rude and didn't care about us, we're giving an according star rating.

This is a review of the Padi Freediver course. If youre new to freediving then this course is great. The instructor is very nice and easy going and really teaches you a lot of great techniques to feel comfortable in the water.

If you have some basic experience and are looking to expand with freediving then this course is not for you. I was hoping to take this course to progress my experience while in a safe environment with an instructor. I can regularly freedive to 15m and made the instructor aware of my current status however once in the course they constantly limited me to 10m. I got to practice a lot of techniques and learn some theory but it really didnt feel challenging enough to make it worthwhile.

Freediving is about your mental state and paying attention to how comfortable your body feels yet this course predetermined 10m on a line just because they say so. It wasnt until the end of the final day that they finally released the line to 16m and allowed me to go further but at this point I was tired from all the up and down at 10m and couldn’t equalize my ears anymore to test myself. Overall I didnt take away much and kinda feel like I would have been better off elsewhere.

I hope this review benefits all by giving experienced people more insight before signing up and giving the dive shop suggestions on how to improve. Instead of limiting people based on some made up number, I think it would be better to tailor the course according to someones current skill level. If they have some experience and feel comfortable and safe to go up to 20m then you should allow them to so that they get a chance to grow. Also I think it would be smarter to work up to a deeper depth earlier in the day and then make it shallower as people get tired so they can finesse their technique at that point.

They are not in possession of a first aid kit & they think tank bangers can be dragged over the oceans -not so pristine- coral. Even if you point out that this is happening (Eka) When it finally Got stuck between some coral, so he couldn’t swim any further, he decided to hold iT in his hand instead of letting in hang on his spiral coard half a meter below him. (Grrrrr)

With Herman During my first Dive I got attacked by a not so small titan Trigger fish (What ofcourse can happen) and Putti came to my rescue.

Thank God for Rocky from USA Minnesota, who brought her own first aid stuff to my diving buddy let’s call him Peter Nickelodeon Pan.
His knee was injured during his jump of the boat to the shore. O yes, and next day he got in the water for third day of diving and he got an weight of a weightbelt fell on his head. A guy diving for the first day, didn’t see him next to the boat and droped his belt by accident. Poor Peter.

I Made four dives. 3 were nice, the coral is nog in such a Good shape anymore unfortunatly. The mantapoint dive is why I came to Nusa Lembongan, it was worth my trip. Viz was not Good but made the experience more mythical, seeing Manta’s swim under above left and then right of you and so close was amazing. IT must have been 20/25 Manta’s (probably Some the same off course) at one time swimming with in groups of four. And a lot of pairs. IT was the highlight of my trip to Nusa Lembongan:) so greatfull.

Two owners of Blue corner Divers, from Canada were not in the house. One was at Lombok and one back in Canada or something. Steph was managing.

Didn’t get my Pick up from Denpassar AirPort as we agreed on by mail in advance. But that’s ok. Took a cab. - Didn’t get an answer about my lost sunglasses, but that’s also ok.
When I paid my bill, they didn’t know about my downpayment of USD 153, -.
That’s also ok, I showed then my email conversation. That’s all ok and not vital.

I’ve had so much email contact with Steph, but didn’t talk to her, in a way i think that’s a shame. But that’s ok too. I understand.

Vital though is: getting an first aid kit and steril water/cottons/bandages/betadine stuff like that etc!

Your guys have dive schools in Lembongan/Bali/now just Nusa Penida. WoW that’s great, business is doing great, please take safety serious.

Just did some freediving training here with Cam. Everyone is lovely and welcoming and it’s been lovely to spend the day training together!

I did a fun freedive with Blue Corner and it was really well done. Our instructor Cam took us out to the mantas, a site I really wanted to see, and then we got to go to a deeper spot to try out some deeper dives. We reviewed our free immersion and constant weight techniques and got to hang out at the bottom and look at the aquatic life. It was super fun!
