Blue Ocean Seafood

As other reviewers have written, the menu is 2 to 3 times more expensive than usual for the same menu. I was taken there on the sudden recommendation of a Grab taxi driver, but when I was told that I needed to pay a toll and was charged Rp5,000 to enter the road, I felt unsafe, so I looked into it and found out that it was a similar victim. There was. Perhaps they are colluding with the store for compensation? There are many better stores. Don't make the wrong choice.

View bagus banget, tapi sayang makanannya not recommended.

Kita beli udang tiger, cumi, crab, dan kerang di pasar kedonganan (total seafood mentah 190rb, which is cukup murah) untuk dimasak di resto ini yang kurang lebih jasa masak + nasi dan minum sekitar 230ribu.

Review makanan

1. Udang bakar, rasanya lumayan walau sedikit overcooked tapi ga yang sape rubbery.
2. Cumi goreng tepung rasanya standar, hanya cuminya kurang dimarinasi.
3. Kerang saus padang. Rasanya agak plain, jahenya terlalu dominan, dan kurang meresap ke kerangnya.
4. Kepiting lada hitam. Ini failed bgt sih, asin ga ketulungan. Padahal ini gong-nya dan paling mahal tentunya

Staffnya ramah, pelayanan bagus. Untuk view juara! Kalo dateng jam 5 sore bisa sekalian sunset-an. Sayang rasa masakannya rata2 hambar, cuma udang bakarnya yang lumayan enak. Will I come back again? No.

Bad service, half of the order was forgotten or mixed up (there were only two of us!) Fish and shrimp grilled to death. Prices too high! Better go somewhere else!

Terrible ‘sea food’, all with the same spicy taste, untasteful. No atmosphere, all plastic dinner plates, plastic seats…

TERRIBLE, A SCAM. A waiter offered us a smaller menu for 1,000,000 and brought us a single plate with cold food, while the menu price is 1,500,000 for 5 COURSES. He literally wanted to scam us. DO NOT SIT, they will try to trick you because you are a tourist and the food was cold. I put a star because you can't put 0.

Puas pokoknya makan di tempat ini.tempatnya bagus lihat sunset sambil makan seafood yg rasa masakannya enak banget pas di lidah pelayanannya jg ramah banget.

I would give zero if I could, absolutely Rip Off, be aware of the guy welcomes you upon arrival and talked friendly, he’s a ripper, been charged IDR 7.350,000 for normal seafood, was totally shocking, we wouldn’t pay that much at fish market in Sydney and that’s SYDNEY, stay away guys

Sadly, we visited here because our driver took us, and we didn’t have time to look at the reviews

On arrival you are presented with a very overpriced menu, trying to sell you a “fixed price” meal at a price that would buy you a medium sized house in Bali

Once we got the “normal” menu we ordered. And were then presented a seafood dish that was much much colder than the beer we had been served. We did complain, asked for something that was at least safe to eat. Several minutes later they bought back the exact same plate, untouched and now even colder!

Needless to say, we didn’t eat any of it

Please avoid, for you own healths sake. There are so many fantastic restaurants in Indonesia, and they won’t try and charge you an arm and a leg for inedible food

We have chalked this one up to being too easily led rather than being guided by our own instincts

Great place for seafood. Staff is nice. Food is great. Fresh. Grilled right in front of you. We had lobster, prawns and some fish. Excellent.

BOS perlu belajar banyak dari kompetitor nya "Legong" untuk memasak scallop dan cumi, terutama dalam pembuatan menu saus padang, karena jujur secara rasa tidak se spesial Legong. Akan tetapi patut diakui bahwa suasana makan di BOS memang jempolan karena berada di pinggir pantai.

Patut disayangkan bahwa pelayanan di BOS ga cukup baik karena pelayannya jutek hanya karena ga pesan minum, dan harga jasa bakarannya overpriced sekali, bakaran harga 40rb/kg, dan masak/goreng seharga 60rb/kg, padahal dengan harga segini kita sudah bisa dapat ikan sekilo wkwk. Kompetitor lain saja harganya hanya 15rb/kg untuk jasa bakaran

Tempat nya nyaman.pelayanan nya ramah.walaupun lebih lama untuk menyajikan makanannya tapi sesuai lah dengan rasanya.harga nya masih terjangkau

View is beautiful and it's enjoyable to dine on a beach but we had to wait over an hour for food. The food was not tasty, the fish was full of bones AND SCALES. The food was incredibly overpriced for such a small amount and the seafood was dry and not fresh at all. If you're coming here, it's strictly for the view and experience of dining on a beach.

I'm probably being a bit unfair because I already have a favorite place in Jimbaran. This place just pales in comparison to my favorite place. The beach was alright. The place was alright. Food was so-so (and it's easy to find *good* food in Jimbaran). Price was. A bit overpriced all in all. You wouldn't be disappointed but there are other better places.

Gave half a star for the overpriced dinner, and the other half for the sunset view that was block by clouds.

Despite being advised by a friend who received feedback from his customers that the seafood was just so so at these touristy restaurants, and the premium price to be paid was for the sunset view, we still decided to give it a try.

It was an unforgettable disappointment.

Overpriced at IDR350K for a plate for one lobster, thin fish (full of bones), tiny shrimps that were not fresh, and few squids, and a small plate of vegetables.

The service was also no good. The food was served 30 min later though we had requested for the food to be served at 6pm.

Great place for family event. We celebrate birthday there and the staff were very helpful.right by the beach and there was this music band playing for us.the dishes were nice, I especially enjoy the clams, the other were decent.

Good place for sea food. Though the menu options are limited and there is no option to choose individual food. The food comes in bulk. But the taste is quite good. Beach side view is also pretty amazing. Sometimes there is live music too with local performers.

Food was terrible. Waiting for so long and I order for clams but they don't clean it well so there are some sand on it. Service not good. This is definitely gonna be my last visit.

Rasa sih Oke. Tpi awalnya item makan yg dihidangkan tidak sesuai dengan voucher yg sya beli di traveloka. Sewaktu dibilangin baru ditambahin.

Service was great, food tasted nice accompanied with welcome-drinks, sunset view was simply beautiful.had a fulfilling dinner with wife!

Sublime food and stunning beach view while eating dinner, right on the sand. Romantic and casual scene.

Food quality was average. But their service was good and their staffs were very accommodating and always greeted us with a smile. They even asked our Grab driver to wait after we finished our meal as it was hard to book a Grab there.

Great ambience & service but food so-so. Seated facing the sea and watched the sun set. Better to go earlier at say 5.30pm to enjoy the sun set. Vegetables too stringy. Mostly tourists there.

People come here more for the view than food. To be exact, they are here to catch the sunset. If you want to catch the sunset, be sure to arrive here latest by 6 PM. As soon as you arrive, find an empty table and get seated. Then, you will be given the menu (Tip: Do not go for the package menu item unless you are in a group of four to six pax). The waiter or server will then bring you to the front of the restaurant to select the seafood (prawns, squids etc) and have them weighted. After that, you can go quickly get back to your table if you have not already caught the sunset.

Terrible food. Pathetic service. Horrible experience. Stale and cold seafood was served to us. Tasteless and not at all attractive. I took the package of 500.000 IDR and complete waste of money. And waiters are so arrogant and also resist. Different services to different nationalities. I would not recommend anyone.
