no complaints.the staff is exceptionally kind, always caring, smiling and warm.

2.location
hotel surrounded by nature, but close to the center of Ubud. We were able to reach several key places such as the Ubud market, the monkey forest or even different temples: all on foot!
it takes 40 minutes by car to reach the tegalalang rice fields.

3.the place
breathtaking with its view of the forest from the swimming pool.calm and relaxing place.

4.the bedroom
spacious room, equipped with air conditioning and TV.the bedding is good.however, small downside on the humidity in the room, perhaps lack of ventilation in the interior bathroom.which remains completely normal due to the tropical climate of the country.

5.breakfast
faultless breakfast, several choices available in the form of an à la carte menu.conclusion:
we had a pleasant stay, surrounded by quality staff, with an impressive view.

We have had a wonderful stay at Bucu View Resort. We spent a few days in one of the villas, which are spectacular, and other days in a standard room. The quality differences between room types are too great, which is why I give it 4 stars. The hotel staff is magnificent and they have a great cook. The facilities and their views of the jungle are unimaginable. A place I would return to without hesitation.

A fantastic place to base yourself in Ubud. Quiet surroundings and the staff are unbelievable and go that extra mile for your needs. Clean spacious suites, lovely pool and service is second to none. Breakfast choice is good and only 10 minute walk to bars and restaurants.

Absolutely Wonderful Stay at Bucu View!

We had an incredible experience at Bucu View Hotel in Bali. One of the highlights for us was the fantastic infinity pool overlooking a river in the valley! The breakfast was prepared fresh upon order, offering a superb start to our days.

The room exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness and had a unique private outside area serving as a bathroom, which added a touch of luxury to our stay. Additionally, the staff were exceptionally friendly, making us feel right at home.

We encountered a minor issue with the bathtub, but after notifying the manager, it was fixed within an hour. This prompt response only added to the overall excellence of our stay. We highly recommend Bucu View.

Stayed 4 nights at Bucu view. A hotel with excellent rooms, but above all a beautiful view.
Everything else is outdated.

Problems with my debit card upon arrival (no contactless payment option)
In which the hotel staff, including the manager, have shown that they have no understanding of hospitality at all.

For 3 days we had stress about the payment, in which a solution was finally found from our other hotel (who wanted to think along with us).

The breakfast is really bad, no possibility for a decent cup of coffee (cappuccino / milk variations) or fresh tea (only a pot of filter coffee / tea).
And this for a 4 star hotel, where you pay more than 120 euros per night.

The rooms were nice and clean and were tidied up daily.

When checking out, we indicated our experience. And there was actually no understanding here.

Unfortunately, I think with a good manager or supervisor who understands hospitality that much more can be gained from this stay!

We had a small but fine stay at Bucu View Resort. The highlight is of course the beautiful view of the untouched nature from the pool. Unfortunately, the location is actually a bit off the beaten path, but everything is still easily accessible. Room from the equipment and size so far very good. However, as already mentioned in the other comments, I have to point out the partially existing water stains on the ceiling. Service, on the other hand, was a 10/10, because after I unfortunately had a bit of stomach problems and had mentioned this at the reception, a rice soup to "stuff" ;) was brought to my room. All in all we can definitely recommend this hotel if the water stains are harmless.

We had massive mold in our room and hence a really bad experience at this hotel. We didn't have a retreat and it really spoiled our stay in Ubud. Please don't rent these rooms anymore! They hoped to hide mold and moisture by painting over the walls - unfortunately it didn't work! Everything was damp, room, walls, bed and linens, even all the things in our suitcases. The smell was also extremely bad in the whole room. Apparently they had water damage here that was not treated properly. After repeated requests, we were given another place to sleep for one night, which was fine. However, 2 out of 3 nights were an absolute impertinence and the staff didn't immediately understand, but we had to explain our situation several times and clearly in order to get help! Which then only worked for one night.
All in all: not recommended! Please don't rent these rooms anymore, this has nothing to do with vacation and will make your guests sick!

We’ve arrived at reception, were we were given yummy welcome drink and wet towels to refresh our selves!
We had very good first impression.
The receptionist is very friendly and kind.

Our room wasn’t ready just yet, as we arrived before check-in time.
They kindly offered us to keep our luggage at reception and stick around within the resort if needed.

We went to check out the resort environment.
The pool is absolutely the highlight of this place with stunning jungle view.
Restaurant has very friendly staff as well, we ordered some bites as we were hungry after travelling.
Everything was good, but very little to choose from.

We were taken to our rooms with help of staff who carried our luggage.

NOW THE SURPRISE IS HERE

As soon as we walked in to the room, we noticed strong odour coming from the room, but actually it was from bathroom. Extreme humidity in both rooms with no windows open for who knows how long.
The smell was impossible to get rid off.
We didn’t have a choice but stay as everything else around was booked out.
We opened windows everytime we were in the room, but obviously you spend most of the time outside, so it didn’t help much. Later when we were trying to find out what it is, we noticed water marks on all walls. They were clearly flooded some time ago, and the walls were just poorly re-painted without any treatment.
Especially in bathroom it was very visible.

Also on the ground in shower area is full of rocks. I wonder how they clean the bottom. Highly doubtful they clean each rock every time they clean the house, so much dirt is cough in there.

We found lots of blood marks on curtains from mosquitoes as well…
And our bedsheets were not changed every-time they cleaned the room.

Not mentioning, we had breakfast included in price.
It was the worst breakfast menu we’ve ever seen. With 3options to choose from. Extremely small portions, no complimentary bread with omelettes…once asked for bread they brought basic white sandwich bread, no sourdough or anything.
Also their juices are not drinkable, though they’ll be freshly squeezed, like everywhere around, but they were not, which wont be the biggest problem, but they really tasted bad.

This resort catches people on their pool and view, but that’s all what’s worth it.

A great place with a wonderful view, spacious rooms with nice terraces and lovely staff! The top feature of this resort is its location and how well it's implemented with the surrounding nature. You can feel this right away when you step into The reception. The restaurant, pool and garden are really nice and relaxing. The staff is extra friendly and caring. The rooms are luxurious and spacious

Very reasonably priced beautiful site close to central Ubud. Away from any noise etc.the food and service was also wonderful. Highly recommend.

Located near main Ubud market, as soon as we reached the property we were warmly welcomed by their amazing staff. After the welcome drinks, when we entered our room we were blown away. It was such a cute room with amazing aroma, great interiors and huge balcony. The pool was amazing overlooking the forest area. The staff is so nice that any written appreciation would be less. They smile and greet you genuinely and not out of any obligation. We were not charged for small extra services and they ensured that whatever we needed in the room was provided. It is more than value for money. Must visit!

We had a honeymoon package 517£ for 3 nights. The room was great, big size and the privet pool was very good! It could be cleaner, because there were stamps on the mosquito protection. The bathroom and shower room were very clean. Some lamps were burnt. The complementary massage in our package was poor. Even if the ladies did their best, we did not have any special massage bed or relaxing environment. My wife had a massage on the bed and I had on the floor laying upon pillows from the outdoor sofa. The complementary dinner was delicious (except the local red wine), but we were expecting this dinner to be traditional and not with beef steak and salmon steak. The tuna salad was amazing! The breakfast could have more selections, or the choice to mix the choices. In our check in we informed the reception about early check out and the offered us the solution of breakfast box, but unfortunately they forgot it. We left a letter on the hotel with the same review but we haven't received any reply yet.

Exceeded my expectations, and my expectations where high! Great place to stay. Feel like you are in the middle of the jungle, and the city is just 3 min away

This place is perfect for nature lover. Infinity pool with valley view you can enjoy here. We stayed here for 2 days. Ambience, rooms, nature everything was perfect except bathroom of delux room. This place is located in ubud but far from market so no restaurants and shops nearby.

The most magical experience we have had on our trip to bali, and when we probably go visit here again this will be our go to place, the staff is super friendly and welcomes you with open arms, they made our stay one of the most memorable stays we have had, they resort is full of colour, has some of the most stunning views, the breakfast was out of this world and is eaten in the restaurant that is on top of the private pool villas overlooking the sacred valley and the river flowing through the valley, the squirrels are running up and down the palm trees infront of you and jumping from tree to tree while you enjoye your breakfast nature is giving you a show of its own, every morning opening the curtains to a misty morning, sliding open the doors and having all your senses overwhelmed by the scent of the nature, the fresh air, i guess you kind of get it this place is as close to heaven as i think i have ever been. The room was a beautifully made up every night they would fold our corners of the bed open to.you know get easier into bed for a good nights rest and dont let me get started on the fact that there was no bugs in our room even though you are in the jungle, ohhhh but wait every scheduled time they do some bug control by introducing a smoke to keep the spiders and the mosquitoes away, i think you get the point if you are looking for the most welcome, most amazing, most relaxed resort with the best views in town.then this the place.in fact the only place

Probably the best hotel room I've ever had, and at such a reasonable price. Get the one with the private pool.

Bed was not comfortable at all. One side was lumpy and difficult to sleep on. The shower only had two temperatures. Scorching hot or freezing cold. Breakfast was just okay. Distance to the main street was a pretty far walk. The good things: Large room, good size balcony, friendly staff and an awesome pool.

Bucu view is the best resort situated in a rainforest area and it is very safe to stay over there. I went to bali for my honeymoon and they provided us a very best services. We requested for a floating breakfast and the breakfast was amazing specially the Dadar gullung was so tasty which is must try

Beautiful resort, the staff here are incredible and have made our holiday so great. The resort is beautiful and hidden away from the loud city noises, but only a short walk away from the markets and cafes etc. Whilst writing this review by the pool my girlfriend and I chatted to the owner, who is an incredibly lovely and wholesome lady that brings a homey and comfortable vibe to this beautiful resort - she genuinely loves and respects her guests!

Very helpful and smiley staff, location is perfect. You are so close the center however you feel like you are in jungle. They need the develop breakfast

The hotel was 100 meter away from the connecting road and to access the property you have to walk uphill/downhill which will be difficult for some people.
When we were there there were some building works too which makes that 100 meter very muddy and sometimes there is not any light on that piece of road due to rain.

Food: Breakfast is really good but lunch/dinner are expensive.
Location: as described above but its 15 minute walk to the UBUD main road where you can find a lot of restaurants.

Leisure: The hotel got a really nice pool but there are alot of ants over there and the hotel staff didn't come back there at all after the morning cleaning services.

Room: Room is good but the bathroom is a little smelly as they do not have any windows.

Apart from that the hotel is good and they have amazing view of the river at their backyard.
