Cafe The Daun

I have to come here a lot because I work across the road. The food is always bad. I usually order two meals because the meal portion is too small. Meals are always horribly prepared using poor ingredients. Barramundi tasted like flake. Rubbery, flavourless and a different grain. Have been eating Barra my whole life and certain what they served me was not Barra. Burger supposedly Aussie beef mince. I’ve never eaten meat tasting that bad in my whole life living in Australia. Def not Aussie beef mince - was chunks of grissle in it for godsake.clearly they’d used min e made from local cuts, not properly minced even. Taco shells are always undercooked and rubbery and chewy (how hard is it to cook a taco shell crispy). I don’t understand why so many Bali cafe’s have no idea how to cook. It’s like there is no trained chef.honestly tastes like food kids make when you let them cook dinner for fun. The can of coke was the only thing that tasted like it should taste.

Cafe with AC. If you can get a seat next to an outlet you're set. 2 for 1 cocktails during happy hour too!

Sadly they have very basic music on repeat. Could use a refresh with more modern vibes.

Nice cafe, so comfy with large food and drinks menu from all kitchens with good prices i tried most of cafes in this area and it is the cheapest one as far as i recall, the edge abt this place is that the staff is extremely nice, they dont attempt to overs sale or cross sale, you can grab a cup of tea or coffe and enjoy the AC / wifi without any sort of disturbance

Delicious food for a great price! Particularly loved the pink smoothie bowl, best we have ever had!

My go-to place for all meals of the day. Really cheerful and efficient staff, a diverse menu with everything i can ever want to eat, priced reasonably. Delicious food. Highly recommended!

Really nice seating outside and food came out very quick.i had the salmon toast, which was delicious - the mango was such a nice touch.defo will be coming back

The staff were exceptionally friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in.
The menu had a great selection of dishes, and everything I ordered tasted delicious. The atmosphere of the cafe was also fantastic.
Overall, I highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a great place to eat, drink, and relax.

Nice smoothiebowl and good mie! The crepes were bad (they broke into pieces?) the fish and chips small portion. One time they brought one dish half an hour after the first because they forgot. We had to eat separately. No compensation offered. Also, it's waaaay too cold inside!

The perfect spot for brunch, lunch or dinner. The wet burrito is an absolute hit.

Totally recommend a fresh juice with breakfast.

This place has potential, however…
We had hotel breakfast at this place. They have a set menu and provide Balinese coffee & juice (papaya or watermelon) : my partner didn’t like the Balinese coffee. I thought it was fine.

Later that day, I wanted to get us long black coffees and doubted if I should get it there or somewhere else. I got it there and I really like it. My partner as well. A tip: make your breakfast costumers excited about your coffees and offer them the coffees on your menu.

Next up: the food. I liked the banana pancakes. Ordered them everyday. One day (I didn’t notice it at first) the pancakes were black on the bottom — completely burned. Please check your food. Don’t try to fool your costumers by serving the burned side upside down.

The other breakfast food is so so.

Love this place. The food is spot on everytime, staff attentive and friendly. I can easily spend a whole day here chilling, working (fast wifi) or for a quick snack. The price is spot on too.

OUTSTANDING! My first time here for lunch today and certainly not my last.maybe I will get Grab delivery from here tonight. Delicious, fresh food and wonderful first class service with a smile.and a nice, laid back ambience. The "Berry Berry Smoothie" is absolutely THE BEST smoothie that I have ever had the good fortune to taste in my 65 rotations around the sun! Actually tastes even better than it looks! And the beef salad is delectable.

The berry smoothie was amazing! I asked them to add some yogurt. Was super thick and generous with sliced banana and whole blueberries on top. So good! Nasi goreng with satay also delicious. Will go back!

Wow whoops, I accidentally drank most of my almond milk cappuccino before I realized it was so good I should write a review about it!
They have a healthy section with vegan options! Raw zucchini spaghetti, vegan burgers and vegan cheese! I could hang out here and fill up on these yummy cappuccinos often!
The vibe is white cool, I love the music, sweet staff and small, quaint cafe.

Absolutely fantastic! Excellent food, coffee and smoothies. The staff is wonderful and offers great, consistent service. Prices are very reasonable. Highly suggest giving this place a try when in Canggu.

Unser absolutes Lieblings Café. Einfach nur gemütlich und lecker. Wir haben uns jedesmal einen Shake bestellt.einfach nur lecker. Das Personal ist auch sehr zuvorkommend. Der Cafe schmeckt super und die Frühlingsrollen sind ein Traum.

I absolutely love the Macha Latte there, and also the Bircher Muesli is so delicious. Great stuff, super friendly and always some nice music

One of my favorite place to come to. They have the best smoothie bowl tho not many choices (I tried many places) Price are reasonable than many cafes around centre of Canggu.

They did not serve my first two choices, the ground was dirty, some ingredients were missing in the dish and the place was covered with flies.

I was living in Surf lodge Canggu so I have breakfast included which I was eating here in Cafe the Daun and I can say I was really tasty and delicious. They have lot of choices of meal to eat. Fresh juices are great and these smoothie bowl are TOP!

At this place I tasted the espresso smoothie for the first time! This stuff is amazing! I was blown away by the taste of espresso and dragon fruit. The smoothie bowls are also fantastic!

The atmosphere was nice but the food was very disappointing. I had falafels and they were greasy and tasteless, the homous tasted like mushy peas and there was no tzatztiki though it should have come with the meal. One other I was with also found their meal boring but the other enjoyed his duck. There are much nicer eateries in canggu.

Very cute and cozy atmosphere. I had the kombucha with the falafel and hummus plate. It’s was really good! They had tons of vegetarian and vegan options. I highly recommend! The staff was very quick and everything was fresh and homemade! There’s plenty of seating inside and outside and I really enjoyed the “open” feel of the place.

DO NOT ORDER PIZZA! Meat lovers pizza should be named to meat haters pizza. Some pieces of some meat product in the middle of pizza and half of the pizza sides were totally empty. Like only dough. Awful.and i was hungry. Needed to order more food to get something to eat. Better pay more and get your belly full not pay double for it. 3* because large beer was 40k and burger was ok but also small. Otherwise service was ok. But choose another place to eat is my advice.

Very nice place for breakfast. The smoothie bowls are great and look beautiful. It is also not too busy. Just really wish there were more vegan options on the menu! The smoothie bowls were the only thing we could eat
