Canteen will always be one of our favorite breakfast places in Canggu. Cappuccino with coconut milk is the best. We love the food but above all the warmth of all the staff, especially Trishna

The food is great, we ordered avocado on toast and also wrappers. The staff are very responded, also for the breakfast, they have lot of healthy options.

My husband and I have been coming here for years. We love the food, the price, portions, and especially the smiling faces of the people who work there.

Really delicious western style food and coffee, prices are suitable for that area but still higher than usual in Bali …
Tasty anyway and really cool shop, nice surfer styles. If it’s too crowdy in that area you will feel kind of a rush in that place though

Come for brunch, very pretty café with a vintage surf atmosphere. Berry smoothie bowl, green zinger juice, flat white, passionfruit juice, beef burger. Very good, beautiful and reasonable prices! Too few fries though. I recommend!

Such a cool little surf cafe! It’s busy for a reason! Delicious food with lots of fresh healthy options, fast service, great coffee, and reasonable prices! I love coming here, always feels like it’s a hub for creatives and surf culture! It’s one of the original cafes in Canggu, and I will come here every visit to Bali (& that’s every year!) LOVE CANTEEN? !

The food looks good but tastes like nothing, the falafel was hard so you could not eat it. The Wifi does not work at all, todally overrated

My all time favourite place. I'm addicted to their smoothie bowl and coffee: all ingredients are fresh and delicious. So happy they survived the pandemic! Clearly people that know this place kept on going as they always offer fresh and delicious food at a fair price.
Also the staff always welcomes you with a smile. Just feel welcome here every time I go, so definitely recommend it to anyone who's in the area.
Just this morning someone damaged his bike and the staff just came with the tools to help him repair this.
Now that's 5* service, going above and beyond!

I had been really satisfied, the people were quite nice, food was really delicious, prices were good and overall atmosphere was quite nice. I loved the decorations and style of the building. I could pay by card, they had good WiFi.

Nice little spot for a casual breakfast. My poached eggs were too undercooked for my liking (lots of uncooked white) but I’ve had a few poached eggs like this in Canggu so maybe it’s me! Would ask them to cook for longer next time. My partner enjoyed his eggs benedict. May sound simple but we were given lime for the fruit salad and it’s a game changer—so delicious!

It’s a great cafe for breakfast located on the Main Street of Canggu. They’ve a wide range of breakfast option to choose from. Coffee is really nice and I love the Iced Latte.

Along with brekkie the way they shred n make hash brown is also great & it goes real well with the sambal sauce & spinach.

They’ve got brekkie combo which is for just 50.000 you can get breakfast of your choice with any tea or coffee, I find this really reasonable making it a regular go to place for breakfast.

Staff is friendly & great to suggest you the best offerings. Will definitely visit again.

We went for breakfast here as it was so near where we were staying. We've been trying new restaurants each day to explore the Canggu food life.

Ordered: Macchiato, Mango juice and a Pineapple Basil Kombucha. I originally wanted a Chai. There were four types on the menu, but they didn't have any of them.

Food: Salmon Hash Brown and Honky Tonk hash browns.

The Macchioto was, unfortunately, not good. The beans used for this drink were way over roasted so all you tasted was burnt coffee. We did let the server know it was not good (no response) and ordered the kombucha.

Mango juice. Fresh juice. Tasted like fresh mango.
The Pineapple Basil kombucha almost blew the top off the bottle with a noticeable pop! Flavor was light and fairly refreshing.

Salmon Hash Browns. Think eggs benedict only over a crispy hash brown. The eggs were slightly over cooked. I had to remove the salmon because it tasted a little off toe. I was comparing it to a similar salmon I had at a neighboring restaurant which tasted very fresh. I really liked the crispy hash browns.

The Honky Tonk Hash Browns were much better. The eggs were done just right. The bacon was very tasty. Both dishes had a small tomato 'salad' (I think it was listed as a relish) nicely accented with parsley.

Surroundings: Small. Easy going vibe

This is a great breakfast cafe with good coffee. The sourdough bread they serve is also delicious. There's also plenty of options for every kind of person, whether it's vegan, keto, or anything else. I highly recommend the breakfast burrito or the omelette.

We eat here every odd day and all the meals are amazing. Also, most meals are the same price so you eat what you want and not based on the price

Food was actually really good, but don't use with Grab or Gojek because prices are not updated and up to 30% higher in reality. Options also are not updated and you put the Grab driver in a lot of stress to explain to you what is available at what price and what is not or much more expensive. Poor driver. Unprofessional restaurant. Wont order again.

Quintessential porridge (if you like your porridge with more flavour there’s sugar and salt available)

Does bulletproof coffee! Haven't eaten here yet, but the menu looks pretty awesome, and the food on other people's plates looked pretty good!

You can’t ever go wrong with food at Canteen. Huge menu, fully customisable options. My favs are the Corn Fritters with egg and the Crispy Chicken Burger. Friendly staff and pretty quick kitchen. Ohhh yeah, don’t forget to bring a Made’s Chocolate Cookie for a later snack. They’re the best in Canggu

Very nice and comfortable place to have all-day breakfast, although the menu is quite wide. The food was delicious, presentation is grear as well. Coffee was ok, not the best on Bali. Would definitely come again!

This froozen bowl is delicious. Great value! Its not big money but the prizes on the menu dont include a fee they charge into the bill.

Tasty, fast, and good service. "The Hulk" juice was delicious. Traffic is a little loud if you sit outside.

Really yummy food, good selection on menu, good value. Smoothie bowl was delicious, I’d have eaten more for sure. Burger wasn’t greasy at all!

Prices are reasonable and the service was great. We thought the coffee was fab, food was fresh and tasty.
We had avo smash (with eggs, added smoked salmon) and breaky ciabatta. We’ll be back!

The food was amazing and the service was good. The prices are okay for the quality. One star minus for the location on the busy street, it's very noisy.

It lives up to the hype — Conveniently serving all day breakkie til 5pm, I’d happily recommend the zucchini fritters with poached egg! It comes with a nice serving of avo salsa and some Indo chilli.

Nice food for breakfast. Had the breaky bagel, my partner had the vegan avo smash; both lovely.
Ice coffee was alright (a little under-sweetened for me, but that's my taste and was easily fixed) and the superseed smoothie was excellent.
Decent service and not too pricey either.

Update: waren noch einmal hier, da Essen gut war und Personal auch einmal einen schlechten Tag haben kann. Leider war das Personal diesmal noch unmotivierter. Werden somit nicht mehr kommen.

Die Preise sind ortstypisch.

Leider waren die Bedienungen etwas demotiviert. Lediglich eine von 5 hat sich um die Gäste gekümmert. Essen wurde sehr lieblos ohne Kommentar einfach irgendwo auf den Tisch gestellt.

Wer weniger Wert auf Service liegt wird hier jedoch keine Probleme haben, da alles andere sehr angenehm war.

Tasty and inviting place in the center of it all, services good food until afternoon and is meeting point for expats of the surrounding. Interior is " Endless summer" With classy surfboards hanging down the ceiling. Definitely good value for what you pay and far not as crowded as other hyped places where you need to cue to get anything.

I tried the porridge with banana and cashews. Hardly any banana, just a few nuts. Very overpriced, not recommended. Staff did not seem too happy about being there either.

Really nice food and coffee for a fair price. Not as expensive as most of the Western Cafés but same quality in my opinion.

Had a great breakfast here. The staff was nice, the kitchen was fast with the orders and the food was very tasty.
