We went there a few days ago based on a recommendation from our hotel and had a really delicious meal. We especially enjoyed the chicken satay and beef rendang.so good that we went there again today. You sit upstairs with a beautiful view of the surrounding area and can enjoy your meal in peace and quiet and without the noise of the street. Due to its location at the end of Bisma Street, the Warung is probably less busy, which is a total shame. The Warung is also easily accessible from Monkey Forest Road via a small connecting path for pedestrians and scooter users.

Really lovely local Warung with an awesome roof area. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly - we enjoyed the complimentary juice and welcome snack. The nasi goreng and burger were great, we also had delicious fresh juice. It was great value especially compared to the more fancy options within the immediate area.

Great service and the food tasted very good. Great view of the green. The location is a bit hidden, but it's worth it.

It was perfect for a quick bite. Relatively small portions and basic, but tasteful serving. Nice place with a view and kind service.

I really love this place. The service is always at the highest level, welcome drinks and snacks, candles in the evenings, the waiters are amazing and very attentive. Food with beautiful presentation and large portions) I think that in terms of price/quality ratio this is one of the best establishments in the center of Ubud. It’s a pity that it’s located a little away from the main tourist flows, but it’s 100% worth it!

Great option for local food at really affordable price. Service staff are welcoming and genuinely delighted to serve. Look forward to going back again!

Authentic Bali Food, stumbled upon by chance. Very inconspicuous from the outside but great service and very good food. We're here for the second time today and we've always really enjoyed it.

Lovely Warung with a great view. Friendly staff and quick service. Free shot of tonic water and pineapple and a sweet potato cake with a delightful topping. Meals were delicious! Cempaka Sandwich was our favourite!

Just came from dinner at Cempaka Warung. Absolutely beautiful restaurant. Staff was amazing. The service was outstanding, and the food delicious. We had a light dinner but were treated like royalty by the staff. One of the best restaurants we’ve eaten in in Ubud. Don’t miss this family owned gem!

I don’t typically leave reviews for restaurants that I like but this one was amazing. The service is incredibly attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. We were staying in Ubud for 2 days and came here twice.

My husband and I are staying across the road at Bisma Eight, and we are so happy to have this place so close!

We had a great dinner tonight, with the best chicken saté we have ever eaten. Downstairs doesn’t look like much, but don’t let that discourage you because upstairs is a really lovely rooftop area.

We will definitely be back!

The service is great at cempaka Warung. The owner ask you very kindly if you want to take your 2nd meal and the desert.

The manager is very open to everything you'll ask. On the top view you have a beautiful place to see what's happening in the street.

I’m a returning customer. The staff here is always amazing. Beautiful rooftop view that you can catch a good sunset on (not many places in Ubud I’ve found can offer this). Food is always amazing. The in house pine apple tonic water is one of my favourite drinks in Bali, topped with very good pricing. It’s worth getting off the main streets to visit Cempaka.

Beautiful resturant with delicious authentic food.
If you are a big eater the proportions are on a medium to small side. Myself and my companions are not big eaters and loved the food here!
Also the views and the music was amazing, soothing and very relaxing.

If you come to abisma - Ubud exactly you must visit that restaurant.
Acceptable price and very tasty food.
Especially try the Curry Chicken and Fajita. And Chicken Avocado saladXXX
