Chapter 2 Restaurant & Bar

Everything was great until we have to pay the bill and they add 4% fee for payment using card, even an Indonesian debit card - which is illegal as per Bank of Indonesia instruction. They don't put this in the bill but calculate manually and charge it to the card. So the bill and what they charged are different.

We came here most nights happy hour believe it or not those huge cocktails are $5 and believe it or not they are delicious. Sooooo good and we had an amazing waitress. Definitely recommend

Make sure you check this place out they have live music too.

Great food. Really good vibe. The staff seem a little unorganised. Would have given 4 stars, but I cant stand having my plate snatched off the table when I haven't finished my last month full. Seems to happen a lot in Bali.

We had the club sandwich and it was terrible, The chicken Schnitzel was nice, charged 4% to use the card

Karaoke with incredibly nice staff and good cocktails.
The security even drove us to the nearest ATM to get cash.

Wow has this place gone off … my 4th Visit in the past 18 months was good but slowly going bad …. The night before last t it was horrible. Ordered home made sausage rolls.yuck heated in microwave soggy at S&@T the cocktails were all ice, obviously to cut down on liquor. Never Again. The King and Queen sit up the front and never ask anyone how their meal is. They’ve read lace the little bloke who was great entertainment with a girl who’s out of tune and the acoustics is rats$&t

The food was ok, my wife's kebab wasn't that plump. I had duck, rice and a Balinese sauce thought it was ok.

The service with the drinks was great, that was the fastest mojito I got.

The ambiance wasn't great. We sat further back, it smelled like toilet stone and/or incense sticks. The volume was loud with live music and football playing at the same time.

Meals are great and picked excellent. Staff are very friendly and lovely smile's.
I would recommend this restaurant for your next visit.

We Stopped in for quick cocktail on way to dinner. Left 10 cocktails later and also had nice dinner there too!
Bonus of the place is no + tax and service rip off added to bill. And yes we left a very decent tip as the service was awesome

Do yourself a favour if you're in Bali and head to Chaoter 2! Cocktails are awesome and food is delicious.

Amazing cocktails! Cheap and friendly! Great spot for an icy treat in hot Bali! I had the madori splice for 50,000 no +, it was amazing!

You can have it all! Great menu with both western and Asian food! Quick and very friendly service, Awesome selection of cocktails happy hour until 8pm for 50,000 rupees. Meals are very affordable as well (55,000 -80,000). Live music and footy (NRL&AFL) on various screens to top it all!

Chicken parma was not good. Not sure what changed since last year. Chicken looked layered and unsure if it was fully cooked, texture seemed uncooked. Didn't eat it. Cocktails watered down. Beer is icy cold and come for some fun with the live band

Best Rissoles I have had! Better than anywhere I have had back home in Australia. Service was great and was an entertaining night with guests getting involved in the singing with the 2 piece band.

We love Chapter 2, a must every time we visit Bali! Great food, amazing cocktails, awesome atmosphere and friendliest staff!

Average breakfast no complaints but an 8% charge back for using a credit card. Shame shame, I would never go back.

Came here for the first time to celebrate a friend’s 40th birthday in October. This place was packed and pumping. Happy hour beer price 25’000rp. Food was amazing and all the crowd singing with the live band. I think the owners are Aussie and where actually assisting the bar staff when busy. They arranged a large cake and birthday banner. Surprisingly though a lady made a complaint about our group of 20 for being too loud, even though all the patrons were singing with the band. Great venue for food, fun and live music.

Very loud music, food was edible but nothing special. Cocktails are good with a lot of alcohol.

Staff were hard working and friendly. I just had some beef kabobs and a Bintang and it ran me about 200k so I thought for what I got and also for the quality of the food it was a bit expensive. The atmosphere was good and they had live music overall it seemed like a cool place to have a good time with friends and family.

My pork belly was dry and tough not what i would have expected

Great steak for an unbelievable price. The owners are great people and the staff super friendly even by Bali standards. One of the most pleasant surprises is that even though the prices are low for the quality of food, there is no plus plus, so no surprises when the bill comes. This is a pleasant surprise for Bali as often the hidden charges blow the bill out. This honesty of pricing seems indicative to Chapter 2's no BS approach. Order the rib eye steak. Australian beef at a price lower than what you can buy the meat at the supermarket in OZ.

I had a mix week take away lunch, the venue is well presented but Staff where rude and refused to remove them self from sitting down to assist myself. When asking a question to a staff member she refused to adress me and rolled her eyes

I had the meatlover pizza and chicken and avocado rissoto that was cold and bland. No one there cared to work or even acknowledge myself in the restraunt, very disappointing.

The service is disgusting, the staff constantly looks at their phones, there is zero attention to the guests.tables are sticky, dirty.the staff communicated with each other and did not pay attention to the guests.in order to call the waiter, you had to scream, and then get up and go up to one of them.worst place i have been to bali.

Tonight has been our third time at chapter 2. The chicken satay is delicious with the peanut sauce to die for. Staff happy smiley helpful. Will continue to go there. And the pineapple fritter fresh and yummy.

Great for dinner and lunch but avoid breakfast at all costs. The breakfast is an incredibly lazy attempt at providing a decent offering. There are many better places for breakfast that use quality ingredients, a decent amount of avacoda instead of a spray of avacoda, and the use of sourdough bread instead of cheap and nasty option of stale white supermarket bread. A real shame as the dinner we had was great. The only other negative is that they allow smoking at front section of restaurant so carcinogenic smoke can waft in where children are eating. Very poor form by owners who should know better about health risks associated with second hand smoke.

The atmosphere is very good, the staff are very attentive, the food is good and the drinks are okay but a little light on. All in all a good night.

Smoking allowed. Very sticky tables, which was unpleasant. The tables had been wiped but remained sticky. In the end I laid a paper napkin on the table to cover where my arms touched the table.

Loved this place, great atmosphere. Food was really good, I got the beef burger which is exactly what I needed after a big day. Prices are very reasonable, tax is already included. We went during happy hour and drinks were cheap too which was a bonus. Service was good too.

We go to Bali regularly and every trip make sure we eat here once or twice! Great prices and delicious food!

I went to your restaurant with my family for dinner. Live music was good. Lot of food options. We ordered lots of food just for my husband and myself. My two little kids wouldn't eat much.
We ordered veg pizza which was not that good.
Veg curry which was okay, veg sandwich was good and is served with fries, spring rolls was okay.

The only major problem they have is that they "say" it's a non smoking environment but the whole time we sat and ate dinner we were exposed to smoke which I complained several times. This was because they made us move to a table closer to the door and the guests seated on the table outside the door was smoking right inside the restaurant and nobody said anything even after I complained that I have 2 little children. So, we just ate in a hurry and left.

So, for non smokers and people with children, stay away from this restaurant!

I doubt know if it es because the Melbourne Cup was being played but the service was very slow. The scallops were also VERY tiny. Don't order them.

Reminded me of an aussie pub. Lovely atmosphere, good honesty food and cold beer. What more could you want

Loved it! Only downfall was every time i ordered the special cocktail it had ran out. Food was delicious, entertainment was perfect with lots of crowd interaction. We did get charged for 2 more cocktails that we actually didnt order or receive so i do recommend double checking the receipt.

Popped in after a good walk for a cold bear and a quick might to eat. Staff were excellent and service was quick. I had the chicken wings which were good. The menu showed some good food and will try to get back for a dinner. The pricing is average but looks good value for the money. It's very popular and has a good reputation. They had a gluten free pizza base on the menu but had run out on the day

Absolutely loved this place. Went on our first night just to see what the fuss was about, and ended up going about four or five times. Fantastic staff, even better food, and EVEN better drinks. Highly recommend.

Huge portions, great prices. Steak sandwich was ok, tasty but thin steak. Lasagne wasn't the best but the garlic bread and spaghetti were great. Atmosphere would improve if they turned off the TV.

Good stop off place on any legian shopping day. Clean very good drinks and cheap. Bern here 3 times now. Safe friendly and shaded from heat.

T-bone steak was raw and cold. Wifes satay sticks were cold aswell. Staff were more interested in talking to there Bali friend than servicing customers.

Not vegan friendly. Great service, entertaining staff dancing behind the bar, nice large open restaurant with high ceilings and modern design.warning for vegans I asked for a pasta no dairy, this does not translate here, my pasta was full of Parmesan which you can guarantee has rennet which is not even vegetarian, needs more vegan friendly options, at least one, and you must say no cheese no cream no milk as 'no dairy' is not very well understood in many places in Kuta. Vegan friendly (no animal/seafood meats or products including all dairy, egg, oyster sauce and fish paste) options advertised on the menu would be a plus.

Went here on a recommendation from a friend.
Arrived with a motorbike and place was full.
Just would. Have been nice if a staff member would let us know where we could park whilst had a dosent cars up my bum beeping there horns.
No help could be found and when I messaged the manager 5 minute latter was told to Basicly to go away we too busy to assist you.

Been a resident of Bali 22 years and it's pretty hard to find crappy service and terrible attitude from management like this.
Will never return to this dump.
