Agus makes great lines, shop seems clean. I would recommend coming with your own designs. But, it’s been 5 years and my lines still look like I got them last year. Sick job, would return.

Was over in Bali for a holiday over the Christmas period and knew that I wanted to get a tattoo whilst I was over, spent countless hours looking for the right shop and artist and then I eventually stumbled onto this little gem! Perfection from start to finish with great communication from the shop! Yande took his time with the design and apply the stencils and only proceeding when all parties were happy.

I sought out this place specifically for sanskrit wording and VEGAN INK! I had a great experience with @BenRock_tattoo at Conscious Arts Tattoo. All the artists do beautiful work. I thoroughly checked out the profiles on IG before I made the trip up to Ubud. Ben did my sanskrit tattoo just the way I asked, he spent extra time lining it up perfectly, looked at all the angles (arms held up, and hanging down plus some!) I couldn't be more happy with the outcome! And it's healing beautifully. Thanks, Ben!

Made n appointment and nobody turned up. Waited 3 hours, tried calling and messaging, no answer, store had different opening times to what my appointment was for which they didn't advise me. The store didn't even open when the sign said they would. I was very hopeful on this place as I had specifically chosen. They didn't even apologise. However I found an amazing tattoo studio down the road who accommodated me at the last minute, and I couldn't be happier.

Super laid back, clean environment, friendly team, very comfortable. Will definitely be back on future Bali visits!

I am so in love with my new body art! This was my first tattoo, and the whole team here made me so comfortable. They informed me of every step of the process, the shop is very clean, and the artists are amazing! They are super skilled artists, as you can see my tattoo is fine line and small, the artist still worked in shading for me as I really love that style! Instructions for after care are super simple as well. They have vegan ink too

I had a great experience with Koke at Conscious Arts. I made a design appointment where he listened to my ideas and in less than an hour he had come up with something that I loved! He was meticulous in his design and application and I could tell he is a real master at work. You pay for very high quality here and I could not be happier with the results!

I love my tattoo by Koke… it’s exactly how I wanted it and it was a complicated brush style! Vegan ink is awesome, it didn’t hurt at all, staff very nice and creative:) highly recommend this shop!

I got a recommondation from a friend to get my tattoo at Conscious Art and I'm totally happy with their work. Koke worked fast but excatly and I left with the small and (for me) meaningful tattoos. Will be back on my next Bali Travels:)

Got my forearm done a couple of days ago. I had booked in advance and my flight ran late and traffic was bad. I messaged the guys and they said they would wait for me.
When I arrived both Yande and Gede were waiting for me. They both assisted in the placement and opinions on style for the tattoo.
Yande was the artist and he did a great job. Clean, quick and efficient as well as precise. The tattoo is a Sumatran (Batak) Mask and has came out great and is healing well so far. It was also a difficult placement as it needed to go between two existing pieces but Yande got the stencil right first time.
The price was higher than other areas of Indonesia (Bali is priced higher than elsewhere, of course) however, based on the workmanship and attitudes of the guys there it was well worth it. Look forward to a return visit in future.

I am so beyond happy with their work. I was a little hesitant because I’m fairly new to Bali. They were very kind and patient in helping me choose what I wanted. I managed to finished up my sleeves in 4 hours with the amazing help of 2 tattoo artists.

Awesome tattoo shop in Ubud! My husband and I got tattoos by Yande and Koke during our trip to Bali. Great experience designing our tattoos with both of them. Both our tattoos are now healed without problem and we love how it looks.

Me and my girlfriend got tattooed here in our last trip to Ubud and we couldn’t be more pleased. The quality of work and ink is definitely worth every money, they are professional artists. We highly recommend the salon and we are planning to come back soon!

So, I live in Ubud but never felt confident about any local tattoo studios. Then recently I did some research and found Concious Arts. The reviews were great.
So I took the risk. Shop local they say!
I wanted a design I had done myself. They were more than happy to do it and my tattoo artist commented after doing it that he loved my design.
Agung was my tattoo artist and he was careful, precise, fast, clean and did an amazing job.
I need another piece reworked to bring out the clarity, Agung has a solution for it. I am going to definitely book it in wit him this month.
This studio is small, personal and the work amazing. I think the best of all my tattoos to date.
I highly recommend them.

I honestly don't know why people are raving about this place in the reviews.

My experience was different, which I am going to summarize below:

1) I had to push the studio and the author for a few weeks to deliver the drawing for the tattoo, after initially paying the deposit.

2) The artist didn't seem to care all that much to be honest, which was the impression I got after meeting him.

3) I got much better advices for my tattoo elsewhere. The tattoo artist was perfectly fine with positioning the tattoo as I initially imagined it, even though that wasn't the best idea, as the part showing under my t-shirt would look awkward, as suggested by other authors.

All in all, a disappointing experience and I am glad I took my business elsewhere.

Edit: the owner, who I think I was communicating via whatsapp seemed to be nice guy, and he was helping me push the author a bit to deliver the work, but still a very disaapointing experience nonetheless.

Aren was awesome with his consultation and giving me advice through a full sleeve concept design. He then went and sourced the appropriate tattoo artists that could fulfill my vision. The experience was excellent highly recommend.

Such a great experience it was fast (I can’t say painless haha) and super clean everyone was wearing a mask they even plastic wrapped the pillows and the bed. Artists and all the staff were friendly and funny!
