Incredibly cool place and delicious food! Large portions, I ate half, and they kindly packed the rest for me. I love it! The prices are also very low and the Cold Brew is the best I've had in Asia. I will definitely come here more than once.

Below average.food not good toasted brekkie not toasted? No butter oil or anything on the bread/toast avo.eggs dry.not a breakfast of note.coffee in a tin mug/ seems funky but not cool.under performed anxiety fill space

Fresh salad, good smoothie bowl, service was pretty quick. Please avoid visiting during lunch as it gets busy and quite hot outside.

We were in this cafe in the spring, everyone knew it, we couldn’t help but stop by. We arrived at opening time to avoid a long line, but we still had to wait a long time for food.
The salad portion is too huge, you would have to be a cow to eat so much grass in the salad, no one sorts through the salad leaves, there are a lot of spoiled ones. No taste, still bland. If you like bland food, then ok, personally I don’t. The smoothie bowl and croissant are normal, the drinks are so-so, I can’t even dare say that it’s delicious
Now I live next to this establishment, but so far I have no desire to return.
Maybe I'll come back sometime and then I'll update the review.

Good atmosphere! Bit too hot inside, though. I rarely leave a bad review, but we didn't have the best experience here.

The staff are very rude. They're blunt and ignore you. They look through you / look down on you. They dropped the plates on the table like you're an inconvenience.

The food was ok. The ice coffee looked dirty and is more of a frozen coffee.

We were very sick after our visit, and we can't say for sure it was definitely from Crate Cafe, but I wouldn't be surprised if the overall lack of effort produced unhygienic food and drinks.

Do not get the burrito the wrap was very soggy and undercooked it just fell apart into mush.

When we arrived the place was packed. There was a line to order. There was hardly any table to sit at. We placed our order and went looking for a place to sit. After finding a place. We waited lgt for our food and our drinks. Visually the dishes are beautiful but the taste is normal. The portions are huge. We didn't try the other dishes to decide. And we don't know if we'll go back.

I bought and Iced latte with Almond and it made me sick immediately after. The milk or coffee had gone off and this causes me good poisening for several days. Very disappointed considering how busy it was

Crate double charged my credit card and I haven’t been able to contact anyone to correct it. They do not respond to messages in Instagram or Facebook

Just love this place! Everything tastes great! Portions are huge, prices are good. Service is friendly as everywhere in Bali. Could be slow over the weekends, because they get totally packed. My favorite is Power Ranger breakkie.

Definitely it is one of the best place to eat breakfast, although it is very crowded but orders are ready very fast.

Always a winning place. Great atmosphere, great food, huge portion, great prices. Nothing to add except, the poached eggs are too cooked. ;o) This is our go to place for a great morning start.love love this place. It is a Must if you visit Bali/canggu. Good for breakfast/brunch or lunch.

Very cheap are big portions but the food is completely tasteless. If you are aware of what you are eating then this is not a place for you. The worst experience in Bali so far. Perfect for instagrammers to get a beautiful photo though!

A very nice open air for breakfast, a very simple layout and affordable price of meals. Few menus with vegan option, and the meal is slot hahahah

Some of the staff isn't very friendly. They don't really clean the tables. Breakfasts are mostly huge pieces of bread. Nevertheless, somehow the place is super crowded, and the view is nice.

Came to this place with very high expectations and I must say that we were definitely not disappointed by the food at this place.

The food portions where HUGE and the price was very reasonable (cheap). The food was delicious and very fresh.

The staff we found could be friendlier. We got to the Crate Cafe 40 minutes before it closed and the staff were not friendly at all. We got the feeling that they were doing US a favour by “letting” us have the last order an eat at their restaurant. Half way through our meal they turned off the WiFi despite it being like 20 minutes before they actually closed. Felt very rushed to eat and get out.

«The Barber» (French Toast, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, fried bananas, maple syrup), «Veto» (Avocado, Feta, salmon, poached egg, cherry tomatoes, toast), «Invigor 8» (Strawberry, Papaya, Pineapple smoothie) 150k Rupiah = ca. 11$ US.

The Veto was amazing, the salmon and feta complement the avocado perfectly. For my personal taste a bit too many cherry tomatoes but the taste was excellent.

The Barber is huuge. If you get that, bring some big hunger with you. All the ingredients mixed give the perfect mouth full of taste.

The Invigor 8 was not that cold but the taste was good.

We will definitly go there a couple more times.
The space is really great too, open on all sides, so it gets kinda hot. Also be prepared to share a table at certain times. The scooters are parked outside in the sun so they get pretty hot.

We had a great breakfast here, food was good and affordable. Usually the breakfast came with big portion and you will love it. Not only that, they also have a nice rice paddies view and parking lots

Great menu variety and price of dishes (~55) definitely cheaper than most other brunch spots around. Nice space but very busy and a bit trendy Food comes quick enough.

Do not recommend it! Not tasty food, I've tried 4 different dishes, and no one was good (for ordering, you have to stay 30 min in queue, than wait 30 min to get your meal. Too noisy, you are taking your lunch not like in restaurant, but like in the railway station (
I'm disappointed with this place!

Beautiful cafe and surroundings, however the food was lacking. I ordered a soy latte and the soy milk separated. For my food I ordered the corn fritter, which were really rather disgusting - it arrived with a mountain of salsa on top, meaning my corn fritter was soggy. The salmon on the side also tasted off, so I left 3/4 of my plate. I let the staff know how foul my food was, but they didn’t really care. Now I’m nursing a poorly stomach. I’ve only given 2 stars because the cafe and setting is lovely.

The best way to describe the food is hipster millennial. Avocado on toast, cold brew coffee served in a small bottle, etc. I would have given it 5 stars but one of my biggest pet peeves is when dishes value presentation over functionality. Order the “veto” dish and you’ll see what I mean.

Food is priced okay. Coffee is pricier compared to nearby options.

I really wanted to like this place, they serve up Australian style breakfast fare which I’m normally a big fan of. However, the scene is like all of the worst bros from frat parties the world over trying to pick up bikini clad girls in a location which is not in fact beach front at all! I guess that because the people who eat here are not seen as connoisseurs of anything, according to a conversion overheard while trying to enjoy my brunch, it’s seen as ok to make the vegan affogato way too sweet, to not replace it when this is communicated with the staff and to just generally scrimp on a lot of the details like table service, warmth and friendliness. The sourdough is a bit pink, why we may never know, but it was alright and the feta was still better. The honeycomb bits that came with the affogato, other than the unwanted surprise that they were also covered in overly sweet chocolate were almost great, so despite the South Beach meets bro fest culture and other conceits it was fine.

Best breakfast spot in Canguu. Everything is so fresh and made with attention to detail. The Avo Feta Toast with poached eggs was incredible. As well as the chia puddings. So vibrant! Prices are very affordable. And don’t miss their iced lattes.

Nice place, but you need to go behind the main building to a smaller building which is much less noisy than the main one. The queue to order was quite fast so I didn't mind. The food was good both in the means of amount and taste. But it was very unpersonal which is what I like at so many other places here.

Big tasty servings to a fair price. 55k for a main course or smoothie bowl.

A bit hectic because it's always a lot of people there but the kitchen is pretty fast in getting the orders out.

The smoothie bowls are really good, however I would recommend taking a chia instead of their ordinary smoothies, because their smoothies are kinda bland.

Amazing, delicious, healthy food at a great price. Massive portions and tasty coffee as well. Wish I could eat here every day, I did during my stay in Canggu.
