Recommendation from friends who had seen the show, and we brought our young kids. First the showtime was quite late for our kids to fully enjoy. The show only lasted ~1h which almost kept the kids attention. The narration of the different acts was in English displayed on small TV screens at the base of the stage which took your eyes away from the performance in order to read it. My kids appreciated the kid actor storytellers throughout the show. The performance, costumes and set design are beautiful. A good enough show to watch while in Bali for a quick overview of traditional folk dances found in Indonesia.
Body, movement, dance and great music, it's a shame it was over after 1 hour.modern interpretation.for those on a budget, book for example via get your guide, it's cheaper.we had a fantastic evening.
Amazing show with mesmerizing performances. A must see when in Bali. We booked VIP seats & were allowed to take pics on stage with all the performers. Our kids really enjoyed
The show is okay. It’s clearly a professional production. The lighting, stagecraft, pre-produced music, and special effects are of high quality. However, if you’ve ever been to Las Vegas or have a lot of experience going to professional dance/acrobatic shows, you would probably not enjoy this one very much, as it is rather underwhelming. The danced/choreography are relatively simple, and aren’t very crisp or in sync. There was one act that stole the show, the aerial rope couple. They were some of the best I have ever seen doing aerial rope. It’s a good show, it’s just not something that will blow you away. Great for families and kids, and for learning about different cultural dances.
Kreativitas yg tinggi ditampilkan disini, ragam tarian² yg mewakili hampir semua daerah² di Nusantara sdh sbgn besar tersajikan. Walaupun belum seluruhnya tentunya. Mungkin kedepannya nanti bisa lgkp semua tarian yg ada di Nusantara bisa tampil. On time mulainya. Harga tiket masuknya utk kelas atas deeh.
Masih menarik pertunjukan ini, saya sudah menonton dua kali. Pertama sekitar tahun 2013 dan kedua yg tahun 2020. Pemain-pemainnya sudah banyak berganti.namun masih sangat-sangat menghibur.
Amazing and epic indonesian dances show i ever seen. Even im indonesian. Tari tradisional dengan paduan pencahayaan, latar belakang, dan music yang luar biasa. Tiket lumayan mahal tapi akan sangat terganti dengan kepuasan pertunjukan yang keren.
A well directed show which offers wide variety of Balinese culture and religions. It consist of Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, and Hinduism. Some nice effects of light, water, and fire added to show. Amphitheater itself is nice and modern in luxurious part of Nusa Dua.
Over priced! One may not be able to enjoy the show because of lack of awarness/connect to bali's culture and traditions! It is more of an acrobatic circus!
The show is good and nice for those who never watch an opera like this. But if you do have the extra money just book the one at Bali zoo it's around 50% better. However if you're on a budget this could be a recommended one for you
The Devdan show is highly recommended. The show combines dancing, singing, aerial acrobatics, lighting and special effects to display some of the history, customs and culture of the Indonesian people. The theatre is a beautiful venue. It is wheelchair accessible and air-conditioned, which was a welcome relief from the Bali tropical. The show runs about an hour and a half and the tour included transportation to and from the event. Flash photography and video taping is prohibited during the show. Pictures may be taken when the cast makes their final appearance. Make sure to print vouchers in advance and contact tour company 24-48 hours in advance to confirm transportation details. Upon arrival, redeem voucher at theatre box office for tickets to the show and obtain a return transportation card. The theatre is located next to the Bali Nusa Dua shopping center, an open-air mall that contains several shops, restaurants, money changer (currency exchange), ATM, convenience store and other businesses. Unfortunately, we did not have a lot of time to tour the mall prior to the show but were able to purchase some inexpensive souvenirs at the Coco Mart. The theatre opens at 7: 15 pm and the show ended at 9: 00 pm. Theatre staff take souvenir photos prior to show that can be reviewed and purchased after the show. The price for two photos in a Devdan Show binder was 220,000 rupiah (15.11 USD). The show was very enjoyable and we would see it again if we travel back to Bali.
