Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel

We went to the restaurant there last night to pick up takeaway food. The prices are incredibly high, absolutely unjustified, and the food was nothing more than okay. And then we were charged 32,000 IDR for service even though we had takeaway. Very bad experience.

The building is older and damper than expected.
Be sure to bring a shower filter.

Breakfast is delicious. The swimming pool is great.

Great hotel. Great location and the friendly pool service from Murdikayasa and Jibrael and the rest of their crew is outstanding. Rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade but are big and comfortable. The only thing they could possibly get better at is that reservation staff read booking notes and provide what guests requests months prior to their stay. This is our 4th stay and will definitely return next year as the hotel ticks all the boxes we need.

The location was good, but the water pressure was weak and the shower booth hung from the ceiling wasn't great.
The air conditioner wasn't cool either.
It wasn't clean. Of all the accommodations I've stayed in in Bali, by my standards.it's the worst. I won't go there again.

Saya berkunjung kesini hanya masuk ke dalam ballroom. Saya sangat suka dengan konsepnya, memadukan antara konsep joglo dengan ornamen Bali.

Hotelnya sudah berumur, perlu banyak penyegaran agar Vibe nya lebih gen-z gitu.

Untuk pelayanan dan lokasinya luar biasa mantap. Akses ke pantai, tempat belanja dan kongkow-kongkow gampang bangeeettt.

Rekomendasi banget kalau ada budget yang cukup ya

Everything in this hotel including the facilities, atmosphere, food, pool, and the service were all great. Also all the staffs were friendly and nice; especially the hotel staff “Yuri Gro” was soooo kind and sweetI love her! I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. When you visit Bali, you should come here for sure

Hotel yang sangat nyaman.staf ramah.view bagus.variasi menu breakfast yang sangat variatif.next menginap disini lagi.

Plus: Hotel luas, Staf ramah, kolam renang luas dan langsung terhubung dengan pantai, suasana nyaman, kids clubnya bagus
Minus: Kamar bangunan lama, Gojek tidak boleh masuk hanya sampai pos security dan jaraknya dari loby lumayan jauh, Breakfast dan dine in room terdapat makanan mengandung babi (untuk muslim), tidak ada tempat duduk di Loby, sewa ban masih bayar

This used to be a mid-level hotel, but now it's Discovery, and it's been upgraded considerably. It is located in Kuta, so it is convenient for killing time at night, shopping, and eating. On the other hand, even though it is located in Kuta, the grounds are large, so it doesn't feel noisy and has the same atmosphere as a hotel in the Nusa Dua area (it feels calm from the entrance). There is only a historical hotel, and the staff are also familiar. Also, the customer base isn't just unnecessarily Westerners, and I think it's a calm atmosphere that you don't see Chinese people.

Hotel Bintang 5 yang sangat memuaskan bagi Saya dan keluarga, lokasi strategys, lgs berhadapan dengan pantai, kolam renang luas, fasilitas dll sangat bagus. Lokasi memuaskan.
Mohon keamanan di Kolam renang di perketat, karena anak saya kehilangan mainan, mungkn karena kolam yg terlampau luas.hati2 aja banyak maling

I loved it. Stuffs were very helpful.everyone speaks enough English to make communication very easy. Quick room service, cheep laundry service, nice bathroom with all the amenities.
The best thing is the quiet scenic beauty of the sea. Breathtaking view, nothing obstructing your view to sea. Right in the center of Kuta for easy access to everything yet inside it's calm enough to make you relaxed like an out of town resort. Best of both worlds. I recommend it for honeymoon and family vacation.
If I had to be nitpicking.
WiFi signs out every time we get out of room, you have to sign up again and again every where you go in the hotel. Bit tiring after a while, should be a better way.
Overall.was a Nice stay for us.

This hotel is very nice, and spacious, love the view and at some parts it's best I've ever seen among hotels I have ever been to.

Dort sind es fünf Sterne, hier wären es nicht so viele.
Im ersten Zimmer fremdes Blut an der Bettdecke - Zimmer gewechselt, wieder Blut an der Decke.
Man merkt auch, was sie von Frauen halten. Das Personal redete nur mit meinem Freund und schaute mich gar nicht an. An der Bar im Pool auch nicht.
Ansonsten trotzdem ein schönes Hotel.

Very nice location, near the beach, the rooms are very clean, staff is very polite. The prices are pretty expensive comparing to other restaurants or shops. Discovery Mall is right next to it. It is located in a very busy touristic area, so if you're looking for a quiet place i don't recommend it.

Always a friendly place stay. Great staff and restaurants with lovely grounds. Rooms are a little tired but still enjoyable and quiet. Great breakfasts but spoilt this time by inconsiderate smokers lighting up by restaurants and the pool. Pity smokers didn't think of non smokers but they were mostly Russian and Chinese obviously with no travel etiquette.

Very nice place to stay. The breakfast had so many variety of buffet.
Pool is fantastic. The beach is next to this hotel.

Set on 8 hectares of beachfront gardens, this luxe hotel next to the Discovery Shopping Mall is a 4-minute walk from Waterbom Bali water park.

Waaooow hotelnya bagus pelayanan nya juga bagus. Kamar mandi umum nya aja bersih. Manteb bener deh pokoknya. Hotel ini juga punya ruang terbuka yang bebas. Harganya tapi mahal hehe hehe. Tapi kualitas berbicara. Lokasinya strategist sekali dekat denagn mall hanya berjalan sedikit saja. Lokasi sekitar juga banyak yang menjual souvenir. Lalu lintas sering agak macet tapi tidak mengurangi nilai plus hotel ini

Its great, nice location with a great variety of shops & food options. I loved the market style shop with all the Balinese bamboo wind chimes, carvings, artwork ect.

Tempat yang bagus, nyaman, dengan pemandangan yang indah.
Sedikit saran, di bagian depan agar ditambahkan informasi jalur pedestrian, di lokasi sudah terdapat jalur pedestrian menuju lobby utama yang bagus, namun kurang terlihat.

Highly recommend. This was my first time travel to Bali for scientific conference on human behavior. And this place so comfortable. You can see the view of the sea and look at the sun goes down behind the hotel in the evening. This place is easy to find. When you walk through Jl. Kartika Plaza, you will never missed the hotel.

Big hotel at the convenient Kuta!

Went here for meetings and enjoyed the services, great food and friendly staff.

The room is spacious and it has huge pools, sunken bar, restaurants and the beach. Well, you cannot swim on the beach right there but you can walk along the beach to reach the area where you can swim.

Highly recommended.
