Dive Concepts Lembongan

WONDERFUL, one of the best experiences I have had in the past 30 years of diving. The Team at Dive Concepts is TOP NOTCH, I took 3 specialty courses Deep/Navigation/Tides & Currents. I was trained by Joy, Matt & Yasmin. All extremely experienced and fantastic instructors, all believing in the Educate, Demonstrate, Guide, and Enable philosophy of teaching. When I was doing research and looking for the right place, Dive Concepts rep Yasmin was extremely helpful, texting me: how to get to the island, what ferry to take, where to stay, restaurant recommendations and scooter rentals. Truly an amazing experience and I finished my Master Diver certification.

I did my first level of diving (open water diver) with Kassandra and it was a great experience! I appreciated that the lessons were in French because there is a lot of theory to integrate. Kassandra is a top instructor, both gentle and rigorous; she knows how to reassure when the need arises. These three days were intense but I took a lot of pleasure from it! Thanks to Kass and the whole team!

An amazing and fun experience! I just did the advanced course here and really enjoyed it. Max was a great teacher! He’s super knowledgable and always calm, friendly and supportive. The rest of the team is super fun too. The island itself is really beautiful and the dive spots we went to were mesmerising. I can definitely recommend coming here:)

Earlier this month I went diving with Dive Concepts Lembongan again and truly love this experience. I had the opportunity to accompany my sister during her open water course and so it was magical for the both of us. The Instructor was Max and we couldn't have wished for a better person to do the job. He is such a nice, calm and patient instructor, who gives you the feeling of safety underwater. 12/10 always recommend going diving with him!

A truly great atmosphere. Absolutely everyone at Dive Concepts is warm and caring. We came for our Open Water and had the pleasure of diving with Sara who is at the top! Serious but above all a lot of fun which made this experience even more beautiful. Thanks to the whole team:)

Best staff! Great atmosphere (especially thanks to JJ, Ratno, Rakka, Yudi, boat captains and people at the reception). And everything was safe. Big and comfortable boats. I enjoyed trips to see Mantas and Mola Mola and I’ve seen a few. Great experience as well as the prices, best if you take a 7 dives package, so you can go to Manta Point and Crystal Bay and on another day 3 Fun dives North of Nusa Penida.
Some wetsuits need repair/to be replaced though and 300k extra for MP is a bit too much, but all in all, very good experience

Did my Open Water Diver certification here and wouldn’t have had it anywhere else. What a fun and really helpful bunch of crew, especially the boat crew! Special thanks to our amazing instructor Imi who made it a really fun experience! Keep up the spirit, guys!

I did my Open Water Certification at this dive centre and it was awesome! Easy to book, the staff are all super friendly and safe. I had Yasmin as my theory and dive guide and she was great. She knew how to make a dive fun and safe.

I also had another instructor, Max (Maximilian), who was my dive buddy for most of my dives. He was just so great at teaching and made me feel so relaxed and safe. He knew A LOT and was great at pointing out marine animals. Had amazing communication and teaching style. Honestly couldn't have asked for a better teacher and buddy. So patient and kind and even took GoPro footage to share of me with manta rays:)

Got to see manta rays, eels, turtles, octopi, nudibranches, many many many fish!

Only thing I'd say is that the gear can be mildly faulty and may need an update. But this gave me a great chance to learn how to check my gear for every dive and how important it is.

It was my first dive ever, with my daughter. Joy did teach me and was very patient woth me. I couldn't think of a better teacher. I feld very save with him at 12 meters depth. Thank you Joy!

Please don't go here to dive. I had my worst experience here with the manager (local women with pink lipstick) and how unprofessional the dive shop was. I requested for a private guide for my mom for one dive and the manager said I'd have to pay for two dives because she will be on the boat that goes for two dives despite the fact that we'd agreed to pay extra for a private guide. After making a reservation, I cancelled a reservation for my mom after 30 min (12 hours before departure) due to weather (strong currents and big waves and she's an open water diver) and the manager insisted three times to keep the reservation. THIS PLACE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT DIVER'S SAFETY. There was very strong current on the day of diving and I still get chills from imagining my mom in the water if she were to keep the reservation as the manager insisted.
I still went to do three dives and the master gave the worst briefing ever, and most of the masters and captain were smoking in front of your face. I told the manager that I am a divemaster and I was paired with an advanced diver who only had 12 dives.master didn't cared to ask before diving and I had to join the other group under water.
During the second dive, one of the group had to surface early due to strong currents and they were picked up by another boat and were waiting for us. I've never seen this happen. Don't you go out and look for all the divers on the surface?
In addition, the master for my group he was keep touching me on my shoulder and my arm in a weird way that I had to move to the front of the boat.
The manager does not explain the dive sites and all she cares about is getting money from you.

I really enjoyed doing my openwater course at Dive Concepts. The people are really nice and all introduce themselves to you. They explain everything throughly and make sure you have all the knowledge to start diving. Instructor Joey makes you feel safe and in control every dive and really tries to learn you something, not only for the course, but also for your future dives!
Had a great time at DiveConcepts, if i had more time i’d do my advanced here as well! Maybe next year!

What to say when they have been already so many excellent reviews! A special mention for Freddy who manages remarkably this dive center (avec flair et doigté), for Yasmin who was my instructor for the SSI open water course certification (besides being an amazingly competent, pedagogue both for theory and practice, and dedicated teacher, she is also a very charming one), for the rest of the team composed of a bunch of young laughing, joking and caring Indonesians. Good service, good athmosphere, good instructors, good prices. This has 2 small drawbacks: equipments (wetsuits and regulators) can be worn out and the boat and dive sites can be quite crowded and busy. It was also funny that being so focused on Yasmin for 3 days, my buddy and I were not tuned enough and ready for the tests without her in the middle. Anyway I just can't wait for my future dives!

Absolutely awesome experience, my dive instructor Reymon was the best. He is a great teacher and explains everything so well. I always wanted to scuba dive but wasn’t sure how much I’d like it.

After my first dive with Reymon I saw moray eels, manta rays, stingrays, turtles. I was hooked I ended up getting my open water dive license because I loved it so much.

If you want to enjoy your dive Reymon is the best, he’s such a funny guy and you will absolutely love diving with him.

We did 5 dives with them and it was a very good experience (nice staff, good boat and captain, group of 2, used looking but well working equipment, top divesites).
Our dive master/guide Ali was a sweetie and we felt very safe and comfortable any time. Recommended 100%. English no problem

I did a couple of days diving with Dive Concepts. Well organised and dive groups are made based on experience. Plenty of mantas but we were unlucky with the mola mola as it’s still a bit too early in the season for our visit. The 5mm wetsuit could be replaced though as they are well used and feel more like 3mm and it was freezing underwater. It’s a busy dive centre and the trips get booked out days in advance so if you plan to do multiple diving let them know in advance so they can accommodate. It would be good to vary the trips more, since we didn’t want to go to Crystal Bay/Manta Point again, we had to look for another dive centre for our final day of diving. Lunch was included and served after the dives, vegetarian, spicy and delicious We did request a vegan one as well but this didn’t get passed on but it was easy enough to pick out the one piece of egg.

Incredible place to learn diving, the instructors are all very professional while also making the learning process very fun! The dives were awesome we saw some huge manta rays and many beautiful species of fish!

I’ve had a really good experience with Dive Concepts, I got my advanced with Freddy who has been super supportive. All the guides are patient and friendly and the equipment and trips have been comfortable. We also got great pictures and videos! And you can’t beat the prices. Highly recommend!

Awesome dive shop. They are super friendly and helpful. The dive spots I visited during my trip were new to me and we saw tons of colorful tropical fish and coral reef.

Had an amazing experience with Patricia! Never thought I'd go scuba diving, nevermind that I would feel so calm and safe while doing it! Patricia really knows her stuff and is able to teach you how to keep your cool under the sea! Thanks for a great experience!

Excellent dive center, with pick-up included from Legian area 7: 15 & speedboat to Lembongan 8: 30 for 100k extra. It's a French owned & speaking dive center, all staff was helpfull and with a good vibe: Yaz & Farid. Manta Point 150k extra worth, I saw 1 Manta despite the day before they don't found. Many turtles, bluespotted stingray, cornetfish, flounder. Good drivers, better speedboats like day trips, well organizated (no dead time), good quality equipment, felt safe. If you dive to Lembongan you have a 5min walk from speedboat to dive shop for equipment check, walk back to their small boat for the 2 dives, so no lunch, only water &instant coffee/tea.

Look no further. Unquestionably the cheapest and best value diving with fun/knowledgeable/safe staff.

We took the Advanced Adventurer course. No words to recomend this dive center, gear is in well condition, well located, good prices and the best staff we have met so far in this underwater world! Our instructor Sara was just sick! So passionate for diving and teaching every single technic! Great knowledge of the dive sites, coolest mood ever and so f* smily all time! THE BEST DIVES EVER!

We choose DC for your first experience with scuba diving and it was absolutely great. Our instructor Tito was friendly and he helped us with everything what we needed. Around Amed there are many diving companies, but this guys we can definitely recommend. Thanks Tito one more. And price was good also.

Great dive centre, with access to a range of excellent dive sites. I completed my advanced open water and my instructor Jade was brilliant; she really helped with me achieving perfect buoyancy, she has great knowledge of the marine life at the dive sites and taught me alot about sharks. Highly recommended

The diving experience was amazing thanks to the kindness and patience of our instructor, Maeva, really sweet girl! She was very professional and reassuring.

It was my first diving sessions so I was affraid. The courses before the diving was well done and precisely explicative of all the different step which helped me gain confidence. Moreover, the instructors speaks several languages (French, Spanish, English and Balinese).

For the human experience, the staff is really nice, attentive, helpful and flexible.

For the transport, they took care of booking our transport which is one of the most reliable one of Bali, no bad surprise and on time (For having tried more then one company).

I would recommend taking picture while diving, it would be a nice souvenir.

Amazing diving experience. 5 stunning dives including Mola Mola sighting. Having had an excellent experience earlier in our holiday, diving with Dive Concepts Tulamben, we were very keen to use this company again on Lembongan. They didn't disappoint! I'm sorry I don't remember the name of our dive instructor. He was wonderful and instilled so much confidence. The whole team were a real pleasure to spend two days with. Thoroughly recommended for professionalism, safety and fun!

We had a blast with our dive instructor Sergio! He is a great instructor and very patient. I did the discover dive with my father and sister to introduce them to scuba diving. This is a 2 day course (you have to stay one night), with on the first day a pool session to make everyone comfortable with the diving gear and with the second day going to beautiful diving points such as Manta Point and Crystal Bay. It was a big succes: they both want to obtain their Open Water. I also believe this is because of Sergio's great enthusiasm about diving!

I did my Open water cours in this very good, professional and cheap dive-company. My Instructer Yudi was very friendly, helpful and a good teacher. I was very happy to had him as Instructor and not someone else.

I had the best diving initiation, I was the only one in the beginner group, so it was literally a private lesson, I was so lucky! My instructor was Jade, I highly recommend her, she takes all the time needed to make you understand the skills! (She was speaking french, which was a BIG plus)

Really good diving school! I did my SSI Open Water. My instructor Jeremy was really good! He explained the theory really clear and he wanted to make sure you understand everything. The divespots were amazing, especially Manta Point was stunning. Can’t wait to dive with this company again when I’m back in Lembongan.
