Experience 5 start Indonesian fine dining "like a king and queen" for one evening.

3 courses, with live traditional dancing, recommend 1.5 to 2 hours.

The service was absolutely wonderful. Thank you Widya, Yuka and Novia for making our night one to remember.

The hotel is another world, eliete atmosphere, recommend to arrive at 6 for the champagne opening event

Highly recommend

Judging from the portion size alone, this is a pretty expensive restaurant.don't expect to be full.

Meals are set meals and cannot be ordered à la carte. There is a Kids Menu for children. The overall atmosphere is excellent, the taste of the meals is delicate and bold, and the explanation of Bali's cuisine culture is very good. There will be a traditional Bali dance performance during the meal.

Located in the woods of the hotel, it is quiet and solemn. Well worth a visit.

This is a traditional Balinese restaurant in the spectacular St Regis hotel. You get to experience the beautiful garden location in an indoor/outdoor seating place. They prepared a vegan menu for us, including tofu/tempeh satay and fish free sambal. The main feature was a sharing plate with seven different dishes, all featuring local vegetables like coconut, jackfruit, banana blossoms, small eggplant, etc. They even prepared a vegan dessert, the highlight being a crepe with sweet coconut filling. It is pricey (what did you expect inside the St Regis) but well worth it for a special meal for the service and food quality.

I'm a real foodie and never give bad reviews. How ever the satay chicken sticks were cold no satay taste and very dry. Beef salad, meat dry and salad not fresh in any way. Very disappointing.

Traditional food of great refinement! Atmosphere laden with oriental tradition! An evening spent in this location opens your door to the refinement of the mystical east!

If you’re in Bali you must go to Dulang! But, you must go hungry. This is a traditional Balinese food and it is the best food in all of Bali. The staff at the restaurant are kind and attentive. We are vegan (don’t worry, it’s typically a meat heavy restaurant) and they didn’t miss a beat! Very on top of it. They start you off with a little drink to aid digestion. Then some delicious sambal and Balinese crackers. Up next is a delicious soup followed by a massive main course, featuring a variety of veggies and protein dishes. The evening ends with an array of Balinese deserts. We had 5 different deserts! You will also enjoy live entertainment - old cultural dances performed during dinner - It’s a beautiful experience. In fact, we enjoyed it so much, we went twice. Highly recommend!

The experience at Dulang was very unique and we'll thought out giving anyone who enters a true taste of Baleneise culture from a wide variety of food, dance and even the conversation with the team who was explaining all the details of the dishes. If you are at the St Regis Bali do not miss this opportunity as there are only limited seats and a reservation is required.

Everything was exceptional! Love the attention and service provided to us. It was a dining experience one should get in Bali. The place was well decorated, very classy and romantic. The food was done right, from appetizers down to the desserts. Flavors are bursting but not overwhelming.

Our experience at Dulang was simply amazing! Upon arrival we were greeted and quickly brought to our table even though we were almost 1 hour early.

The food served was a fantastic tour of Balinese cuisine. Everything we ate tasted fresh and cooked to perfection.

What really set the experience apart was the fantastic service provided by Tusti and Putri. They handled every need and answered every question. If we are ever back in Bali, we will definitely return.

What a unique dining experience! Dulang means "royal plate" and for one night, you are treated like royalty - a King and Queen. We were greeted at the entrance, given frangipani flowers to put in our hair, and seated. It is an intimate setting, with a few tables under an outdoor roofed setting. The whole experience was seamless. Suyasa introduced himself as our waiter for the evening and explained the origins of Dulang, how the restaurant shifted to focusing on Balinese cuisine, and how the meal will be served. As a welcome, they also washed our hands with some scented water from the King and Queen of the Badung regency, it smelled so good! We ordered two glasses of Riesling, which paired perfectly with our meal.

Started with a refreshing traditional Lomoh drink or also called Jamu (turmeric), and 3 different kinds of crackers - peanut, shrimp and rice - paired with 3 kinds of sambal from different Balinese regencies - sambal matah, sambal embe goreng, and sambal tomat.

Next up was a warming beef soup from the Karangasem Regency, "Soto Sampi Karangasem". One of the best beef soups I have tasted, though the beef was slightly tough and difficult to chew. Be wary of the chili sambal, it is very spicy! Just a small drop will do, it's very potent!

From the start to this point, the meal felt a little rushed, as they were bringing dishes to our table back to back. I did wish there was more time to relax and take more photos at the beginning, though slightly difficult given the dim settings. Although before we started the soup, Suyasa informed us that the main course, Dulang, would take another 20 minutes to prepare. So that gave us some breathing room.

When the Dulang came out, we were speechless, it was so impressive and beautiful! My favorite dishes were the beef satay, long bean and papaya salad, duck in the bamboo tube, and banana leaf baked fish. It was a real treat and a feast for two! We were so stuffed and still tried to make room for dessert, which we thought were just 3 small plates to share. Except, it was 3 small plates each! Wow! It consisted of Limpung (fried banana dumplings), Dadar Gulung (pandan crêpes), and Bubur Ketan Hitam (black rice porridge with coconut sorbet). The Dadar Gulung is superb and not too sweet (must be the palm sugar). It doesn't end there! To conclude the meal, another waitress Tusti brought over the final Balinese sweet, Jaja Laklak, a rice cake with grated coconut and palm sugar, and a cup each of Balinese black tea and coffee Luwak. Tusti was also very kind to tell us about the regencies of Bali and their specialties. She and Suyasa were excellent hosts, and accompanied by the delicious food, Balinese Gamelan (bamboo instrument), and traditional Balinese dance, our experience at Dulang was truly memorable journey!

We are visiting Bali and my husband and myself thought we absolutely had to try Dulang, the Indonesian restaurant at the St. Regis.
With the restaurant being in the St. Regis it had to be good! Right? On the contrary, the service was awful. The food came out before the wine was ordered, we ordered a rose wine, unfortunately they had ran out and suggested us taking the other bottle, which was triple the price.good thing we asked, if the price was the same.furthermore, the bar must be far away because, it took forever to get anything from the bar.it almost seemed that the restaurant was an afterthought, the location was odd, so far from the kitchen and bar! Also since they serve only rijsttafel, the items were far from fresh.
I believe they had too many new waitstaff without real supervision nor training!
Such a disappointment especially from a hotel such as the St. Regis.
We won’t be back!
