The best Mexican food in town imho! Got here out of curiosity because I'm a fan of quesadillas and been back for numerous times since. Their plate of nachos was festive for an appetizer. Keep it up and see you soon!

We loved the food! Best Mexican around.very tasty fajitas and burrito. My daughter loved the homemade tortilla chips so we got 2 orders!

It's fine. A bit too much cheese on the enchiladas tho (yeah, even I can't believe that's a complaint but they were quite stingy the chicken). Also, they only serve vegetarian or chicken options of their food.again, it's fine but that doesn't excite me much. The margarita was not very good at all - it had just about enough tequila, but essentially tasted like watered down lime juice with a hint of tequila and a salted rim.

They have clearly shortened their menu during this pandemic. Though it's understandable that restaurants would trim their menus down when there's not much volume, to have chicken as the only meat on the menu takes this rationale a bit too far. Chicken quesadilla, chicken enchilada, chicken tacos, chicken fajitas, etc. It's either chicken or vegetarian. Food wasn't bad, and the service pretty good, but menu was a let down though.

Had a great time here! The flavors were pretty spot on and reminded me a lot of the burritos and enchiladas we have back home in California. Bonus: Very tasty margaritas during happy hour, 2 for 100k!

Small portions and the price is high compared to what you can get elsewhere. The food was quite bland and not tasty.

The food was fine. When they brought the account, they charged you 10% of service, plus 15% of GOVERNMENT TAX. Be careful because as they are not included in the menu price, the account becomes high (in this case more than 80k). It is not well indicated in the menu, as always with a very very small letter that is not visible

Good Good Good. The Calimari was the best I had on the island HANDS DOWN. My partner and I dont really eat at a restaurant if they dont have Calamari and this was the best I have had in my entire life.plus the cabbage and the quanity was just amazing. The fish Tacos. I could go on but seriously they FEED YOU and your not left hungry ten minutes later and it is GOOOOOOOD. MARGARITAS ARE SMALL AND STRONG. Staff is sweet not too much english and not hispanic. Ask to sit on the roof and watch turning the fan on you to avoid any bee attacks. We ate here twice in our four day stay. That good.

Best calamari we've had and their margaritas are powerful even at happy hour. It was super nice to have a break from Indonesian food and have a taste of Mexico. We had the carne Asda burrito and pescado tacos which both were so fresh and well seasoned. Thank you so much!

Lovely visit to El Mexicano! We fancied something different to the usual food we had been eating and stumbled across this Mexican. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Vegetarian options were interesting and tasty! There was a musician playing at the bar next door which was very good as well! Pineapple juice was delicious and the vegetable burrito was very fresh and light! Would recommend.

The food is amazing, we went there 4 times and had tacos, quesedillas, burritos.everything was amazing. The colorful decoration is beautiful. There are also seats upstairs. The staff is friendly. Therefore I definitely recommend this place.

Amazing food and service for a very affordable price right in the centre of Ubud. I ate lunch or dinner here almost everyday during my stay in Ubud.
