The hotel needs renovation. The rooms were old, the air conditioning didn't work well, but they didn't help us. Dirty towels, all stained, towels and bed linen were not changed during cleaning. Unpleasant smell in the shower. Not a tasty breakfast, few good vegetables and fruits, old coffee makers. In addition to the whole day of repairs around the pool, the only pleasant place in the hotel was spoiled by the sounds of construction all day and even late at night!
Everything was very nice the breakfast has various options and the room was perfect the furniture was very well designed and safe for my three year old son the bathroom was neat and the toilet was high tech. The pool was maintained and they have a pool breakfast too the meeting rooms were perfect and also the bathroom near the swimming pool. It is a three min walk to jimbaran beach and staff was very polite. Fox Hotel made our vacation in South Bali very nice. It is also close to the airport.
We got a nice big room, clean. The staffs are pretty and helpful. Rooftop swimming pool with bar and small gym which is sufficient. The local is good, 5 minutes walk to the Jimbaran Beach, and to the big street also to get to the convenient stores. Overall, all positive!
We are currently in the hotel. We are very disappointed. There is construction work every day from 8: 30 a.m. To 5 p.m. You can't sleep in on your vacation. And we were not informed about this when we booked. If we had known this beforehand, we would definitely have chosen another hotel for our “relaxation vacation”. You can't relax at the beautiful infinite pool either because there is also construction work going on there. Our room is fine. The bed is large, but the bed linen was not completely clean. Just like the towels in the bathroom. These are very gray and getting old - they smell a little after using them once. The staff is very friendly. In summary, we are really very disappointed because we wanted to have a nice relaxing holiday here in Bali and we took a long way to get here and sometimes we can't relax in the hotel.
You can say that it's a hidden gem, located a little bit inside but it's very close to the beach (only 5 minutes' walk). Nice, friendly and helpful staff. The pool and gym are located on the rooftop, love the infinity pool vibes and the beautiful views.
We stayed 2 nights and the hotel was perfect in every way, from the staff to the breakfast, which was very complete. It is located 5 minutes walk from the beach.
We returned to Fox Jimbaran Beach hotel having stayed there 3 years ago and having had a great experience, however this time it's been deeply disappointing. And I don't usually write negative feedback but this has to be addressed.
Firstly, this time we booked the executive king suite as a treat since it was a special occasion for my husband's birthday. Let's just say besides being a bigger room, that's it. There are very basic toiletries in the bathroom no shower cap, no sanitary bags, no cotton swabs etc. The seat of the toilet looked broken or at least the screws are undone, so maintainance isn't regularly done. The sink tap's water pressure is too high so is spraying water everywhere as soon as you open it. Although we checked in at 2pm we had to wait for towels until after 9pm so couldn't have a shower after our travels.
The pool area is under served, the parasols didn't even have the fabric on, so get ready to be roasted by the sun. There used to be plastic beds in the shallow part of the pool, they are gone. There was no basket to put the sunbathing towels after leaving the pool.
Directions signs are poorly placed or missing altogether, for example, you reach your designated floor and have to guess where your room is. There are 50 rooms per floor, God forbid you have one of the middle or high numbers you'll be searching for a long time with no signs to direct you. Inside the room there are no information if the water and coffee are complimentary or what. Fox used to have a strong branding with little touches everywhere but now it just feels like no one has done marketing in 3 years.
However it's the spa service that disappointed the most and the consequent service of the reception staff. Last time I came here, I had a very nice massage so this time too I booked one. However, the spa no longer exists on the 6th floor where it once was, no sure whether it's under renovation or what because again.there's no information. I found a sign in the elevator that the spa is on the Ground floor. It's not. I went to reception and asked. I was told the therapist could come to my room. Okay so I booked an appointment for an hour later for a 90 Min massage. At the designated time no therapist turned up so 5 min later I called reception to check where the therapist was and I was told the previous client extended the massage by another hour.
So I asked 'and this is the only therapist you have? ' And I'm told they have 2 but the other is off today. So they are saying a hotel with 200 rooms currently booked at full capacity has only 2 people working on spa duty and no back up staff when one or both are off? Also, why is the staff accepting to extend a client's appointment without checking for other appointments first. If someone has booked the therapist should inform the current client that they cannot extend. This basic procedure in every I have ever visited in the world.
Furthermore, I was only informed because I called reception, had I not called I would still be waiting. This is not the kind of service I experienced last time we came and it deeply saddens me. I understand like all the tourism sector in general, this hotel has been affected by the pandemic, however it's also one of the hotels in this area that promotes the most so it's fully booked for the holidays but feels like they didn't prepare for it whatsoever.
We booked the best room they have thinking it would be a little more special returning and celebrating our special occasion but frankly it wasn't worth the money and I don't think we'll stay at the Fox the next time we're in Jimbaran.
On the positives, it's near to the airport, beds are comfortable and it's next to Cuca Bali, voted on Michelin's guide as one of the best restaurants in Asia which I'm happy to vouch for.
Pelayanan hotel sangat baik dan ramah sekali, kamar sangat luas dan terang, namun air mineral sangat kurang karena hanya mendapat ukuran 330mll sebanyak 2 botol. Untuk sarapan, selama 2 hari saya tidak menemukan nasi goreng dan sosis, Saya menginap selama 2 malam, ketika datang belum bisa check in sehingga saya melaksanakan sholat zuhur di musholla basement, namun mushollanya seperti tidak terurus bau pengap dan panas.
Roomnya nyaman dan besar. Posisi hotel dekat dengan jalan utama dan dekat dengan minimarket dan warung makan. Sarapannya variatif dan enak-enak. Setiap sarapan saya coba hampir semua menu dan semuanya uenak rasanya. Ditambah manager FnB nya pak Ferdinand sangat ramah selalu menyapa dan memperhatikan kebutuhan tamu.
Hotel yang sangat nyaman. Untuk tipe junior suite sangan nyaman, ada 2 bathtub di dlm kamar (1 bathtub biasa di kamar mandi dan 1 lagi jaccuzi) di sediakan juga JBL d kamar. Ada 2 Tv.
This is not a 4 stars hotel: the rooms are old and dirty, you just have one towel per person and the maintenance is so inefficient that we had water leakage from the ceiling and the bathtub. The only good thing is the pool, really amazing
Pilihan yang bagus untuk yang cari hotel dekat dengan sunset view di pantai.tapi untuk menu sarapan dan service perlu ditingkatkan.menu breakfast dalam 2 hari sempat tidak berubah.dan di kamar saya tidak dapat water heater.
I found plastic in my food - TWICE. I complained both times and they did absolutely nothing. They charged me full price for the meals even after I complained multiple time’s and asked for a refund. Really bad service at reception and they don’t know how to handle complaints. They just stop answering your calls and offer no resolution. Really disappointing
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, and it was lovely! Breakfast was great! Room was big and beautiful and it was very nice to relax by the pool! Thank you for an amazing stay Definetly will come back! Adi
I enjoyed staying at Fox Jimbaran. My room was comfortable, spacious with the wooden floor. The staff's was friendly and help full Also you can watch sunset and the plane while swimming in the roof top. Nice stay, thank you

Very nice hotel. If you are looking for the perfect hotel close to the airport but still get an amazing vibe, this is it. It wins with its rooftop pool overlooking Palm trees and the ocean. Try the healthy breakfast.
The hotel itself was okay. Our room was clean and comfortable, except for the tea box which had ants in it. However, the very friendly hotel staff immediately swapped it out. The breakfast was buffet style and there was always a good variety and mixture of western and Asian foods to choose from. There is an infinity pool on the roof but it's not really for swimming since it's quite small and only about a meter deep. There is a lovely beach about 5 mins from the hotel and there, as a hotel guest, you are entitled to free chairs and umbrella which is a real plus. All in all, it wasn't a bad experience but not the best we had in Bali.
The best breakfast I ever experienced in my life for an affordable price. The hotel is beautiful, famous, the staffs are super friendly and the foods are delicious.
