We really enjoyed the stay here and wanted to stay even longer. Nyoman, the host, explained everything we wanted to know about the Balinese culture. The bungalows and the ocean view are amazing! Also the pool was amazing. Everything was nice and clean. We also had our own outdoor kitchen at our bungalow. This is the place to slow down and relax. But you can also visit a lot of places here. Like virgin beach, tukad cepung waterfall and the watertempel. You can find everything you need here, like small supermarkets and restaurants. Their own warung was soooo good (the red snapper fish is a must!). We felt really welcomed here. Thank you Nyoman for having us, we travelled for a month trough Bali and this was definitely a highlight!

Both the accommodation and the restaurant are top! The people are absolutely accommodating and friendly and will help with everything. The accommodation is very remote with a view and 7 minutes to the sea, where unfortunately you cannot swim because there are cliffs. Personally, for me it's definitely worth it for the price!

Frankipani Inn is outside of Seraya! The complex is on a hillside, the individual bungalows are far enough apart and have unobstructed sea views! Even the pool and its own warung had a sea view! In the small family-run corner shop you can buy the essentials!
Also highly recommended are the breathtaking excursions from there with your guide or the boss himself, where you can get to know very special impressions of Bali.

Quiet location and super nice staff! It is really Balinese family and you feel very comfortable.
The food and value for money was excellent! Really very tasty! Large portions at a reasonable price.

You can go there with your eyes closed!
We had a wonderful stay at the Frangipani Inn. The bungalows have a sea view, and are clean and very comfortable, with a kingsize bed, a bathroom overlooking nature, impeccable air conditioning and even a hammock on the terrace. There is also a small swimming pool with a view of the sea. Nyoman is a very warm host and gives good advice. His English is excellent. Thanks to him, we learned a lot about Balinese culture and the Karangasem region.
Moreover, the points of interest in the region are numerous, it is entirely possible to stay there for a week and explore, the activities and possible visits in the region are numerous:
Famous temples (notably besakih, goa lawah, lempuyang…), palaces (tirta gangga, taman ujuntg, puri agung karangasem), villages in the rice fields (sideman, tenganan), waterfalls (we loved Cupeng), white sand beaches (virgin beach) or black sand (pantai bias lantang) or even scuba diving (Amed & Candidasa).
The Frangipani restaurant is very good too - and all the better because there are no others nearby.
It is access to the Frangipani Inn which is the most difficult, because the village of Seraya is rather remote compared to the major tourist points of interest on the island (about ten kilometers north of Amlapura). But it is this off-the-beaten-track aspect that will add to the charm of your stay at Nyoman. Matur suksuma!

Great hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Free tea and coffee in your room. Dinner and massage available. Nyoman helps you wherever he can.

Nyoman and his family are the best. Nyoman is a true gentleman and takes care of everyone very well.

Such an amazing place to stay! A beautiful rooms, very tasty food, unbelievable view and incredible host! You definitely should visit this place just to talk with Nyoman after the dinner. If I could rate this place with 10 stars — I’d do that.

The gado-gado and tuna steak is awesome. Great to come across this hidden gem when we are staying at the nearby resort. The food and service is great.

This villa's were basic but you have everything you need. It's nice to experience the local Village away from the tourism. Price quality it was perfect for ous. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpfull. The food in the restaurant is super! Try the local fresh tuba!

I can highly recommend Frangipani Inn & Restaurant. The staff is very friendly and you get a free juice on your arrival. You have a direct view on the ocean from the terrace of your personal bungalow, which gets cleaned every day by the staff. Because there are only 4 bungalows the pool actually is a private one: D We never had to share it with someone.

To get around you can either rent one of the scooters of the owner, Nyoman, (very helpful and fun to talk to) or let him drive you around in a very comfortable car:) Also to mention is the super! Tasty food at Frangipani Restaurant! Me and my friend both are of the opinion, that it was the best food we ate in Indonesia.

Also the owner and his family are very relaxed, so we got fresh breakfast (with fresh fruits, hot drinks and eggs) even after 11am (because we slept so long) :)

We stayed 4 nights at that place and already miss it. We will definitely come back again!

We were looking for a place for lunch and just arrived during the rain with nobody inside. But after a few minutes guys made for a us lovely food made us happy. Thank you!
