This Restaurant is the best in town. We like food also their bowls are very delicious, handrolls are perfect. Quality fishes and services. Staffs are very friendly and they know very well what we need to order. I came here three times but I don’t understand why is always empty? You should come and try it please, you will be happy to eat here

Sooo in loveee with this place. Love how they decorate the place with cute lampions on the walls, the colored gothic windows gave myterious aura yet inviting. The music blend well with the whole set up. And the attention to small details are very well thought, the chopsticks and table setting is match with the theme of this place. Koen in japanese means Garden and they print fish and flowers on their table mat which represent little things that you can discover in the garden. The hanging low dim light adding up the sense of romantic and relaxed senses. Food wise is a bit pricey but its worth with the experience. You can choose to sit at the sushi bar or on the table. Will come back for more …

Sushi Koen Authentic Japanese cuisine with fresh ingredients, I ordered Omakase Sushi Koen, and was very satisfied with the food served.

This was a stunning suprise. If you like Japanese/Omakase this is a must visit in Seminyak. We got a seat at the bar and watched the chefs prepare the most delicious dishes.

Utterly disgusted. If you are looking for a classy sushi omakase experience then save your money and go elsewhere. It's overpriced sushi train using expensive ingredients and a fancy decor. The service was horrendous with staff chatter as I was trying to enjoy the omakase experience. I went for the koen omakase (most expensive) and was told that the sea urchin was out and they would replace it with foie gra which I was fine with but they combined it with the ootoro which completely overpowered the ootoro (fattiest and most expensive cut of the tuna). During the course they said that the a5 wagyu was out which was not mentioned at the beginning. If that had been said then I would've opted for the 2nd highest omakase without the expensive cuts. After some confusion among the staff they said that the sea urchin was replaced with akami (an inexpensive cut of the tuna that can be found at any food court sushi) and the wagyu was replaced with the foie gra that was combined with the ootoro. After showing my dissatisfaction they offered a complementary wagyu and foie gra which they said earlier that it was out! If you brave this place then be extremely careful with what they offer. Go through each individual ingredient with them before agreeing. I would've been okay with this whole mess but the asking price nessitate fine dining quality which this was a very, very poor imitation of. For reference this compares to a general diner sushi in Japan.

The worst experience ever at the front counter, no wonder restaurants go out of business. Told that they were busy, they weren’t, told to come back, we did, told us they are still busy. Sad as I liked the experience last time. Never to return.

Sushi Koen is an excellent restaurant that offers authentic Japanese cuisine with fresh, premium ingredients. The cozy atmosphere and cleanliness make it a charming dining experience. With extended opening hours from 17.00 to 23.00, this is the ideal place for a nice dinner.

很喜歡這個地方，很溫暖的店員會來詢問是否需要服務，但當我們抱著開心的心情去結帳才發現，即便價錢已經加上21%的服務費，而我們也另外給了小費，結帳人員卻沒有找我們錢，雖然才6美金，但感受很不好。

I like this place very much. The warm clerks will come to ask if we need service, but when we went to checkout with a happy mood, we found out that even though the price has already added 21% service charge, and we also tipped extra it.
The account staff didn't give money back to us, although it was only 6 us dollars, it felt very bad.

I really make reviews for a restaurant but this one was very special. The udon for starters was my absolute favourite, and i didnt even order it. You can’t go wrong with udon but this one was right in all the right places it made my friend cry as It reminded her of a grandmother who has dementia and she cannot make a dish like this anymore truly ratatouille experience.

Restaurant nya memang benar authentic japanese, dari makanan enak dan harga nya wort it dengan kualitas makanan. Tempat nya nyaman dan service nya memuaskan.

Truly awful. Atrocious service. Soggy seafood. No sake available. And the sushi & sashimi “platter” looked like left overs. Go to Enso in Canggu if you want a decent Japanese experience. And avoid this one like the plague.

Wonderful Japanese food (not only sushi) in a wonderful place. Very high quality of food and rich menu. A little expensive but worth it.

This is for Sushi Koen … the place is nice inside and the salmon Sashimi was very good (5*), staff nice and friendly … but the rest was just ok for the pricing which is way too expensive. Maybe why it’s so quiet? Only had 1 beer on the menu (Sapporo) but no stock … Sake ok. 300ml for 450k+

Interiornya bagus bangeeet. Beef wellington & chicken buttermilk nya juara. Sedih banget sekarang closed. Semoga lekas beroperasi kembali.

Cafe yg enak, nyaman, cocok untuk keluarga dan jg pasangan yg mencari ambience romantis, makanan jg enak, harga sedikit mahal tp cukup affordable selain itu tempatnya juga strategis

Probably a place we will never return to. Staff were great, no physical menus, scan QR codes only. People did not want to do this and other did not have a hand phone. No alternative other than an electronic menu, 17 pages on a slow system trying to read off your phone. In this economic climate they would not assist and therefore lost 5 hungry paying customers. Their loss, restaurant basically does not cater for older people or for those technically challenged. Will never return, very sad Gardin

Nasi goreng seafood was having nasty unfresh seafood smell, with the cracker being not crispy at all. The chicken tenders has no flavor. The trotters were not that recommendable as well. The chicken wings were probably best with its seasonings.

We came during lunch and the aircon didnt seem like it was working at all and their portable air cons were not movable. We were advised to sit in the glass house under direct sun if we want to be directly blown by the portable air con. The whole place was stuffy without air flow.

Besides that, on a sunday lunch, there were no truffle for truffle fries. There was no prawn for prawn aglio olio. And no coconut for the hot day to go with too.

Paid a premium for only the look of the restaurant but without the proper ambience or food to enjoy. We left in sweat and dissappointment despite tonnes of request for the aircon.

Highly not recommendable if you are a foodie like me.

It's a beautiful venue, open until 2am, with a funky atmosphere.

The menu is high end and it's reflected in the price.

Go for a late night dessert and enjoy the chill, decadent vibe.

Sangat nyaman untuk bersantai, berlibur di bali kurang pas kalo gak kesini. Bagi yang mampu tapi yaa.

Tempatnya unik dan nyaman. Makanannya juga oke. Kalau sempat pasti akan kembali ke sini lagi saat berlibur di Bali.

Love the atmosphere, gothic architecture looks like cathedral in Europe. Food also great, worth the price. The outdoor tables are too dark though

Had a Beautiful Birthday Dinner here. The ambience is incredible. Food is fantastic. Will be back when i had the chance.

Beautiful ambience with Gothic cathedral inspirations. If possible, sit at the greenhouse where you will be surrounded by the greenery. Food was fantastic- we tried the beef ribs in an Indonesian stew (love the lemongrass hints in the stew and the lime flavored rice), as well as the buttermilk fried chicken which was crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. Went for a pizza to share and interestingly, the pizza is baked using puff pastry.

Service was attentive and friendly too.

Stumbled across Gardin entirely by chance whilst staying in Seminyak.
The unique gothic style decor is excellent, as are all the small additions that add to the feeling of quirkiness Gardin offers.
The service was first class, was attentive when needed otherwise we were left to enjoy each other's company.
Great place, would highly recommend.

3 dinner on here and like so much. Nasi Goreng is one of the best with beef and never stop eating again and again
