Statue is really great but you can go top of it specific times. Tour inside of it takes 45 min. Area is huge, so remember to check other places as well.

I saw opinions that you have to pay 10k for parking, etc.
To make a quick move, you can drive to the very end (where the security turns back to the parking lot), pay 100k for "VIP" parking and immediately go to the ticket office.

You can fly a drone in a designated place and without additional fees. You need to mention this at the ticket office and they will direct you to the information desk, where you need to fill out a piece of paper with your data and license number - and you can fly in designated places. (The information will tell you where it is allowed)

Not worth the money at all for 125K IDR per person. Constructed in the past 10 years with large internal scaffolding meaning it’s not actually carved in place as it seems. Gives it the feel that it was constructed purely for tourists without significance.

Also maps that don’t make sense (I looked at 3 maps in different parts that each showed different locations for statues) and the GWK statue itself is atop a touristy building which means it is artificially tall anyways.

Save your money and take a pic from the car park.

I don't know what happened but when I saw this huge, beautiful statue, my breath left my body for a split second. It was an experience I will never forget.

This is not a local holy site as expected but a tourist attraction with Insta spots etc.
The facility was probably once planned as a resort, but is not yet finished.
The statue is pretty cool, but overall I was a bit annoyed, 125k per head and it takes an hour to visit the "park".

Whilst I have been to Bali multiple times this was the first time I went to see GWK, Wow this was an experience not to be missed. It’s not just a statue, it’s a lot more. Entry fee is reasonable. To stand in front of the major statue is breathe taking, you find yourself standing there in awe. We spent 4 hours walking around, the stairs are not oversized meaning even with a back and neck injury I was able to get around with ease. Plenty of spots to sit and take a rest in the shade. You can pay extra for the golf cart to take you to the top (which we did $4 AUD approximately) and extra to go the top of the statue (we choose not to due to the pricing). We were pleasantly surprised with the other statues, Parahyangan Somaka Giri, waterfall, gardens, museum, cafes and outlooks. Staff were pleasant, helpful and attentive. Put this attraction on your list of must do whilst in Bali

Located in Bali precisely on the Uluwatu road in South Kuta, with a very large area with various points of tourist areas that can be enjoyed. Garuda Wisnu Kencana cultural park is one of the tourist attractions that is very worth visiting. Many works of I Nyoman Nuarta are displayed here on a phenomenal scale.

With an entrance ticket that is not too expensive, you can enjoy 15 performances in the GWK area. There are also buses/cabs that can be rented. However, for backpackers or travelers who want to enjoy the beauty of the GWK area, it is highly recommended to walk even though it is a bit tired.

The parking area for two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles is quite spacious. No need to worry about entering the inner area, because buses are always provided to enter the inner area.

A few tips from the author, if you want to go to GWK, it is highly recommended to bring a hat or umbrella and drink and wear comfortable and casual clothes.

Beautiful landscape, clean, many photo spots. Ticket includes shows but unfortunately can’t manage to see then due to limited time.

Tempat wisata yg wajib dikunjungi kalau ke Bali. Sebaiknya datang agak sore biar tidak terlalu panas. Dan di weekend krn ada pagelaran seni.

Salah satu ikon di Bali dan banyak orang2 kalo kebali mengunjungi tempat ini.tempat sangat luas begitu juga dengan parkiran dan ada shutel.ada pertunjukan tari Kecak saat sore hari.

They offer shuttle service from ticket gate to main statue at 30k/person. When looking at the map, the distance (shuttle route) was not far so we decided not to take the shuttle, but it turned out that pedestrian route was different from the shuttle route, which is 3 times longer or circling almost half of the park just to get to the pedestrian entrance (this was not informed at the ticket gate).
In the main statue (optional) you need to pay additional 50k/person to take the elevator to 23rb floor (inside the statue). Photo booth in 23rd floor at the time of my visit was offering a discounted price at 30k/photo (from normal price 150k). There ara also scooter & bike rental inside.

Garuda Wisnu Kencana adalah sebuah taman wisata di bagian selatan pulau Bali. Lokasi mudah dijangkau, ada banyak rambu petunjuk.

Tempatnya luas diatas perbukitan, untuk mencapai pintu loket dari parkiran kita menggunakan sheatle. Ada beberapa bagian pilihan obyek yang perlu kita singgahi, bagian terakhir kunjungan yaitu di patung utama GWK letaknya paling belakang.

Jika berkunjung ke pulau Bali, wajib singgah disini. Obyek wisata yang rekomended untuk dikunjungi bersama keluarga.

Art and cultural venue with a statue of the god Vishnu riding the Garuda bird as its icon. The third tallest statue in the world and will be the tallest when it is finished. The overall height of the statue will be 150 m.
It has an amphitheater stage where art performances take place every day.

We got here before NY eve. A ticket worth 2 different dance performances which are all amazing. But if only they had a better information on how time people should spend on walking around, I'd come earlier so we can get inside and on to the 23rd floor monument. The Kecak dance performances was spectacular, BUT the staff failed to secure the seating area so local (especially locals) tourists are moving up and down DURING the play, even in the crowd. Hopefully in the future the staff can anticipate that, by ruling the area with fence or divider so the tourists won't walk around in front of other people who seriously respect to watch theatrical performances.

Viewnya keren, kalo keliling jalan kaki agak lumayan juga, tapi worth it karna di tiap sudutnya keren & fasilitasnya juga lumayan lengkap

Pemandangam bagus, staff ramah. Tetapi agak membosankan hanya lihat patung dan dalam museumnya hanya untuk jualan patung bukan memamerkan kesenian Bali. Cukup tinggi harga tiket masuknya di 85K rupiah dan perlu sewa caddy juga karena lumayan jauh kalau jalan ke patungnya.

GwK masih harus di rapikan lokasinya mulai skrg, hujan saja pengunjung kesulitan utk berteduh, sementara manager/supervisor ngak profesional, ngak mikir gimana tamu dalam kondisi hujan basah2, seakan kalau hujan sih resiko sendiri, sebaiknya disarankan jgn berkunjung di musim hujan, ngak ada asyiknya,

Such an amazing place to enjoy the art and culture of Bali. GWK currently only opens on weekends and they are charging half price for the entrance fee as for now they are operating 100% some cultural shows and area are still not operating. However this place is still wonderfull.

When you go to Bali, Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park is one of the bucket list the place that you have to visit. Is near with Uluwatu Temple, Ungasan Beach, Pecatu Golf Park and also near to Jimbaran Seafood Bay, The Jimbaran Seafood Bay is the area that you could find many seafood restaurant, It's the best place for you to enjoy seafood in Bali.

For foreigner, just pass, not worthy.
For traditional dance, better experience KECAK dance in Uluwatu.
For view, it was good. However, too crowded.
Statues, they are big.

Great place with great experience! There's a lot of things to entertain the visitors here! In the early of 2019 I paid around 80k to enjoy GWK, and by the end of the same year the price is changed to 125k. But the difference is, when I pay 125k I got welcome drink, got a selendang, got a discount coupon. It's pretty worth it and I enjoy it so much when I'm here. The view is very great with a lot of statues and natural view.

Waktu itu berkunjung di medio 2009 dengan landscape dimana patung patung GWK masing terpisah pisah belum menjadi satu kesatuan utuh patung GWK, tetapi pengaturan akses masuk dan cita cita menjadi cultural park nya sudah terlihat tertata rapi dan konsisten untuk pengembangan obyek obyek wisata kedepannya

Great place to visit with family and to learn more about Balinese traditional culture. They have on going live dance show every day every hours, a nice things since guests dont have to come at certain hours.

This park was built when I was in primary school and it took over 20 years to finished it. In August 2018, the giant statue finally completed. Said the statue is higher than Liberty in New York or Eiffel tower in Paris. There are lifts to go up and peek Bali in 360 view. It’s worth the chance to see Bali from a different angle. Many cultural events also available throughout the day with varies of restaurants you may choose to have a break in between.

GWK atau Garuda Wisnu Kencana, adalah objek wisata yang jadi list utama terbaru kalau ke Bali. Baru di selesaikan tahun lalu setelah sekitar 20 tahun dibuat. Sebenarnya GWK ini selain patung GWK yang besar itu, ada banyak pagelaran seni di sana, harus tahu jadwal jika mau liat pertunjukan seni tersebut. Buat saya pribadi jika sudah ke GWK 1x tidak perlu ke 2x, karena 1x saja sudah cukup. Tidak banyak yang bisa dilakukan di GWK selain foto-foto, patung GWKnya juga lebih bagus dilihat dari jauh daripada dari dekat. Jika anda menggunakan kendaraan, harus parkir jauh dari pembelian tiket, jadi naik shuttle bus (gratis) dari parkiran ke tempat jual tiekt masuk. Untuk perjalanan dengan berjalan kaki santai ke patung GWK dari pintu masuk memakan waktu 20-40 menit berjalan. Itu belum termasuk jika foto-foto dulu di berbagai spot. Beli minuman dulu di toko-toko dekat parkiran bus, karena pas di dalam tidak ada yang menjual minum. Harga masuknya lumayan mahal untuk wisata yang sekedar untuk foto-foto saja, yaitu Rp 80.000, - /orang. Jika anda orang tua & mempunyai masalah dengan kaki atau mudah capek saya sarankan sewa Buggy seharga Rp 30.000, - /orang.

Ask your driver to leave you at the entrance in the cultural park as there are many beautiful things to see along the 400 meters walk until the ticket office and then to the entrance where they check your tickets (huge animal statues, sculptured high walls, and temple, obelisks, flowers, a lotus pond.and you will avoid the parking fee if you park outside the barriers. Entrance fee is 125000 idr if I remember well. You will receive a paper bracelet and a sarong and or a scarf to put around your waist. The main statue is huge as a mountain.and three are many other beautiful things to see. Be sure you have umbrellas, hats or hoods to keep you safe from the sun.

Bisa berkunjung ke sini untuk kedua kalinya. Sayang sekali kali ini blm sempat mengelilingi semua bagian di karenakan terbatasnya waktu. Sangat berkesan karena perginya bersama dengan teman-teman baru dengan spot photo yang baru juga.

Sempet kesasar sasar ria dari area parkir sampe ke belakang bagian bukit2 untuk nyari jalan masuknya, padahal pintu masuk ada di depan.capeghh.udh ketemu pintu masuk main mau masuk2 aja padahal gada tiket, beruntung ada bapak2 yg mw ngasih petunjuk.dari tiketing sampai ke lokasi patung nya lumayan jauh dan jalan kaki, siap2 ber pegel2 betisnya, tp yah mungkin itu sensasinya, namanya jg jalan2. Di entrance nya ada pemotretan gratis sama di kasih peta panduan, cukup menarik buat org jauh yg belum pernah liat patung2 besar seperti GWK, mudah2 an kedepan nya tambah banyak patung2 raksasa yg lainya, tidak hanya 2.takjub pokoknya

Kalo tempat satu ini kalian pasti tahu seberapa megahnya. Keren, dan selalu menakjubkan. Apalagi patung Garuda Wisnu Kencana sudah berdiri kokoh menjulang tinggi di langit Bali. Tempat ini harus masuk list kalian yg berlibur ke Bali

Komplek taman wisata yang sudah tertata rapi dan sudah dikelola dengan baik. Jalanan luas, pedagang tertata dengan baik.

Didalam komplek banyak spot berfoto yang menarik, dan sangat indah pada saat sore hari saat matahari mulai terbenam.

Jangan lewatkan pertunjukkan tari kecak yang hadir pada jam tertentu yang menambah pengalaman menyenangkan selama berlibur di Bali.

Saatnya ke Gwk. Patung yang luar biasa besar dan tinggi menjulang.

Akan lebih menarik jika didalam area ada toilet / musholla yang baik serta cafe untuk sekedar minum kopi.

Beautiful place to visit and one can spend the entire day enjoying the Beauty of that location. So much influence of hindu culture makes you feel close to home. The main statue is visible from across Bali. Ample parking space available and the souvenir shop has a good collection of products, though the price is a bit higher compared to other local shops. You have an option to watch the traditional balinese dance forms at the amphitheater for free. That is a great opportunity actually.

Belum bisa masuk ke dalam museum tubuh patungnya pdhl udh diresmikan dan juga tiketingnya untuk harga segitu terlalu mahal belum adanya tambahan hal2 yang kurang menarik hanya jalan kaki dan area photo aja biar tidak terlalu merasa lelah buat berjalan keatas menuju patung GWK misalnya pentas tari ataupun pertunjukan seni lainnya perlu ditambah

Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue is a 75-meter tall statue located in Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park. It was designed by Nyoman Nuarta and inaugurated in September 2018. The total height of the monument, including the 46-meter base pedestal is 121 m. The completed monument is about as tall as a 21-storey building.

The culture park though operating. The main complex is not open yet. Expected to open Jan 2019. Segway ride is not to travel around the park but just move around at one area. Official list of attractions and what to do will help.

Don't bother at least until it's finished and you can go inside and up the main statue. This place is totally discombobulated to say the least. Even the car park isn't finished. Top tip, don't go in the middle of the day, you are not allowed to take food and drinks in and there are only a few places to buy very expensive water so you going to get very very hot and dehydrated walking around this huge site. It's wasn't till we got to the huge statue that we found out there is a bus service and then because we didn't have the bus ticket they didn't want us to get on the return trip to the car park. That was a 2klm walk in midday sun. Crazy.

Baru pertama kali sih ke sini tapi. Sumpah bagus banget pemandangannya dan banyak banget spot fotonya. Ditambah banyak tumbuhan yang membuat sejuk dan tidak panas. Coba deh kesitu recommended banget dan kita bisa belajar banyak budaya disana
