Very nice atmosphere, especially in the garden. The food is well presented and tastes good too. However, the portions are very small and instead of sourdough, they serve normal white bread. The cappuccino was more like just milk. The brownies are okay but not outstanding. Service is a bit slow but friendly.
Too bad for the disrespect of the other guests (nomadic worker on the phone, customer who listens to his speaker without headphones.). "Sea food" pasta with an uninviting smell and very "pedas", very very little meat in the bolognese. Tapas and guacamole rather successful, as well as the pizzas. Very little choice of dessert, as is often the case in Bali, but the price is much higher than elsewhere. Pleasant garden, the air-conditioned dining area is appreciable.
On the edge of the Gianyar township is the Genius resto/hotel. Genius also has resto's in Sanur and other places, along more or less the same concept. The menu card shows new entries, and quit a few vegetarian and vegan dishes. I tried some mexican dishes and although I do not know much about the Mexican cuisine it tasted good. As I am a big eater, I found the portions a bit on the small side. Otherwise the service was excellent. Sufficient parking. Seating was ok and cozy. Prices on the high side. A good place to try out!
Menu dgn harga yg tidak wajar, berhati2lah jika datang kemari, selektif dalam memilih menu makanan, kadang makanan di etalase udh terlalu lama utk dihidangkan, dan kasir wanitanya memberikan harga yg bs diedit sesukanya, mintalah bill tagihan dan periksa sesudahnya, sy tdk merekomendasikan makan ditempat ini, kecuali jika hanya utk memesan secangkir kopi (yg tentunya anda sdh bertanya tentang harganya) utk sekedar berbincang dgn kolega anda ditempat ini.
