Asian fusion restaurant in the centre of Seminyak. The dishes were super unique and delicious. Definitely recommend the flying fish - fresh, crunchy and well seasoned. Staff members were super lovely.
Lost one star because they forgot to warn some of the pale white Aussies that the Pork Bao might be a little spicy. Other than that, it was near enough to perfect.
Absolutely buzzing place with UNREAL food, the tastiest meal we had in Bali. Super friendly staff, lots of vegan options and the staff were so helpful in this respect. It became super busy so you may have to wait for a table. Will absolutely be going back for more!
Yum! Everything was yum! Also, they recycle their water jugs and glasses from wine bottles. They are very cool! And if you really love them, they are available to purchase!
If you find yourself in Seminyak then Gingermoon is where you need to book for Lunch and or Dinner. This delightful restaurant was the highlight of our stay. Given certain places were risqué to eat Gingermoon provided fresh, quality ingredients that kept us coming back again and again for meals. Off the Menu Rice paper rolls are a must, King prawn Dumplings, Chicken Satay, Peking Duck the best we have ever had. We are not big drinkers however we became hooked on Crazy Ivan (Cocktail).
To top things off the Crème Brule Pendang is OMG!
To the manager Indra thanks for welcoming us back every time like you were seeing us for the first time. You are the host with the most! Bless you my friend you made our dining experience some of the best we have had in the world we will back Gingermoon.
Loved everything about our dinner here. A varied menu with loads of choice, almost needing multiple visits to savour! Good drink list. Service great all night. Well laid out and attractive venue. A really good experience.
All the food is flavourful and yum but especially loveeee the pizzas here! My favourite is the Chicken BBQ, and I add kemangi for a personal taste. Crispy and thin so not too heavy and really great combination of flavour. And the staff are so lovely and friendly, when I order it with GoShop or get home delivery they are so good at letting me know when my order is ready via whatsapp. Really helpful service. Regular customer right here!
Great ambience and food! We ordered a variety of dishes and most of them were good. I enjoyed the calamari with wasabi mayo as well as the beef rendang which my brother got. Sadly, I got the Soto Ayam for myself which was a bit too salty for my tastes! It also came with rice which surprised me since I thought it’ll be a noodle dish. Would skip on this dish but recommend trying their other specialties!
I dined at Ginger Moon a few years ago, and again had a truly wonderful experience.
The atmosphere was bustling and lively, and the food was out of this world. The shao mai, dumplings, and nasi goreng were all cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.
I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and service at this restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Asian cuisine.
Dropped in for a small meal. Food and service were exceptional. Desserts were to die for - the trio of crème brûlée was so delicate. The chocolate tart was ultra rich but balanced.
I read the reviews & most were good so we decided to go for dinner even though it took us 45 mins to walk there from our hotel. The prawn dumplings and the fish steam buns were nice. But the seafood nasi goreng was very disappointing. It was obviously warmed up from lunch time & it only had a few tiny little shrimps, you can hardly call it seafood. It was not fresh at all. Been in Bali for a week, every place has been amazing but we would not go back here. Very disappointed.
Fantastic place, best choice in bali.we found good gluten free pizza and a allergic list so we Tried the tipical chicken curry and rice cake.the best ever taste.dont lose it.you wil free balinese
Amazing, very good food, a lot of gluten free options, including pizza.we recomend trying "my mother in law's chicken curry and rice cakes" among the specialties, fantastic, incredibly spicy, but absolutely delicious
We love Ginger Moon. Such a fabulous restaurant. We were welcomed back like old friends every time we visited. Everything is excellent including the dumplings, the Peking duck pancakes and the dessert are just amazing. The crew are all delightful. Make sure you buy Chef Dean’s amazing book Our Bali Your Bali while you are there. Fabulous book that helps some excellent local charities. Thanks Ginger Moon
Great place for some Asian inspired food. Limited menu however you don't need many dishes before you are quite full! Flavours pack a punch and drinks are fab. Staff are very friendly and attentive.
My family and I had an amazing dinner here. The food and drinks were so delicious! The lovely staff were also very accommodating for our baby. A brilliant restaurant!
Tonight was the fourth time we’ve been here and the food is always great. The pancakes and crème brûlée are not that good. One person ordered a cocktail which had way too much chilli in it, no one on the table could drink it. We asked if we could swap it over for a different drink, the waitress asked the manager and the manager said no. I thought this was very shortsighted.
Had dinner with family of 4 in early March and the food was excellent and many options and Service professional and hospitable. Definitely worth the visit, thankyou
What an absolute sensation it was to dine here. Fresh, house made dumplings, divine salads, beastly buns and everything else was exquisite. Can't wait to come back again!
Had dinner there. Gado-Gado and twice Nasi goreng. Typical Indonesian food. The food was tasteless. The Nasi goreng was dry and the fried egg on top was more than dead!
The service wasn’t good.
I love to tip, but if you ad it automatically, why should the staff be nice?
Overall very disappointing. 2 chance? No way!
Go to one of the small restaurants in the side streets.
I have to say, this is now on my list of favourite restaurants. Staff went out of their way to accommodate when our group of 16 "walked in". Beautiful, Air conditioned Restaurant. No complaints from anyone about the food, which had plenty of choices. Service was good, prices reasonable.
Nice restaurant, Bali Nachos are recommended. Food is great, but a bit too much of the Bali spices. Would be great if they taste a bit less Bali. Interior is great. Upstairs can be hot inside.
Nasi goreng was above average though priced slightly higher than other restaurants. Would recommend taking the seats indoors as the house files outdoors were aggressive!
Super food, with some great gluten free options. Some good heat, and suggest the Bali Nachos and Roast Pork Bun. Great selection of cocktails, and a cool commitment to wines (you can BYO on some days, and they try and offer an affordable selection). Great sharing options too, and a pretty nice escape from some of the chaos on Eat St.
5 stars for ambience, foods and service. I and my husband really enjoyed the "buckle list" menu which offered good variety. Love this restaurant. Don't forget to show your entertainment book discount.
Props for having glutenfree pizza, though options very limited. Taste somewhat boring. Regular food, good drinks, a bit pricey, food are much better down the local streets for half the price
Here amongst the hustle of Seminyak, is, a fair place to enjoy some decent food, overall very nice and though street can be tight to walk on to get to. Overall good.
Great ambience and good food. Having been to quite a few restaurants in Bali, I felt like this place was slightly overpriced. We ordered some hot water because we were feeling a little unwell and they charged us $5 for it! This was ridiculous because you can easily get a large bottle of water here in Bali for under a dollar. Overall though, would be a nice place to go for a sit down dinner with friends.
Best place for chicken satay. A little on the spicy side but for $18aud you get 12 pieces and some bali rice cakes. You can take away as well. Drinks are a little on the pricey side.
Beautiful food and the service was fantastic. Our waitress was very friendly, helpful and attentive. We ordered an array of dishes, all of them were well presented, fresh and full of flavour. The cocktail (ginger mojito) packed a punch and although it was a little more expensive than other places, it was very large so it was a fair price. This is a well equipped restaurant with dining downstairs and upstairs and beautiful ambiance. All in all an awesome night out.
It was our first meal in Bali and wow it was just perfect.we had the green papaya salad, dumplings and chicken satay. Everything was just delicious and very fair price for the service you get.
Great, great, great. Best food I have had in bali hands down. Expensive in comparison to other restaurants in seminyak and bali but you get what you pay for. Best quality all across the menu with everything packed with flavour.great service by the employee's along with good setting. If you're in seminyak it is a MUST VISIT.
Atmosphere is good, service is good . But taste wise it was a let down.we had the lamb shank and fried fish. I had a cocktail starting wth oberoi that was the worst cocktail i had. Just tasted like cucumber in ice water.
Looking pretty good and that is all. No valet, no door greeting, no welcome nibble. A tone of staff doing the cat walk with no reason whatsoever, upstairs, downstairs, upstairs, downstairs as noisy as possible.
Fresh juices good. The dumplings are not dumplings, they are a cheap imitation, probably bought frozen from the supermarket. A basket of, basically, Kerupuk (crackers), known as the poor man's food, priced between 1000 to 5000 Rupia everywhere, named differently and sold here with 50.000 Rupia. Deserts very good.
Good ambient music, too loud. Visit to the Toilette (Rest Room would be an upscale) where staff is cleaning, and that is very good except, when there are customers walking in to refresh, staff must stop doing what ever they are doing and wait respectfully in silence or walk out until the customer had finished refreshing, no gossiping, no loud talking, no laughing, and no banging the floor with the mop.
When paying with card, staff must never ever take the card and walk somewhere! Still in shock.
That it is. Sukses selalu at fine tuning and training staff.
This was one of my favourite places that we dined at. The service was attentive and the food was delicious. This place had an extensive cocktail menu with lots of ginger themed cocktails. Can't wait to go back to Bali to dine here again. Our group of 6 sat at a large square table out the front overlooking the street, but the restaurant looked nice and intimate inside.
Delicious food and drinks for reasonable price, good service and cozy atmosphere. I‘m crying inside because tomorrow I‘m leaving Seminyak. I would definitely take a dinner here one more time. Maybe I come for a breakfast tomorrow. Thumbs up and good luck, Ginger Moon!
Something has gone horrible wrong with this place compared to a year ago. Nosedive from 5 to 2. Nasi goreng was a sad joke. Chicken curry? Few sad strips of meat, the rest was disgusting tofu. Drinks? LOL. Watered down. Get something in bottle. Worst food in Bali.
