I had a wonderful time here.the accommodation is very nice and comfortable.everyone is super relaxed and friendly. The food is tasty. There is a yoga class twice a day, always different types.this is where I became a yoga lover.
I stayed at the green garden bungalows for the yoga bliss retreat. I took the 7 days retreat. I extended and stayed two weeks in total at the end. The place is very close to nice restaurants and cafés but still in a more quiet street. The beach is only 5 minutes away. Like the name already tells, it’s a lovely garden with two pools next to each other. And the bungalows are surrounding the pools. There is also a restaurant where you can eat all day long. The ladies in the kitchen make delicious food with many vegetarian and vegan options. The green garden also has a yoga Shala, where the Yoga Bliss is having their yoga classes. You can drop in or get passes. They also do teacher trainings there.
The green garden is such a lovely, calming, energizing, and beautiful place to stay. Gede, the Green Garden manager, is such a lovely and caring person. He is always around and you can ask him anything. Also Dodi and Debbie, one of the yoga teachers, are very warm-hearted people. I’d recommend this place to everyone.
Whenever I see Nasi Campur on the menu that is what I order, so that's what I had at this restaurant. It was very dissapointing. The worst Nasi Campur I've had in Bali (and I have been here for a month now). It looked more like Nasi Tempe to me. I ususally get white rice accompanied by small portions of a number of other dishes, which may include meat, vegetables, peanuts, eggs, or even fried-shrimp. This was nothing like that. The jamu was good.
Had the best Gado gado ever! And the vegetable broth with tempe was the best I had in my entire trip in Indonesia! Really recommend for tradition dishes
We only used the restaurant. The food was average. Tasty Nasi Goreng but Gado gado and quinoa salad were terrible and it took so long to bring the food. The smoothies tasted good. They charge 5% if you want to pay with card.
This review is for the owner who keeps this place under-staffed, lives in the hills, benefits from the reputation of Yoga Bliss, only accepts cash (probably doesn't pay taxes), and then just trusts in the universe to protect guests at night instead of taking responsibility.
There is no one on the premises at night except you and the other guests doors don't close all the way, the floor in our bungalow was rotting and soft, mosquitos get in, frogs get in, the power went out because he forgot to pay the bill.
And his initial response when I finally got ahold of him, "I'll yell at my staff" Shame.
Went for dinner, place was empty, dark and not very welcoming but I still stayed after a yoga class Food was average A bit disappointed Bring mosquito spray:)
Second time staying here and have nothing but praises for this gem of a place. Gede and all the staffs here will make you feel right at home with their kindness and hospitality:) :)
We had the tempeh burger and the love burger. The tempeh was meant to be marinaded but it was just grilled and not seasoned. The veggie patty again lacked seasoning and was over-fried. There was no sauce in the burger (they had sauce on the table) and the burger bun was over toasted so that when you bite into it it would just crumble. Fries were nice. I also found a hair in my burger cheap prices with lots of vegan choices, the guys were nice but definitely room for improvement. We had a mango juice and mango/coconut juice which were good.
We stopped off for lunch. It was nice to get out of the sun and relax in the garden restaurant. We ordered the Nasi Campur special and Jamu juice. It was all very fresh and delicious. The food was spicy, but just what we needed. I'd love to come back for yoga one day.
One star for lying at my face! Asked 3 times if the orange juice was freshly squeezed. They said yes and came back in 30 seconds with a glass of awfully tasting boxed juice
Cute little spot. Very remote feeling. I got the tofu burger. It was really good. They provided a side of mustard and it went nicely with it. I also ordered the guacamole basket. I forgot to take a photo. It had red bell peppers, carrots, cucumbers, and chips to dip in the guac. That was really, really good. My husband had the burger. It was pretty charred. We didn't expect it to be medium rare or anything, but it was certainly cooked. Lol. The patty was a bit on the smaller side, considering the bun ratio.
This place hosts yoga. You're able to do drop-in classes or purchase a package. There are a few options for packages and class offerings.
The bungalows look really cute. We weren't staying here, we were just here to eat, but they were situated all along the property. The property has a sizable pool as well.
***Edit*** We came back here the next day because I saw someone's curry and needed to eat it! There is a dish called "Best Curry Ever" and I can say it was incredible! I got it with the tofu and it was delightful. It's a sizable dish, too!
With the reviews and description you would think this would be a good place for a plant based foodie but disappointing like most of the recommended restaurants around Jungutbatu I'm afraid to say. I have been everywhere around Bali trying every Warung's version of Nasi Campur and this is the worst one yet. I am slightly confused of the general reviews given and the one star i give to this place is to the friendly staff which is a natural characteristic of the balinese people on the whole.
This restaurant is a gem! A bit far from the main road but totally worth it! If you are looking for healthy food this is the spot! The staff are very friendly, and the food was great. Big dishes for a good price! We had the vegan gado gado, vegan noodle soup and a sandwich. If you are staying in Nusa Lembongan you should visit this restaurant.
They had some difference vegan dishes to choose from. I expected it to be more to choose from as the restaurant was marked being a vegan restaurant, but it wasn't as they also had chicken and other meat choices on the meny. As for the food it was ok, rather mild tastes. They had complementary water, where you also could fill up your water bottle if you wanted to.
Cosy place on the backstreet of the village. Many trees and nature nearby. Had chicken with mushroom sauce that is a must try (was delicious)! Friendly, english speaking staff and free Wi-Fi. They have many healthy options and also offer yoga classes. The price is about average that you find on the island. One downside is that the fan wasn't working, so it got pretty hot during lunch hour.
We took a quinoa salad and à pizza and we were both very disapointed by this restaurant. The quinoa bowl was very small, the pizza was not cooked and not tasty at all (probably the worst crust we have ever tried). The place is very simple and lack of charm and there is not that much vegetarian options. Only good things are the jamu and the service.
