This place is really good, clean and comfortable, the owner and the stuff really kind and helpfull, and other guest is really respact each other, will comeback here again one day, and also they will still serve you the breakfast even you wakeup in the afternoon, l really high recomended this place

Would highly recommend Green Papaya. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool is very big and well maintained. The location is in a quiet area outside Ubud center which is exactly what we were looking for as the centre is very busy. Thank you so much.

This was our first hotel on an exhausting trip around Bali. At the beginning, we thought that the bathroom might require a slight modernization, but the more hotels we visited, the more we became convinced that the standard here was really high. As for the rest of the room, the bed is really big, comfortable and CLEAN (which is not the norm in Bali). The air conditioning works well, and if it doesn't work, the owner will do everything in his power to fix it as soon as possible (but more on that later). The pool is of a reasonable size and the small number of rooms in the resort makes it feel like it's private. I admit that I used it only twice because we had a very intense tour. There are plenty of cabinets and shelves in the room, and the only insects that visited us were ants (It is impossible to have an insect-free room in Bali, even in expensive hotels), so in this respect it was really good.

Breakfast, there are several options to choose from, e.g. Nasi Goreng, pancakes or omelette. Everything is made on site and served with a plate of fruit, coffee or tea. The only downside of breakfast is that you have to order it in advance because the kitchen is not able to make too much for one hour, but 4 of them always managed.

Service.well, the most expensive hotels in the world can learn here. As soon as we get out of the car, someone takes our bags and carries them to the rooms, there is always someone who will fulfill your request almost immediately. For example, on the first day it turned out that hot water in the shower did not work in our room. It turned out that the heating device was damaged. I went to bed thinking I wouldn't have hot water for a good couple of days now, how wrong I was when it turned out they were working all night so I could take a shower before breakfast. The hotel here is 11/10 for me

Trips. We came to visit Bali with some pre-prepared plan, but you know reality verifies many things. So first we started looking for a driver who will drive with us and here it's not a problem because the hotel has friendly drivers at very reasonable prices. I will not write specific prices because they depend on the length of the routes, but on average, let no one expect less than 750k/day. When the owner's wife heard what our plans were, she decided to help us with them and started giving her suggestions like "Ohh this waterfall is nice but it takes 2 hours to go there and this one is smaller but it takes 15 minutes and you pay less entrance fee" any of her advice was golden, what's more, she sat down with my girlfriend and reorganized our trip so that we could see as much and as best as possible. Plus she called all the places paid for the tour in advance and arranged the drivers. It was a bit more expensive than if we had done it ourselves, but we didn't have to worry about anything for 3 good days. The drivers were sure, which is not so obvious in Bali, unfortunately, because they can often inform you that they will drive you for 3 days, but on the second day they will find a better course and inform you that sorry, find someone else. The drivers arranged by the hotel are also a completely different level of service. For example, at one of the gates you wait about 45 minutes for a photo, all people are standing in the sun waiting, and we were the only ones who had drivers with a blanket and folding chairs. We went to the waterfall, after a moment of bathing, we return to the area where we left our things, and here our driver pulled out a portable stove from the car and makes us hot coffee and something to eat. The sight of other tourists was priceless. Finally, I will add that our driver was the owner of Green Papaya, which may not necessarily happen to you, but if you go with him, you are extremely lucky.

We rested with friends. We really liked the hospitality, breakfasts, quite comfortable rooms, clean large pool. We'll be back again.
