Green Village Bali

My family and I went on a tour of the Green Village and it was the highlight of our trip! We were shown 2 beautiful bamboo houses, they were both very different, each intricately detailed. My whole family was impressed, we were served a delicious lunch afterwards. Well worth the small admission fee, I'd highly recommend this experience.

Tried really hard to put us close to nature. Efforts are much appreciated and the stay is pleasant and the place is is definitely amazing. Maybe a little costly comparatively to option you'd get in same price but still you should put this place on your list.

The most overestimated place in Bali.
The management is absolutely weak and need to be changed. All the staff beginning from the general manager are not professional. We couldn’t book it via Airbnb and came to do it personally and it spent very long time for what can be easily done within 15 minutes.
We bring our food with us - lobster and crabs with caviar and the stuff in the kitchen was so unprofessional that they spoiled all the food - it took 2,5 hours to cook all the meal (in Jimbaran seafood market it takes 20 minutes to prepare lobster and crabs), they boiled the crabs 1 hours, so that the meat becomes tasteless, they throw the caviar, the lobster also was dry - even the glasses for our wine we were waiting almost 30 minutes. Everything is very long, unprofessional and doesn’t cost this price AT ALL. And when we told the manager all the complaints he didn’t even apologise.
The villa was full of holes where the snake can come in the night.
The complimentary free breakfast was awful too. Better they take money for it and make it properly. No juice, no coffee, the omelette is not tasty at all and the drink was totally disgusting we didn’t even understand what was that
Totally NOT recommended to visit!

What a beautiful place to stay! Every room is different and exquisite. We ordered breakfast and dinner from the cafe and all the food was excellent.

Very cool examples of bamboo architecture. When properly treated, bamboo structures can last 70 years or more! The houses here are amazing to look at and would be even more amazing to stay in. Great fusion of nature and technology.

We stayed at GREEN VILLAGE (PONDOK NAGA/AURA HOUSE) for 3 days and we wished we would have stayed longer.

This is one of the best place we stayed while in Bali.
It was a unique experience to live in a bamboo house surrounded by nature.
It is a quiet place perfect to relax and get closer to nature.
Thank you so much to all the staff that so carefully took care of us.

Favorite place I’ve stayed at in Southeast Asia so far! Makes you feel like you’re living in another world. These bamboo villas are a must stay in Bali.

Penginapan dengan konsep back to nature yang sangat kental. Konsep bangunan terbuat dari bambu dipadukan dengan beberapa sentuhan modern yang minim seperti ac, fan, kulkas dan kolam renang.
Its unique and refreshing actually.

Bagus, nyaman, aman, indah, dan bebas dari kebisingan kendaraan bermotor. Cocok untuk berlibur, memiliki pemandangan dan alam yg sangat indah, sangat populer di kalangan wisatawan lokal dan internasional, memiliki tempat untuk mengadakan pesta pernikahan dan ulang tahun, pengamanan area 24jam, staf sangat ramah dan dan santun, memiliki restauran yg menyajikan hidangan lokal dan internasional.

Not allowed tot get in because it disturbs our guests. Buy if i take an extremely expensive tour, wouldnt it also disturb the guests? In other words this place had nothing to do with ECO but only with getting rich soon (greed)

Amazing experience visiting and touring these houses. The architecture and design is fantastic, and the sustainability of the structures, as well as the off grid functionality is inspiring.

Good & Quite place at Mambal Badung, if you don't stay there, there is a certain visit time and you have to take a tour around with the package available, outside the package and certain hours we will not be given entry because of the private villa.
Nice Bamboo?

It is such a unique experience staying in Bamboo eco house at Green Village. The villa we stayed in is Sunrise house and it is very well maintained. It is a 4 storey villa comes with 3 bedrooms, perfect for 6 adults. The staffs are very helpful and friendly too! We really enjoy our stay

My family and I were drawn to this place by the TED Talk by John Hardy, and we were really happy about it. The architectures look so interesting, needless to say how interesting it was living among them.

The villa that we stayed in is the Cacao. It was a big house, and the space felt even bigger because, due to the nature of bamboo construction, a lot of the spaces are open to the exterior, which I found very enjoyable in the south-east Asian climate. In such a secluded village, you truly are able to get as much contact with the nature as you like in you villa without having to concern about privacy.

The service in the village is very good. Although there aren't that many amenities inside of the village, and the food at the cafe gets boring quickly, the village people can always arrange shuttles to take you to basically anywhere in Bali (the nearest major city is Ubud).

We were here 3 weeks ago and fully amazed with all the bamboo infrastructure can do for a big house. Really love being here and can't wait for the program later on!

Amazing place to stay. Everything is beautifully designed. Just be aware that it is in the middle of no where. The on-site store closes too early for our liking and grab isn’t allowed so you’re a little trapped if you don’t have a vehicle.

Tolles investment für Australier und Amerikaner. Schade dass das Geld nicht im Land bleibt. Aber tolle Idee

Make sure you planned a whole day enjoying the ambiance of this place. Such great architecture.
