Ian Surf Bali

Ian was literally the best instructor. If you want to learn how to ride waves, he’s your guy! Super chill and super clear when it came to instructions. Thanks to him I learned hot to stand up and catch up waves…wish I had more time in Bali so I could learn even more, but definitely when I will be back I will reach out again!

It was just amazing. Ian and his crew are wonderful. I took 6 classes in 2 weeks, could not have been better!

If you are looking for a surfing class, Ian is the good choice. Sometimes he shows upside down on a surf board lol.

I'm very lucky that my first surfing teacher was Ian He knew a good surfing spot for beginners and patiently waited for me to get up on the board. He is serious and kind. If I go to Bali again, I will definitely take a class with Ian again.

I did my first step on a surf board with Ian and I seriously appreciated it. This young guy highly passionate and well trained at the rip curl school is become a friend now. He is a pedagogic and smiling man who will assist you in your first waves as if you was a student. Glad to see other people joining the ride he will transmit his pleasure to be in the sea. I highly recommend this guy

Ian is a really good teacher and a super fun guy to hang with. I learned to surf really fast thanks to him. He is very good at speaking english and if it is your first time in Bali he will give you alot of tips and tricks how to get around the Island.

Ian is not only a great surf instructor, but also great guy. He is patient, calm and knowledgable about all the surf spots around Bali. It doesn't matter what your level is from beginner to advanced - he can watch you surf and adapt his teaching to make the most of your time together in the water. He is based in Kuta, but depending on your experience, can take you all around the Island. I've shared time with Ian both inside and outside the water and hes a great guy to know. Always good to hang out with the locals, who are not only the best people to guide you the water, but also to have a true travel experience, and not just see Bali as a tourist. Great instructor.definitely recommend!:)
