The best cocktails in Ubud! And a fantastic happy hour with plenty of options like the Salted Caramel Espresso Martini and Pandan Pina Colada (pictured). Decided to stay for dinner and staff kindly fit us in at the busiest time. Food was also delicious! Try the fried spinach and dipping sauce - a leafy green never tasted so good. Friendly, pro service too! Will be returning!
We should have made a reservation but it was okay they accommodated us about an hour later. Well worth the wait. Everything here was amazing! The staff was extremely welcoming. Each and every dish was beautiful, full of flavor and a good sized portion. Would not fail to return
Cozy little restaurant/bar. The best fish dish that can really be recommended. In addition, lots of delicious food. It is recommended to book a table, especially in the evening, when the house is often full. The staff is fantastic
We came here to celebrate a birthday, we only ordered cocktails and they were absolutely excellent! The best cocktails we had in Ubud. Cocktail prices are very attractive during happy hour only (65k - for a selection of cocktails).
First night in Ubud having a walk and came across this little gem it was packed with people so thought lets give it a go. Lovely atmosphere and great food we loved it thank you
Food was fresh and delicious. Some of the best food we have had in Bali for a reasonable price. Staff are accommodating and very nice. The cocktails were fantastic as well. Highly recommend.
Amazing food. We had excellent cocktails, food and dessert. The chicken satay was delicious, and the spring rolls were so FRESH. My old fashioned was a dream and I got the bitter chocolate brûlée for dessert. Everything was *chefs kiss* - definitely worth a visit.
So good we returned. Prompt and friendly service, utterly delicious food and a large selection of cocktails made this place a welcome respite on a hot day. Bao buns and pancakes were my favourite but group of 10 were easily catered for. Definitely recommend
A very cute place, well decorated. We ordered 4 dishes for lunch - Salmon & tuna tartare on betel leaves was fresh and tasty, so was the butterfish sashimi. - Chicken skewer was very well cooked, tender and delicious. - The beef bao bun was below average unfortunately, Beef was dry and lack of flavour.
This was a amazing restaurant, the staff were really attentive and even the manager came over to see how we were getting on.she seemed really keen and happy! We had three courses which all of them was so tasty, my wife had the pork belly and the crackling was cracking hahaha The cocktails were tasty too I would recommend the rumble jungle and the lychee. Overall 10/10 will be coming there again
This place needs more training in customer service training. We stopped by for drinks around 4pm even though the place was completely empty, they made it a big deal that we didn’t have reservations. We were given a table and after a few hours we were told to leave because our specific table had been reserved. At this point, there are several other empty tables including the bar. Honestly, it is bad business to ask customers to leave just because a table has been reserved. You have to try and make other accommodations especially if we were ordering drinks and food every few minutes and running a big tab. At the end, after asking for separate bills because we were in a group, the manager comes out and acts like we were asking them to do something so extraordinary, rolling his eyes and everything. Very disappointed and disrespectful. I would not recommend spending your money there. Definitely worst customer service I have ever received.
Best cocktails in Ubud. Thank you bartender guys _ banderas and aditya. Lychee daisy and pandan colada are nice cocktails. My favorite is old fashioned.
Beautiful place, lovely staff and great food! In our short stay in Ubud we had dinner there twice - they use really good product in all the menu. From the buns (baos) to the pork belly, burgers. Everything is fantastic! In fact we went to the other (Japanese) restaurant that they have (Kyoka Ubud), and we had another great experience. And don't forget the cocktails! Amazings! We loved "Londons calling" and "Hibiscus Lime":) Thanks, team!
The best drinks we had so far on Bali. During happy hour from 4-7pm for the best value for money. The bartenders we very kind and offered a great service. Thank you
Wow, we accidentally bumped into this place, without expecting anything special, but to our greatest surprise the food and drinks were absolutely marvellous! We ordered dumplings with mushrooms and spinach, dumplings with chicken and prawns, tuna on leaf, soba salad, and crab burger and everything was DELICIOUS! Thank you IBU SUSU.
I went back to Ibu Susu after two years and found the duck curry even better than before. My wife ordered the soft shell crab stir fry which was mouth watering and we shared the chocolate brûlée with ice cream which was excellent. The cocktails here are imaginative and while I do not drink much they are very hard to resist. To top it all off the service is always warm and friendly so all in all this is one of my favourite restaurants in Ubud.
Leckeres Essen, leckere Drinks, Preise etwas höher für Bali-Verhältnisse, aber es lohnt sich! Personal super freundlich und schöne Location in Ubud. Empfehlung!
Incredible cocktails, I tried every one on the list. Top choices 'Salted Caramel Espresso Martini' and 'Basil Cucumber Smash'. Pick of the food is the betel leaf sashimi, satay chicken skewers and crispy lemongrass chicken. All so full of flavour! Excellent service. All round a spectacular experience!
Stopped by around 9pm or 10pm for drinks and they were delicious! They mixologist are very skilled and artistic. They are very great conversationalist and even recommended places to go while in Bali. We didnt get a chance to order anything to eat since we were stopping by for after dinner drinks, but the food looked really good. The bar was cute, open and has a nice atmosphere.
It is a very nice location and great staff. The representation of food is great. I would give 3.5 stars if I could because the drink I got was meh, I got a panda coulda. I got fresh salad rolls and a vegans stir fry dish that didn't taste the greatest either. It looked delicious but it was nothing special. The portions are also rather small for the amount you're paying. I paid $30+ Canadain for two small vegatarian items, Pandan coulda and a sprite. Staff and location are great though.
Entertaining Smoked Negroni as a start of our meal followed by surprisingly tastful soft shell crab and above average beef randang. Atmostphere is loungy and relaxing and the staff is great!
We went for an evening meal in this fantastic pan Asian restaurant. Great location, centre of town and near the monkey forest. The service was wonderful with attentive staff, the starters (summer rolls and fried chicken) were delicious. The mains (pork belly and beef rendang) were amazing, very good portion sizes and good price, would definitely recommend!
We decided on this place based on the numerous reviews raving about the incredible food. I was very frustrated at the end of the meal because I felt conned - how can a restaurant with a 4.6 rating be serving such bad food with such a high price point? The restaurant itself is very pretty and inviting, but that in no way helps the food go down better. We ordered the soft shell crab and mango salad, dim sum, barramundi fish, and the smashed roasted potatoes - my reference point for this selection was based on the reviews once again. Firstly, everything was lukewarm except for the potatoes, and everything, except for the potatoes, was honestly so painfully mediocre and one-dimensional tasting. The dim sum made me question myself and why I even bothered ordering it in Bali, it’s basically just dumplings wrapped so poorly that they fall apart once you pick them up and they come served in a pool of basically, soya sauce. I was so confused by the soft shell crab and mango salad, the dressing tasted like tomato sauce, and the soft shell crab had been mixed in and was soggy. The fish was cooked well, but was overly smoked and did not go well with the watery sauce that was just mostly salty and tasted of nothing. This is definitely the place to go in Ubud if you’re craving roasted potatoes and water, other than that it’s really not worth the visit.
Our family of six dined here. Great service and quality meals with enough variety on the menu. Cocktail list was awesome, Lost in Paradise, was my favourite. Probably the best meal we had in Bali.
