Ithaka Warung

When I saw the menu I was so excited!
I did order aquafresca; watermelon, lime & peppermint, so refreshing!
Chicken satay on tapas selection was good, 7 pieces skewer top with peanut sauce.
My only comment is that chicken a little dry, however still enjoyable.
If you are a hardcore beef rendang lover, DO NOT order beef this dish!
Not as classic rendang with slightly thick gravy, this is came runny as like in curry, and way too much turmeric! They serves this rendang with sautéed spinach on iron skillet.
So disappointing for the rendang dish!

Sells western and local food. I ordered the fried rice and it tasted okay, although not really the authentic taste that I was looking for. Very close to the hotel I was staying (Aston Canggu)

I felt like Lorena (see recession about 3 weeks ago). Got food poisoning from Mie Goreng. Service & ambience 5 out of 5 stars.kitchen unfortunately 0 out of 5.

Came here quite a few times in Canggu and each time had a great meal. Huge portions and great quality and price with really friendly staff. Perfect for lunch or dinner

I stayed in Bali for more than 2 weeks and I have come to this place almost everyday. They have a wide array of choices and you will never get tired of their food.
Big servings, easy on the budget, and there's something for everyone.

My favorites are their All Day Breakfast Menu. Beef Rendang and Bali Sunset.

My first meal in Bali after a long flight, totally recommend! They served us 30 mins before closing which we were grateful for <3

I really love this place! The owner and staff are so friendly. Also they have an amazing offer for breakfast for 60k and the choice is really huge. My fav things are white bowl (if you are into coconut, definitely worth to try), coconut pancakes and avocado toast. And also mint tea! So good and the pot is just big enough (with fresh mint in it). Also they have a special offer for your doggy, if you decide to come with your pet. My personal chill place in Canggu. Recommend to visit (and it has a pretty nice vibe in the evening)

One of the best places where we ate in Bali. The food was very delicious. The stuff was friendly.

Overall a great place. Decor is really nice; because it’s a rooftop it’s breezy and quiet. Great breakfast promo 60k includes a coffee. The service is very good. And the food is a good mix of western done really well or Indonesian.

Simply the best and my favorite cafe! Been gere so many times. Outstanding breakfasts for good price with good coffee and all taxes included. Must try them all! Nice ocean view, roof and good vibes.

Good Indonesian food. Had the Beef rendang and Pad Thai. Both of which was freshly prepared. Price wise was very affordable too!

Hidden up some stairs off the street - don’t miss their açai/dragon fruit bowls. Very delicious. Also had a good view of Canggu beach!

Came here for dinner. Service was cold and can be improved. Gado gado did not have tempeh or tofu, just leafy greens, potatoes, carrots etc. Menu a little pricey. Limited place to park scooters and staff seemed upset somehow.

Great rooftop spot, little fancier than most warungs but still cheap for what you get. Service was great and just for the slightest inconvenience they gave us free fruit. Highly recommend.

Very cool vibe at this spot. Fusion menu of western and Indonesian. The food we ordered were tasty and well prepared. Stumbled onto this restaurant and glad we did. Recommend if you’re in the area

Great place for lunch when at Canggu Beach. Just walking distance to the beach. Food was a good price and delicious.

Very relaxed place, good food, partly sea view. Must be great at sunset which we missed however.

We came here for Beef Rendang. What we got wasn’t the Beef Rendang we wanted to but however we loved this dish! I would call it Beef Curry or Beef Rendang Fusion. Everything was very tasty.

We loved the place for the value for money for breakfast, we went almost daily. It turns out that from this month the coffee is no longer included in the breakfast menu, a pity, it is no longer worth it for that price

Prices are not exactly for warung but it is nice inside and they have a view point in top of the building

Great meal for a fair price. Nice and breezy escape from the heat on the airy second floor. Like a restaurant in a treehouse!

Loved the food when it was at it's old location. Went a few months back to give it a try at their new location which is beautiful, but the quality and taste was lacking compared to their other location. Came again recently as I wanted to give it another chance and same.coffee is so so, breakfast is not that great. Nasi goreng is super oily. Only thing that is consistent is their juices. Don't bother to bring your laptops here to get some work done, the WiFi is super slow to non-existent. Apparently the messages here from the owners say that the supplier and cooks haven't changed, but their standards definitely has.

Their food is bit different than usual, also fresh juice is highly recommended! Wish to feel it again.

Pour les français: Evitez ce lieu. C'est tout sauf un warung. Plus onéreux qu'un réel warung (54k pour un curry vegerarien + 12k le riz + 44k un mi goreng) + 6% de taxes. Bref sans parler des prix, le curry vegetarien était le pire de Bali (ça fait 3 mois qu'on baroude l'intégralité de l'île), sans goût et vraiment très épicé. Bon le mie goreng, rien de fameux à part peut-être le prix.
L'endroit est sympa tout de même.

English: Do not go there. It's not a true warung, more expensive than normal warung (54k for veggie curry + 12k plain rice and 44k the mie goreng) + 6% tax. Otherwise, the curry was the most disgusting curry I've ever eat in the whole island (I tried many since it's 3 months I've been visiting), taste was very bad and it was very spicy. The mie goreng was ok, nothing much but expensive.
The place is cool tho.

The warung has such a beautiful view of the sea and it’s super cute! I ordered a chicken curry and a fresh juice! Best chicken curry in Bali - full of carrots and potatoes - super creamy! Simply the best!

Simply the best prices and best quality in Canggu. Local food with a European tint, no wonder this is a favourite with locals and recurring travelers

Very affordable for what you get (full for 60k), good location and interior looks very good. Deffo coming again

Good place. We enjoyed the meal (tried eggplant balls with aioli souse, pad thai and soup). Service good be improved, but what we appreciated is that the place is trying to avoid plastic usage as much as it's possible. Good vibes.

We ate here almost everyday during the week we spent in Canggu. It’s super well priced, good location and their vegan nasi goreng is amazing - as is all the other food. If I could give a bonus star for their commitment to not using any plastic, I would.

Me and my partner, we just love this place. As a year ago at their old location and even more now! All renewed and sparkling. The owner and staff are kind and warm people, food is delicious.

This place is just ok. I've been here 3 times because I wanted to give them a fair chance based on the good reviews. Each time I came back I was disappointed though. The service here is not very good, it used to be better at the old location (not sure if staff has changed). Also the food is overpriced. There are warungs with tastier Indonesian food for a much better price. I do like the new space though!

Very nice terrace with an ocean view (not beachfront, but the view is nice). Lots of vegan and vegetarian options clearly marked in the menu. I really liked the choice between small/large portions. I always got small ones and they turned out to be “regular” to me️ The prices are also quite reasonable. Not too crowded.

Pleasant staff, generous servings of healthy food. A nice elevated spot above the mayhem of Batu Bolong

Old location used to be a favorite.
The new one is a great spot with a nice breeze and beautiful view over Batu Balong.
Unfortunately the food was a disappointment. Bothe the nasi goreng and mi goreng were too sweet and too oily.

Prices are cheap 38K for a nasi or mi goreng. 30K for a detox juice.

But I would only come back if they seriously improve their food back to what Ithaca used to be.

Good place and price is decent. Pasta and the western options were good, but the Indonesin food wer not, no where close to authentic/decent on the Indonesian dish. But waiter is friendly.

Such a good place to eat and the food was really supper great and the red Thai curry so tasty and yummy also the staff really friendly and lovely! I would like to come back and eat there again:)

Pretty disappointed with this place! Good prices and restaurant itself is lovely, but the food was below average and the service was really poor.
