KAKUL VILLA UBUD

Nice boutique hotel in a calm locality. 10 min drive from Ubud central. Rooms are decent, amazing food & super friendly staff. Best part is that the room comes with a kitchenette with cooking utensils. While booking ask the hotel for a ground floor room so that you have direct access to the pool. Scooter rental place is close to the hotel.

They were amazing! Is super quite but nice at the same time! The staff is incredible! The breakfast is super good

Booked the 5 bedroom villa for 3 nights, it was a wonderful stay - big rooms and very spacious. There was a slight issue with water supply on the first night but the staff were very kind and did their best to help us. Location is right next to CrossFit Ubud too, and a short drive up to Ubud centre. Can’t find the pictures of the villa now but here’s a picture of the breakfast that was included with the stay

This hotel is perfect: the service, the breakfast (no buffet but the choice between different course and it is DELICIOUS), the swimming pool
The bedrooms are always clean and beautiful comfortable we loved our stay here and it was really relaxing
We recommand this place for everyone!

Very high value for money. The room we stayed was great. It comes with mini fully functional kitchen (and fridge).
Our room has direct access to the pool, right by our porch deck.
You can't hear any vehicles running around from the nearby main street.
Breakfast was great, service was great.

First impressions - good facilities, nice pool & great value. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Unfortunately, I cannot leave a higher rating than 3 stars based on our experience.

The hotel was full of screaming kids. From early morning till the early hours, all you can hear is screaming/ squawking children. This demonstrated the paper thin walls, which were also an issue at night. When rodents could be heard scurrying about in the ceiling.

I feel bad to mark a hotel down for the fault of other inconsiderate guests but in this case I think the hotel either needs to go the full hog and build a playground and discourage couples from staying. Or vice versa and capitalise on their tranquil setting and facilities and not allow children! At the very least review their refund policy so that if couples/ individuals looking for a peaceful break in Bali get caught up in this awful crèche like scenario, they can escape and go elsewhere.

Breakfast included but below average. (Chill out putting lemon on everything!) The restaurant was convenient, and some dishes were pretty good (21% surcharge seems a bit steep though).

Wifi really isn’t great, drops out all the time.

This is such beautiful place to stay.located in a very calm and quiet location.the staff are also so friendly and helpful with everything.the room is well set up and very comfortable to stay in - very nice interior.

Keseluruhan sangat baik, dari Staff dan security yg ramah. Namun kecewa di bathupnya agak rusak jadi gk bisa dipakai.

Nice place and good people, location is not the perfect one, as it's 2.50 KM far from ubud center.

The Place Is Cheap And Good I Like The Bed and The Water Heater If You Come To Bali With Low End Budget You Should Come Here.

Actuallu really nice and comfy place.side by side with other hotel. Love the vibe even tho small. Just make sure your room has nice air conditioner, maybe ask if it gives you noises.

Open new normal dengan protokol kesehatan. Suasana santai dan cukup jauh dari keramaian. Pelayanan baik dan fasilitas bagus. Pool, breakfast dan restoran tetap buka untuk lunch/dinner. Cocok untuk couple atau family.

Fasilitas lengkap, staf ramah & murah senyum, kolam renang bersih, kamar bersih, lokasi di pendesaan, suasana sangat tenang, makanan lezat & lengkap, wifi di setiap kamar, 100% recommended

Alhamdulillah pas dapat harga.miring bgt kemariinn.kamar pas d dpn pool.teras kamarnya yang langsung pool semakin bikin cozy dan romantis buat sekedar bercengkrama.
Dapurnya juga OK.

Sayangnya lampu teras pada saat itu mati, mungkin sebaiknya sering di cek yaa.

Lokasi agak jauh dari keramaian Ubud, jalan menuju villa ini dekat sawah sehingga kalau malam gelap. Tapi begitu masuk villanya, kece banget. Designnya bagus, lucu, instagramable, unik dan simple. Ada teras kecil beserta bean bag untuk bersantai dan kolam renang tepat didepan suite room. Rate suite room berkisar 300-400 ribu, kamarnya luas dan full fasilitas (kompor listrik dan peralatan memasak juga tersedia). Villa hanya berisi 16 kamar jadi suasananya tenang. Resepsionis hanya buka sampai jam 9 malam setelah itu dijaga oleh security. Untuk staycation villa ini cocok banget.

We had a great time. Cool little wooden villas, serene, & tranquil.
Staff were super friendly & helpful. In house food was fabulous also. Even though we spend most of our days checking Ubud out.
For better budget, rent a scooter.

Nice and clean.
Unfortunately they don’t have good wall isolation system in the bedroom
So forget to expect some peaceful rest during night or day, you can hear clearly your next door neighbor talking and is “talk” not scream. So forget “quite and calm places”
Unless you come when no one next to your room

Lokasi agak susah dicari, pelayanan cukup ramah, harga cukup terjangkau, varian makanan kurang, kenyamanan kurang sbb jarak kamar berdekatan sekali dan kolam renang terlalu dekat juga, kamar bersih, toilet bersih, parkiran kurang luas

Nice and clean place but the walls are like carton. Can understand each words the neighbors spelled. Can not sleep during the or even take nape at the day. Wifi and hot water are not stable. "Please do not disturb" doesn't make sens in this place

The villa is easy to find. We had great time here, you can feel village atmosphere. The place is very quite and calm. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Their welcome drinks are refreshing and delicious.

We rent private villa with two bedroom, kitchen, living room and private pool. The rooms are nice, big and clean. One of the bathroom and bedroom are not separated by wall, just curtain (the one with pool view). The villa have their own wifi and password.

The restaurant food is great and they have non-private pool beside the restaurant. You also can request to eat in the room. I would love to recommended this accommodation.

This place it's not to big, but so comfortable and feels like homes, this hidden place really lovely and staff are very friendly. The room is spacious and had a little pantry in the corner. If you want to hide from the crowd, this places are recommended!

Bagi yang mau cari suasana pedesaan ubud asli villa kakul cocok banget buat kamu. Fasilitas lengkap dan bersih

Wow.villanya bagus banget. Dari mulai suasana atmosfir yg bali banget sampe fasilitas yg Ok. Suasana sejuk dikelilingi pepohonan & daun2. Villa nya ada yg berbentuk modern & ada sprti rumah kayu zaman dahulu yg sejuk banget. Petugasnya ramah, ada kolam renang & juga spa. Mknan mnurut saya kurang rasanya. Harga villa tdk mahal, mulai dari 500 rb an. Lokasi di Ubud Bali.

Di depan suit lebih baik lebi bersih. Yg villa 1kamar menegecewakan kurang bersih air agk bau ac kotor air rusak g bisa jalan jd mandi di kamar yg depan

Was amazed by the sheer size of the villa. Nice pool, kitchen and bedrooms. Didn't t like one of the bathrooms because like mostly in Bali it was an open one. This gave rise to several issues like privacy (neighbour window) and intruding wildlife. Had to box my soapbar because of rodent gnawing it! Place needs a bit of maintenance, saw some leaks here and there but nothing serious. Overall value for money is excellent. Hotel staff is very helpful, ordered roomservice always friendly and responsive. Trips ordered, swift and flawlessly executed. Prices also lower than most. Had a great time and with some DIY this place would have gotten 5 stars.
