Already what a job from the French-speaking translators who respond quickly to emails with lots of possibilities for visiting programs that put the locals to work at prices that couldn't be more affordable! A superb welcome booklet upon our arrival to discover the balé in which we are based and the people who live there, really thank you.
We stayed 4 nights in the guest room offered by Anom and Ati where we were wonderfully welcomed. What an effort already to learn French when it is difficult for us to remember a few Balinese words.
Anom who took us through the rice fields that he knows so well, then introduced us to Balinese painting in all simplicity and humility.
Ati who taught us how to make coconut oil and the recipe for the famous Nasi goreng (in all objectivity his are truly the best tasting on the island.).
Who cooked delicious meals for us and took great care of us.
The simplicity of this balé also gives it all its charm, where animals and people all coexist together.
Immersion in a balé that is difficult to leave.

We started our vacation in Bali at the Keliki Painting School where we were warmly welcomed by incredibly kind families and accommodated in the heart of balé, for the first 6 nights of our trip. Keliki is located 5 km north of Ubud, which allows you to shine in this extremely rich and diverse part of the island. Unique atmosphere in this place which is just as unique, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the traditions and Balinese culture. We had the great honor of being able to attend the ceremonies in August, which will remain a highlight of our discovery. We chose to spend our last night at the KPS before our return to France. A lot of emotion at the time of goodbye, because it is never easy to part with beautiful people. I recommend with eyes closed.

Great experience to do: Ganyar welcomes you as a group for a day rich in information: she speaks good French, during the day (10 am to 4 pm) she teaches us lots of things about Balinese culture, a pure delight. It starts with a 1 hour walk in the middle of the rice fields of her village, then arrived at her house, she cooks for the group.
Afterwards we go to the milk and coconut oil production workshop and then we end this day by making offerings.

An excellent stay which allowed us to understand the life and culture of the Balinese. In direct contact and with sound advice, all with very reasonable prices for a warm welcome

Beautiful experience that led me to live with Riong and Pitri's family for 4 days in this small village where time seems to have stopped. Traditional room with private bathroom, home-cooked meals, infinite kindness and beautiful moments of sharing that make you feel at home. Riong and Pitri organize many activities and preserve the art of traditional drawing and painting. Beautiful memories of my stay the evenings playing "Uno" with other guests, Pitri and his two sons, Poutri and Rahtu.

Keliki is a special village in Gianyar Regency which be well-known for its traditional painting arts. The popular painting style of Keliki has certain characteristics that give simplicity to its paintings, which can be seen visually in the form of works of painting.

Ganyar et toute sa famille sont adorables discrets et ont ete très prevenants à notre égards. Nous avons adoré ce petit coin de paradis en pleine nature. C'est un lieu calme propre et apaisant.allez y sans réfléchir et passez un bon sejour. Peut etre nous y rencontrerons nous à nouveau.
