Kenji (Menya Kenji) Canggu

Incredibly delicious ramen and gyoza! We always come back here both to Canggu and Seminyak! The staff is always very friendly, attentive and very hospitable! The girl Ayu is incredibly sweet, thanks for the service!

Taste 5 (vegan ramen has become my 2nd favorite ramen in the world after my favorite ramen shop in Harajuku in Japan. Make sure to ask/add garlic! Curry is also on-point!), Health 4.5, Interior/Design 5 (love the outdoor area), Location 4, Service 5 (they really try hard), Cleanliness 5 (even outdoors), Value 4.5. Bonus= Finding Hachiko, alive & well, in Bali!

The soup is delicious but the noodles are terrible
It looks like noodles from refrigerated yakisoba noodles.

I loved this ramen restaurant. The portion is not very large but with a starter or dessert it is perfect!

Me and my 3 friends ordered 6 different dishes and all tasted good.
For the main course I had a ramen which was very tasty.

The staff here is really friendly and we liked the exchange at first taste. Rich and everything, but then we realized how much salt there was and couldn’t finish it.
We decided to give the establishment a second chance, because the ratings were good. The second time I asked for it to be taken away and for less salt, because it was trash.
As a result, I came home, ate and realized that there was even more salt! We couldn’t eat, the money was thrown away.

Best ramen I ever eaten! Just passed aside and decided to have a dinner. That was my bargain!

The broth is so rich and full of flavor and everything’s cooked and seasoned to perfection
We also had Gyozas and those were excellent as well.
Our server Elis was also wonderful, she‘s so kind and lovely. We truly had the perfect dinner here, highly recommend

We were delighted to visit Menya Kenji based on recommendations and were absolutely not disappointed. The Signature ramen was phenomenal - rich and aromatic broth, perfectly al dente noodles and carefully selected ingredients that ensured full flavor in every bite. The cooked gyoza dumplings were equally excellent, offering a delicate and light flavor experience that paired perfectly with the ramen. We also want to thank waitress Ayu for her exceptional service - her warmth and professionalism made our visit even more special. We look forward to returning and highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates truly Japanese flavors.

It's a very nice japanese restaurant, I believe their speciality is Ramen.

I tried their tantanmen, it was really delicious I really like the pork meat it's very soft.
The ocha drink can be refill, which is a huge plus!

Love their service, really fast to serve, friendly staff.
They have a lot of parking space for motorcycles, and they have at least 2 car parking space too.

Definitely will come back to try other dishes too.

Affordable & delicious Japanese food around Berawa! Love the curry katsu & karage so much since I'm not really big fan of ramen, but all the menu are worth to try!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Kenji restaurant and it was truly a delightful experience. The food was incredibly delicious, with the ramen noodles cooked to perfection and the broth bursting with flavor. The restaurant had a cozy and inviting ambiance, making it the perfect place to enjoy a warm bowl of ramen.

Very delicious food and very friendly staff! We will definitely come back. Highly recommend

It's not an overstatement to say that this is one of my best ramen in Bali. Their ramen has rich broth, so savory but not too salty, and great noodles too. The outdoor seating were also great to enjoy the breeze when eating at night. Definitely recommended to add this place in your ramen list.

Dandan Ramen enak sekali, dan cukup sering makan di Menya Kenji dan jadi best choice untuk tempat makan siang

The dan-dan ramen was exceptionally delicious. Thick broth, and full of flavour.
The yakisoba was a bit too salty, though.
Katsu curry rice and curry ramen also worth to try. The chicken katsu was so crispy, but not oily.
The service was excellent, the staffs are very friendly.

I'm in bali for 8 days at the moment and this is the best food so far ramen signeture 10/10 along with the watermelon juice 10/10 service is 10/10

I give it 5 stars because it doesn't leave me any more. I am a person who loves ramen and gyozas and I go to many places to try, and it is totally successful, the ramen is delicious, an incredible flavor but best of all, the attention of the waitress, she clarified all our doubts and even It added the perfect spice that we each liked! Out of 10. I recommend it 100%
