The Team, the rooms and the vibe was amazing.

From the first moment on, I felt perfectly welcomed in the Kima Family. I was traveling alone but through the activities and surfing, it was super easy to connect with people from everywhere.

I came as a fresh beginner and now I am more confident in catching my own waves. This took me two weeks, of surfing everyday twice but with so much fun and great instructors that I had the best time in the water.

I made a lot of great friends all around the world and learned so much, which I am super thankful for.

Kima was amazing! I booked in for a week of surf and relaxing and its exactly what I got! The surf instructors were great and super friendly. The daily social activities felt very natural, fun and engaging, not forced like other hostels. The Coworking area is very well equiped too. Plenty of vegan options too:)

Had a fantastic time at this surf camp, very good atmosphere thanks to the staff including Maxime - one of the social hosts -, service & the surf teachers. The surfing lessons were good, they had nice schedules in which you are free to plan the lessons yourself. Here you were in small groups and also divided at your own level. Rooms were neat, clean and had nice beds. I traveled solo, but never felt alone. I would definitely come back here, thank you Kima for this fantastic time!

Great stay in this surf camp. The place is super beautiful and super clean! The staff is super responsive. A large number of locals work in this camp, whether in the hotel or in the surf lessons, they always have a smile and always try to help us. It's super nice. Kima surf Camp brings you a beautiful engaging and captivating surf experience from the moment you arrive to the minute you leave. This place is for all levels of skill. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Besides surf this place has plenty of other activities if your feeling a little tired of surfing and just need a break for a moment. I would highly recommend staying here for at least a week as anything less than 7 days will not be enough to truly get your surf camp experience. This is a must stop location in Bali to experience Bali beachside night life and beaches consistently and daily. The vibe from the people there and staff was incredibly. Our introduction and time there was carefully and elegantly done but Staff member Max. She’s will always help with giving information or assistance in anyway this includes injuries and places to go with an incredibly warm personality. I would like to thank the kima team and staff again as our stay was excellent and well planed. We look forward towards next time!

I stayed at the camp for a week and it was amazing. Not only did I have the best surf lessons, I also met amazing people during my stay. A perfect camp for solo travelers. The location makes it really easy to get around. Also if you don’t like driving a scooter and don’t wanna take a grab / gojek lots of places are walkable. However, the food in the camp is also very good. If you’re there you should also try their other activities like surfskate or yoga. The social host, especially Maxime, were really nice and helpful. Also after my stay at Kima she helped me with finding a good place to rent a surfboard. And if you’re working online, the coworking space is really good. Wi-Fi definitely worked for online meetings. Definitely recommend.

I had my first Surfcamp experience in Kima for 10 days and it was just incredible! To begin with, the rooms are spotless, they always smell good. The staff is kind and caring, always attentive to our needs! The surf teachers are also caring and attentive, they allowed me to learn but above all gave me a taste for surfing! Kima is the opportunity to cut yourself off from the world, to be with family, at home, to feel good even miles from home! Evenings, activities, it’s a unique and unforgettable experience! I can not wait to return! Thanks to the whole team!

Kima Surf Camp in Canggu is the best surf camp I've ever been too. The employees are friendly and get to know you to provide a personalized experience. The surf guides understand your skill level and give helpful feedback for progression. The rooms/facilties are always clean and the food is delicious. Don't even get me started about the lava cake. The camp activities are a great way to meet people if you are solo traveling. No doubt you will be crushing bintangs and getting barreled at Old Man's by the end of your trip.

Kima Canguu is great! I stayed here for 10 days and found everything to be great/awesome. The location is right down the street from the beach/main waves Batu Balong and Old Mans. They organise surf trips elsewhere so you get to go all over. The food is really good, I barely ate outside. 2 surf sessions a day really gives you the opportunity to improve your surfing, but if you want to spend more time socialising/hanging out that's an option too, lots of people spend afternoons lounging by the pool, and activities are hosted at least once but often couple times a day. The location is very central and in proximity to neighbouring towns in canguu such as berawa. Lots to do in this area. Highly recommend this surf camp:)

Amazing experience! 100% worth it. The team is very professional. The surf lessons are great and you get to meet a lot of people to hang out with and do some activities.

Went to Kima Surf Camp in Canggu, Bali for 5 nights as a start to my 3-week Bali vacation.
I got airport transfer included in my stay and even though I arrived at midnight there was no issue finding the driver in the airport. The drive was about 1 hour and we even stopped to get local SIM cards for our phones at a very professional shop.
The entire stay at Kima was super pleasant. The staff was super friendly, the place and rooms were beautiful and the food included was great - I didn't get anything I didn't like at any point (but that was also a general thing for Bali).
Once I got the hang of the Surf Planner, the surf trips were great and the instructors were generally good and friendly and you could tell they really wanted to improve your skills as a surfer. The pool and video sessions were also super helpful in improving your skills. I started as almost a complete beginner at 1-star and improved to do 2-star and eventually try going from a softboard to a hardboard.
I also joined the yoga and had a massage and both were of equal high quality.
The best part of my stay was the people I met, many of who I am still in contact with after returning home. This was greatly facilitated by the layout of the camp (eg.just 1 big breakfast table whoch everyone sits around), the surf classes as well as the activities planned by the staff!
I enjoyed my stay at Kima so much that I had to return to spend another 3 nights of my vacation there, before heading back home to Denmark:)

I had a great experience at Kimasurfschool in Canggu! The instructors were knowledgeable and patient, and I felt like I learned a lot during my lessons. The location was perfect for surfing, and the equipment provided was in great condition. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and I appreciated the personalized attention I received. Overall, I highly recommend Kimasurfschool to anyone looking to improve their surfing skills.

6 Days of excellent surfing, food and other activities.
The Kima Surf Camp in Canggu is a great adress when you wanna learn surf or improve your skills. The teachers are very good and helped me very much.
The accommodation is so clean and very comfortable. The Staff is every second for you there and help you in every belongs.
When I'm the next time in Bali I will go to Kima back again.

Love the accommodation- the place is super cute, especially at night when the lights switched on.
Room is comfortable and air con is strong.
The staff are friendly and their menu has a lot to offer, which was great as I was there during rainy season and don’t really want to go out in heavy rain.
The surf guides are very knowledgeable, and the team arranged for more east coast locations knowing that rainy season means poor wave conditions on the west side.

The whole camp is so clean and the staff is very accommodating. I was able to surf my first green wave very quickly due to the tips from the surfguides. Highly recommended

Everything was amazing. The staff that work there (reception, restaurant, cleaning, and surf team) make Kima what it is. Wil definitely look to return in the future.

Sehr sehr tolles Surf Camp ️ Der Aufenthalt war wirklich toll! Ich war alleine dort & man konnte extrem schnell andere kennenlernen. Die Surf Lehrer sind alles sehr nett und unterstützend. Die Unterkunft ist mega schick und super zentral zu allen Bars, Restaurants und Clubs kann ich wirklich nur weiterempfehlen!

I have a wonderful stay in Kima, the room is huge and the views are amazing. The ambience of the camp are super warm, the facilities are complete. I joined the wall climbing and it super fun! Joined 1 star session in Gado Gado beach and Fandy, Oner and Karo help me a lot to improve my skill. I don't know if surfing will be this fun and makes me happy
So sad that I just stay for 2 nights but I will definitely will coming back soon for stay longer and improve my skill of surfing

Das Kima Surf Camp ist jeden Cent wert - die Zimmer sind so wunderschön und gemütlich eingerichtet, die Surfstunden und die Coaches sind super und sehr hilfreich. Alle Angestellten sind unglaublich zuvorkommend und achten sehr darauf dass es einem an nichts fehlt. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Stayed at Kima Surf for a week and it was definitely the highlight of my time in Bali! I went with the intention of improving my surf skills, and after going out in the water twice a day for 6 days straight, I can say that I've met my goal. The surf guides are absolutely wonderful, the daily surf trips are super organized, the breakfast is amazing, and the entire surf camp is just so well run and well organized.

Before I went, I was a bit hesitant because of the price, but it was 100% worth it!

Quick tip, if you want to save some money, don't buy board insurance and don't buy the water bottle, just bring your own.

During the Worldwide Pandemic, there was no government lift of the travel band and the company verified they were unsure if we’d be able to visit from the US. Despite this scenario being completely out of our control, they refused to give us any sort of refund. While the airline and other hotels gave us full refunds during this traumatic health crisis, this company was aloof, insensitive and could care less that we were cancelling our honeymoon. I’ll acknowledge they may run a great surf camp but as far as the moral character of their business goes, it’s obviously corrupt and a pandemic had to bring it to the surface. Such a shame they were so insensitive during this time!

This was my second time at Kima canggu camp and I had such a great time once again. This camp is such a good way to meet new people and spend your mornings surfing around different spots.

Mostly I am really happy about the staff. Thanks to the staff; front desk people, floor staff, surf guides and the awesome volunteers housekeeping team, I could have not enjoyed my stay here more. Had such a fun time especially with Lena, the intern. Such funny stories and she's just a natural talking to guests and making them feel like home at Kima. Not to mention she has great tips about local places, whether it's about surf or food. She even cleaned my fin cut! I really think I enjoyed the social side of the camp this time more because of her.

I really liked the surf sessions and the guides as well. They really go above and beyond bringing you to the right spots. And if the plan needs adjusting, they very quickly come up with another plan. These guys are so funny which really makes you more relaxed in the water. I had a great time doing some day trips around bali for surf, which is also a great way to meet people and see places you wouldn't think of visiting.

The rooms are nice and cleaned every day and if there's any issues the staff is more than happy to help. Food is good as well and I love that you get a healthy breakfast every morning. Love their fresh juices. At this camp people work very hard to keep the quests happy. And they have such a positive approach. Always smiling!

All in all, successful stay at Kima once again and definitely coming back.

Great place to learn to surf. Kima surf provides all equipment and guide you to local surf spots. Surf at the best waves of that day and end the day with a video surf analysis to really improve your skills.

The camp is stunning and the atmosphere at camp is amazing. Good energy from the instructors and their love for surf is truly genuine. Love this place. See you next year:)

I have had really good experience with Kimasurf. The surfguiding is really good and the staff is amazing and very friendly. Really like the cheerful front desk and floor staff. The guides are funny and professional. Kima has also interns that are really fun and awesome especially Lena that I got to know better. She is really good at making people feel good and comfortable at the camp and has really good sense of humor.
The rooms are clean and food is delicious. All In all a very plesant experience.

The surf teachers are super attentive, they help you in everything and you really see that you can easily improve with their help and their theoretical explanations, they are also very nice and make you feel confortable with them. The rest of the staff is amazing too, very friendly and helpful.
In addition the breakfast is great, and the cleaning of the rooms is done every day. The pool is also a hoot.
The only real problem we have had is that on their website they say they lend you a free motorcycle if you use it for less than three hours when it really isn't free, instead they force you to rent it. It also says that Canggu is a suitable camp for beginners and it really is not, only for intermediate or advanced, they take you to Seminyak every day, so there is no problem, but I wish I had known from the beginning to have taken the accommodation directly there. But in summary It is a great Camp and our stay was wonderful.

Amazing surf camp. I had some much fun here. The food is good, the staff is great, and the surf guides are the best. Depending on the surf level you get groups of 6-12 people and they always have 2-3 guides per group, so it's almost like semi private sessions. Everybody is very friendly so it's really easy to hang out with other guests. Most people I met were also solo travellers.
I will defenitely come back to Kima Surf.

Recently we had the privilege of staying in Kima Surf. Our private pool villa was a dream come true. We had a lovely stay. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful. Kima Surf is in very good location only a couple of minutes walk away from Canngu Beach. Thank you for a lovely stay, we’ll be back again!

I stayed at the Green Room Canggu for two weeks, and I’ve got to say, it feels like home! The guides are super friendly and enjoy seeing you improve. The rooms are clean and really cute. Atmosphere in the camp was really chill, but that doesn’t mean they don’t take surfing seriously when you’re in the water. It was great to get in some surf theory, and the video analysis nights were awesome as well. I’ve been surfing since I was a kid, and feel like I improved so much in the two weeks I stayed at the camp. As I only had two weeks in Bali, it was amazing to have all the spots planned out for me based on the tides and conditions. I’ll definitely be planning another stay soon!

Set really close to old mans beach and really fun surf break, also close to echo beach and many cool bars to.watch sunset. They have swimming pool.and billard table for fun when not surfing also yoga classes
