Wayan was an awesome surf guide! We were guided by boat to surf around the reefs of Sanur, and we finally surfed turtle bay (Sarangan). Great vibes plus an amazing sunset surf! Will definitely book again here!

Thank you for this beautiful sunrise session. Last time, I was standing on the surfboard was more than 10 years ago. Thanks to the experienced eye of the instructor and great tips, I was able to catch and ride some big waves. I will be back soon.

I came to school to learn from 0. Already in the first lessons, they taught me how to stand and ride. I liked that the guys help catch waves when there is not enough strength and speed.

Our daughter (11 yo) had 1 personal surfing lesson for beginners with Wayan and was very happy with the result. Having never done it, she stood up on the board pretty quickly and was very proud of it. We got booked in at a very late notice and also at about half price of another place. Wayan was very accomodating in all aspects.
We would very happily use this business again on our next holiday in Bali.

Wayan and his team are my favourite surf taxi service at Mertasari Beach. There are a few others and I’ve used them all. I keep coming back to Wayan because I appreciate his communication, like that he will reconfirm if you’ve organised an early morning boat, and his English is excellent. My Bahasa is not!
I see him with students and he’s a great coach - take a lesson if you’re new to surfing or want to improve, it’s worth it.
His boards for hire are in great condition and there’s a good variety for any surfer.
Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed

I picked Sanur surf school after reading raving reviews about the personalised service and the repeated mention of Wayan speaking perfect English, providing clear and precise instructions and knowledge of the surf points. This became a reality minutes into the session when he advised where the currents are, how to watch out for the peaks and lining up for the waves. I had an amazing time and will definitely be back the next time I'm in Bali.

I contacted Wayan through WhatsApp from the listed number. It was the perfect way to line up my surf session. It was obvious that he wasn't trying to churn through lessons and customers as he was advising the best times to go based on waves and tide levels

Wayan is very nice guy and always has a good vibe! He cares about you and would choose a surfboard/surf point that suits your level. In the water, he would also pick a right spot for you and gave you suggestions on how to improve it. I love surfing with him and will definitely come back (actually I did already haha)!

Surfed for the first time, Wayan helped me so much getting the concept, gave me plenty of time to practice and rest, trach me how to improve.

Booked a surf session with Wayan (for a friend who was visiting from Australia) and a glowing report came back from Brendan. Having not been on the surfboard for awhile, he was a little apprehensive in going out to surf in unfamiliar waters… not sure what to accept. Wayan went above and beyond in facilitating an enjoyable surfing experience for Brendan, where he felt confident, safe and reassured at all times. Great experience! Definitely plan on coming back i have had a wonderful time. As a repeatedly beginning surfer I have almost lost confidence in me, so I decided to take one more lesson while traveling around Bali and found this school and Wayan is a really good and skilled instructor he tells you exactly what you have to fix and next thing you know you are standing on the board catching waves to me it is the most empowering feeling! So if you plan to go to Bali and learn how to surf or improve your surfing this is the place I would chose so see ya in the ocean catching some ‍️‍️

I was looking for a surf school in Sanur to find a “surf friend”. And I’m really happy to met Wayan and his uncle Komang. They are both local watermen very friendly, responsive and will always advise where and at what time it is better to surf today. The prices are also reasonable, they don't take too much and they provide good service. Only 5 stars.

A very nice school! All the team are really good teachers, we had a group lesson but it felt like a private one. We did surfing for the first time - but were able to ride it straight away with good instructions and cool pushers:) the spot itself is perfect - not crowded, the water is clean and no garbage at all

Have been surfing with Wayan for the past one week! It is such a wonderful experience surfing during sunrise at Serangan and Baby reef. I’m a beginner, Wayan is very patient with me and responsible for his student. If you are in sanur during November to March, definitely come give a try! ‍️
